The mechanic recommended an upsell for a $250.72 Air conditioning Test (which showed no leaks), $63.14 for the Cabin Filter Service, and $206.93 for the Premium Cooling System Service. My mileage was at 74490. Since I have used them in previous years, I decided to trust them. Fast forward, and I try using my AC only to find that the first three settings on my fan no longer work. Zero air comes out on setting 1, 2, and 3. It will only emit air when on the highest setting. Prior to this "service," my fan worked perfectly. I tried submitting a contact form about this, but did not receive a response. I scheduled an appointment today with them to check the fan to see if something was just not put back correctly, and low and behold there is suddenly a leak that will cost an addition $980 just for the parts! Even though I have driven my car less than 1000 miles (my current mileage is 75241) since the appointment. They didn't even look at my fan, even though that was what I brought my car in for. Edit: I had another local mechanic take a look at my car. They confirmed that there was NO leak and replaced the fan on my car for $182 total. HTek is a total joke - save your money and go somewhere else instead!

My girlfriend and her family have been getting vehicles serviced with them for many years and never had a problem. They may have hired less experienced people or maybe a change in management. Whatever the case may be, we aren't satisfied and don't have the resources to pay for a vehicle that isn't repaired properly, especially when it's the same exact problem.

Time passed and I never found the time to get to it. The rear brakes started making noise so I decided just to take it in. I called for an appointment and told them I wanted an oil change, brake fluid change and the rear brakes done. I told them I had the brake parts and the lady on the phone said they could not warranty it if they used outside parts and I said fine, that's OK and made the appointment. I showed up the day of my appointment and brought someone to give me a ride home. When I told them I had the brake parts they told me "we don't install outside parts" . If they had told me that on the phone I would not have wasted everybody's time. I went to Carpenters automotive instead and they had no problems doing the work.
