Enticing and ideal spot for downtown Brookston brews, this is an easy alternative to all the drudge right off the interstate, definitely take an extra good minute to trip up here for some top tier drip! These guys are really friendly and know their stuff, seem to relish the coffee cherry with more attention to detail than typical small cafes. This new town digs fits right in with fun remodelled barn vibes, high ceiling and atmosphere inviting all in to stay a space. Close to the pubs and the new brewery, plenty to try in this small town now! There's cold brew, the usual selection of plastic bottles syrups, and a delightful shelf of teas some they've given their own special tough. Apparently one tea latte tastes like fruit loops! Being back in the area for a bit of factory work, I stuck to the caffeinated cups sampling a combination of my favorites. We remade the famous Atomic Pony, lavender and white chocolate, from Sacred Grounds. Turned out excellent! It's a sweet summer dessert to drink thru the humidity, way too easy to drink and echos blueberries. They also made me a couple drinks with sugar cookie, very enjoyable too. I dabble on the odd end of coffee snob, unable to like pure undiluted, but the better stuff sure makes a proper latte. Noticed the roast here does well with the syrups, balancing sugar and bitter, but only oat milk option for non dairy, wish they had coconut! They need a good seasonal menu too to better show off their beans. Quite a few others took out cold brew so be sure to inquire when excessive caffeine is needed. There's parking around and easy to find this one stoplight in the town. Hours are shorter than Lafayette java houses, only open til two and not every day. Still a top option for area espresso and tea, highly recommended and hope they'll fit up a rewards program through Toast or Joe to entice us more! read more
