Once I was called back in about 15 minutes. They took my friend to the other waiting room bc it had ac The nurses that did my initial set up were great! Leigh and Susan were very good to me as were the others but I didn't get their names. Dr. Willman is excellent and he tells the truth but in a way that's not upsetting if that makes sense. Due to my eye condition there was no choice for me I had to do the laser, plus Dr. Willman had to chip away too. The staff make sure that you are comfortable with blankets etc etc. Plus they take them off when you get hot. Everyone was friendly and kind. I let everyone know that when I'm nervous I tend to talk a LOT but they didn't seem to have an issue with it. My actual surgery was scheduled for 11 but I didn't go back until 11:30. I had the best BP readings in my life at a doctor's office!! The nurse also used the vein that I wanted her too. Once she got the needle in my blood started going and went slightly overboard but she cleaned up everything making sure no blood got on my clothes. She even changed the dressing bc she said it was too messy for her liking! My follow up is tomorrow and my right eye is scheduled for 4 weeks. My eye feels irritated and scratchy under this big eye shield but not painfully so. I'll be glad for the shield to be removed tomorrow at the follow up. The surgery center was immaculate so bright and clean. I highly recommend CarlinVision!

He would reach out to shake my hand then proceed to wipe his hand on his pant leg in front of me which I thought was rude and was very short when answering my questions. But I came back home, mainly because they performed my LASIK and I felt my eyesight was detonating and I should start wearing contacts/glasses again. I came in to set up an appointment and the ladies there were really nice. The office is always clean and they have a huge waiting area with plenty of seating and refreshments while you wait to be called back. The lady (I didn't get her name) I spoke with suggested I see Dr. Thornhill, after I told her I would rather see a different doctor than the one I saw the past couple of times I was there. I am so thankful for her because Dr. Thornhill restored my faith! He was very charismatic, funny, and just overall great energy! He answered all my questions and addressed any concerns I had. He also recommended eye exercises I can do since I'm constantly staring at a computer screen during my work day. So if you are not sure which doctor to see, I definitely recommend Dr. Thornhill.

They gave me this whole spiel about how the charge was for the refraction exam. That is baloney. I had already paid $35 copay. They are doing this because so many do not purchase glasses at the office and instead go to less expensive places. They also charged us the copay which was dishonest because we didn't use the opthmolagist but saw the optometrist which should have no copay per our insurance. This group is extremely dishonest and has figured out a way to rip off seniors and are doing it with no conscious..., creating twisted explanations to get by with it.

This location is great!…read more I generally like MyEyeDr because they have one integrated system so no matter what location you go to, they can see your past history. Each doctor I've seen has been great. I don't know how someone could be a "bad" eye doctor LOL. The differentiating factor is the front desk staff. They are really strict about being late, and the cutoff is usually 15 minutes. Last year at another nearby location, I even called in advance and because I was 16 minutes late, they said I had to reschedule. And there was no other appointment for weeks. This year I was late as well. However, this location was so nice. They looked at the schedule, and asked the doctor if he could try to squeeze me in. Of course they advised that I would have to sit and wait 30-45 minutes if I wanted to take the chance. I had time so I didn't mind. In the meantime, I looked for new frames. If y'all wear glasses- you know this process can take a long time. About 30 minutes later the doctor was able to see me. I got my exam, and my new prescription. Since I couldn't find new frames I liked that were in my price range, I just opted to get new lenses for my existing frames. They had a great selection in a variety of price ranges- I just happened to like all the ones that were ridiculous haha. When I went back to get my glasses, they were still super helpful and friendly. I called and no on answered (probably busy on another line) and they even called me back! I have never had such excellent service at a MyEyeDr location before.

Not very happy with the service I received today. I received a text that the reading glasses I…read morepicked up were ready. So i went during my lunch period to grab them. At the front desk, they asked me to put them on and everything was blurry at about a distance of 1 foot from my face. Additionally, I tried looking at my phone and it looked distorted in my hand, like it was bending. While waiting the 2 weeks to pick up the glasses I tried a pair of over the counter readers with the same script and had no issues. The only reason I went with these was because the Dr told me it accounted for an astigmatism. I let them know that I was unable to see properly and they took the glasses back to check. When the lady came back, she said, the prescription is what the Dr prescribed. I explained the issues with them and she seemed to blow me off. She said that I would have to be retested. I explained that I can only do appointments on the weekend due to the lack of timing requesting time off as this is not considered an emergency situation. Unfortunately the soonest appointment is April 20th. She scheduled me and said nothing. There was awkwardness at the counter and I asked, did you schedule me. She said yes. So I guess I was done since she said nothing and I left. It was a level of rudeness that I have rarely seen in a customer service oriented business. At no time did they express any concern or care that this mistake is quite inconvenient. They weren't pleasant, apologetic or sympathetic. Mistakes with orders happen, what upset me was the lack of customer service by the front desk staff. They truly deserve to be sacked. In fact, I spoke to the gentleman who helped me order them, who no longer works there and he mentioned that my experience isn't uncommon with the front desk staff. In fact he said the two woman at the front desk were part of the reason he left the company. I will try to resolve the issue with this company but ultimately, I have very little faith. If I have too, I will take the frames and go elsewhere and end up paying out of pocket for a new exam and lenses. I will update this post based on the resolution. UPDATE: I went today to pick up the pair of glasses to give it a few days of letting my eyes adjust to see if they work out. I checked google and yelp to see what time they were open. I get here and they are closed and it's, "by appointment only". Yelp even stated that the hours were updated a month ago. This place is absolutely garbage. It needs new management or shut down. The last 6 months of reviews are horrendous. They can't get their hours correct online and their front desk staff are like the mean girls club. Once I pick up the glasses I'm done. I will encourage everyone I know never to give this company business.
