I have been going to Five Points Eye Care for over 16 years. They have always been professional and very caring. They cared for my children's vision concerns as well as mine and my husbands needs. In times when I needed more in-depth optical care, they referred me to other great practices that cared for me just the same. Members of our family have been seeing Dr. Brya for many years. We first started going when our then teen son wanted contacts so that he could play sports without dealing with glasses. That was many years ago. I know that I have had glasses prescriptions from them for about 13 years. When we had problem at night, the practice was helpful and made sure that someone saw that family member first thing in the morning. I find the practice friendly, helpful and professional. read more

I am not the type to leave bad reviews. But I feel absolutely robbed by this place. It has been almost 2 months since I ordered my contacts from them, but they did not notify me when there was an apparent issue with shipping. Since then I am on my FOURTH attempt at receiving my contacts, even offering to go to the office to pick them up. Each time, I have been told "the business manager will call you back when she gets in at 2". Not sure who this is but no one has called me back. And no one has attempted to solve this for me. Definitely recommend looking elsewhere!!! read more

I personally do not use this establishment but went to pick up a pair of glasses for my coworker on my break. I will not use it ither! Staff look at you as if you're an alien if you're not one of their usual customers you know the type with two first names like Hannah kate or hailey Jane on both sides of the office. The lady Katherine maybe was her name I don't know as she never said her name. Seemed to be too busy to want to assist but did anyway while making an unnecessary comment about when the glasses were ready. Which has nothing to do with me as I clearly stated I was picking up for a co worker. The male in the office was so loud everyone on Milledge ave could hear him talking about the gentleman's coverage! Rude and archaic at best. Stay away unless you're Anna Lynn read more

Not the most beautiful optometry office I've been to, but definitely has the nicest staff! Actually, I don't think I've been treated so nicely for a regular eye check-up in my life, and that's no exaggeration. I've only been here once, so can't say a whole lot regarding expertise/experience/lalalala, but Dr. Brya was very helpful and closely listened to all of my concerns, and gave me very thorough answers, which is always a great thing. Place is within walking distance from where I live and therefore, extremely close to UGA. Receptionist was really friendly and found me a way to get a $50 rebate on my contacts =) read more

Our four year old had shown some signs of eye problems early on, so we took her in to see Dr Brya. To our surprise, we were told she needed glasses. As most parents would be, we were reluctant, but we proceeded. Our daughter has flourished with her new glasses and patch therapy. We had no idea that she was lacking in her vision. I give them 5 stars bc they are always so courteous and I completely trust them with our daughter. Every aspect of our visits were great! Highly recommend! They are more expensive than say Walmart, however, I feel the value is more than there due to the staff and options for frames. read more

I have ever had anything but the best service when I have gone there! Both doctors are excellent. I have a strange eye condition, and they know exactly how to care for it and me. I highly recommend these doctors and getting glasses there. The optical department is great with a wide variety of frames from which to choose. read more

I normally don't leave reviews on anything, but my experience here was just too negative to not share with other people. First off, they didn't tell me until halfway through my appointment when it was too late to cancel that there was a problem with my insurance and I'd have to pay in full. I ended up calling my insurance while still there and sorting out the problem, but you'd think they'd tell you something like this before an appointment begins instead of when it's too late. Also the staff seemed like they were not properly trained. I had not had an eye exam since I was a kid, and they told me I could drive after getting my eyes dilated, but once I was actually out on the road I felt very uncomfortable and knew that they had lied to me about that. It was so bright, I could barely keep my eyes open. And last, I wasn't even given my new eye prescription before leaving, and I'm not entirely confident the prescription is accurate. The optometrist went extremely fast and I was barely able to register what I was seeing before moving on to the next thing. I would not come back here. read more

We love this office. Dr. Brya sees all of us in our family and has treated both kids since they were little. They love her and the optical staff. They know us by name and always speak when we are there. We have never had an issue with visits or glasses. I don't know that we would ever go anywhere else. read more

Dr. Nadine Forche' was brilliant and answered more questions than I had. Very caring staff as well. I was pleased with the care offered.

Dysfunctional staff. Cancelled two appointments, rescheduled and cancelled when i got there. Staff never obtained insurance information and was offended that i was annoyed by this. The cocky Dr Forche sided with his staff and told me to leave but would not tell me why as i had been a patient of his for more than 3 years. He got in my face and threatened me with the police but would not tell me why he was terminating the dr patient relationship. I did nothing more than ask for a reason. I was not offensive to anyone. Try not to stand up to anyone hear less they toss you and your records out on the street. read more

Five stars for Five Points Eyecare! I'm new in town, but not new to spectacles and contacts. I really enjoyed my visit to the Five Points Eyecare office. The staff was friendly, helpful, and thorough in all aspects. I felt they really listened to my concerns about my vision, and my quirky needs, and explored all of my options in vision correction. They also discovered my last pair of lenses were made poorly, which is why I was having so much trouble. I had a lot of fun trying on frames with Nate and Katie. They were very honest about what styles and frames fit my face. Katie got excited when she realized I liked the more avant garde styles. Both were very helpful in figuring out which lenses would work best for me. I'm refitting some older frames with newer lenses and was thrilled to know that they order the lenses and then cut them to fit the frames onsite, so I didn't have to give up my vision for a week. read more
