Most classes I've attended have been in nature, with amazing ocean views, or even right on a peaceful beach! I've taken a few random yoga classes here and there, but I would definitely not consider myself to have much experience at all. She did an excellent job making me feel comfortable, even tho I'm pretty inflexible, while gently pushing me to be a little more flexible! There were other students that had a lot of experience and knew the poses by name and could do them instinctively, but Alexandra took the time to come over and gently adjust my poses to help me do them right! She makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed with no judgement for newcomers who have no clue what they are doing, while still challenging the experienced yoggies! I also loved how she guides your mind and spirit along with your body, making you feel very harmonious! The meditation at the end with warm towels and essential oils was the icing on the cake! 10/10 would recommend!! She doesn't charge anything for her classes, so be sure to tip her well! Thank you for making me feel comfortable and welcomed Alexandra!

I got to attend my first class at the new studio in Haleiwa and the teacher was amazing exactly, what I would expect from this business. I felt safe practicing because the studio had a big open air garage door. It is really beautiful to be inside but feel like you're outside with nature being what you see during your session. My Google maps didn't take me to the right address, so I recommend using Apple Maps. It could've just been my phone. Mary is wonderful and I appreciate how much effort she puts into helping people use their passes that they had bought before the pandemic. I'll be back with the zoom class on Wednesday.

In a small unassuming strip mall, you'll find a simple studio with invaluable (valuable beyond estimation) treasure. From my first visit, covered in dirt, Keri welcomed me. When I came in without a mat, she matted and toweled me (I recommend you bring a towel though, we get sweaty). When I was sick of having my hair tied back all day, I let her loose. I'm not sure if she realized how much that meant to me, but Keri made me feel comfortable in my full expression and continues to. All instructors I've been graced by have encouraged proper alignment, which shows true care in their role as gentle guides. I've been practicing yoga since 2008 and it's really special to find this space. I've really been enjoying my fellow students, too. A real community, aloha brewed.

Kahumana is the Hawaiian word for Guardian of the Life Force or Spirit. I truly believe you can feel this intention while practicing on the farm. A nice…read more(and extremely informative) representative handed me a flyer and I was immediately excited. Living in Waianae, the options for fitness classes are extremely limited and I was really wanting to find a place to do yoga close to home. Classes are offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Tuesday: Hatha Yoga @ 6:15-7:30pm Wednesday: Vinyasa Yoga @ 6:15-7:30pm Saturday: Mauka Yoga @ 9:15-10:30am (outdoors and it is like a more relaxing version of Vinyasa) I've gone to both Tuesday and Saturday classes. I took both classes with Carissa and she is amazing! She adds her own style and I really enjoyed the optional aromatherapy portion of the class. The farm itself is the perfect environment for relaxation and the Saturday class on the stage overlooking the farm was surreal. I can't get enough and hope to make a habit of coming for all three classes weekly. Cash only, donation based (but a donation of $10 is encouraged.) I'm so happy someone is putting in the effort to organize this for the West Side!

They have a $99 first time student intro offer so this was perfect for me. My first class here was the Wednesday 60 min hot yoga candlelight and it was just what I needed at the first time. I'm not a huge sweater but with all the stresses I was dealing with and the amazing teacher I was covered in sweat and felt so relieved after my first class. I immediately enrolled in the Saturday 90 min class. Now that I've been coming for about 3 weeks I have seen improvement in my flexibility and have been managing my stress level tremendously. I have been doing the weekly candlelight and 90 day Saturday classes. I will update once I am able to attend the Monday yin and Saturday Pilates classes but I've been told both classes are great as well. I have attended classes from all 3 teachers and though their styles vary slightly I have felt amazing after classes with each 3. There are locker rooms to leave your personal belongings while in classes and clean showers and restrooms. Which is a huge plus. The owner is amazingly supportive and encouraging as well.
