Outside of the store was a large gate of "love locks" purchased by customers. It was quite impressively full of the gold locks although I noticed a pink lock in the bunch. I had to ask about the locks so talked to a staff person about them. She said couples or singles could purchase a lock for $35 and place the lock anywhere on the gate. Unauthorized locks would be cut off. It made for a nice art installation. I have seen this done on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York too. Unfortunately when we showed up the listed hours online were incorrect, the store was closed even though it should have been open for another half hour, oh and small detail-the store has an entirely different name now. It was a shame because the women's attire that we could see through the windows looked really nice and it would have been great to have the opportunity to shop inside. If this is a new business or re-branding the owner might want to consider claiming the business address and updating the name/hours. We would have adjusted our dinner itinerary to visit the shop prior to the correct closing time.
