My husband and I stay at Poor Farmers often. I highly recommend this place, and I'm very picky…read more Out in the country with gorgeous views, And only 15/20 minutes to Piqua and Troy. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. They ARE very pet friendly, (we have two cats and a dog) you just have to clean up after your pets and keep them on a leash. The bathrooms are clean and air-conditioned. The grounds are very well maintained and they have pump out service for a small fee (if you get a site that doesn't have septic) and RV service and repair. They installed our new air conditioner and did a fantastic job. They also have fun events here. We will be staying here every time we come to Ohio. Don't be fooled by a poor review. This park is awesome. You should definitely check it out.

To the service clowns at Poor farmers,…read more I would like to thank you for your poor service you did to our camper but I can't but I would like to remind you of the return call we got from the so called manager. We are adults here and know that a new camper does not get damaged all by itself! We trusted you to do a job professionally and you failed miserably. Yes we are the Bauser's that had the new warranty fridge work done at your so called place of business. Did I say NEW WARRANTY WORK??? Meaning new camper!!! Us as adults are telling you that your service people messes up our camper inside wall from the fridge installation and must I remind you we are the customer! And you call us and tell us your people done nothing and there is nothing you can do about it??? Us being the customer and knowing we have a new product with no problems with our camper when we let you have it to work on it an now we have damaged walls done by your people. Do you understand this now or do I need to say it again? Now I do know personally some others that have had their campers also messed up by your place of business. Does this sound like a rerun to you also hearing if from others who trusted you??? That means that your track record is not real good on messing up campers at your business. I can also send a copy of email to corp Coachman and let them know what kind of business you are running here along with one to the BBB plus plaster a copy on facebook and Yelp. If you don't see us as honest customers of yours I promise you the next person you will hear from will be from the BBB and Coachman. This is a real shame to have to go this way to try and get through to you. I'm also sending a copy of this to some emails of mine so to make forwarding easy to all concerned party's in this. I really don't know why I'm even trying to give you a chance to make this right except this is part of the process. May I also remind you the we have your last phone message to us telling us you are not going to do anything about it. The rest is up to you how this gets handled. And you sir have a great day today. The biggest issue involved multiple off-leash dog incidents. While walking my leashed dogs one evening, we were aggressively approached by another dog that was not on a leash. I was able to pick up my smaller dog, but my larger dog had to defend herself. She has never been in a fight before and was simply protecting our pack. This was a dangerous situation that could have easily resulted in serious injury. I reported the incident to Animal Control because dogs roaming off-leash in required leash areas is unacceptable. What made the situation worse was how management handled it. The owner approached my husband and me aggressively, yelling at us to leave immediately and falsely accusing my dog of being the aggressor. She even violently shook our fence and demanded it be removed, despite other campers having fences in place. We were told to move by the next morning in December, despite being in a winterized site, which caused unnecessary stress and cost us a $40 lost deposit for a temporary site. After reviewing security footage, the owner later admitted we had done nothing wrong, but there was no apology or acknowledgment for the false accusations and threats. The park also has a major issue with inconsistent rule enforcement. After we were required to remove our fence, other campers were allowed to keep theirs in place for months. This creates an unfair environment and leaves guests unsure of what rules are actually enforced. Another ongoing issue was the frequent loud music. Music was often played loudly from nearby sites, making it difficult to relax, enjoy the evening, or have any peace at our camper. This happened often enough to become a major frustration during our stay. The condition of the property is also poor. The roads are entirely gravel and filled with potholes, especially near the entrance. When it rains or snow melts, these become large muddy puddles that make walking difficult and can be rough on vehicles. Because this is a small park, smoke from neighboring campers also becomes a problem. Marijuana smoke frequently drifted into our area, making it unpleasant to open windows or sit outside. There were continued safety issues as well, including another camper's unattended dog getting loose and approaching my dogs. The owner didn't even realize their dog had escaped, which only added to the ongoing stress. Cleanliness is another concern. Dog waste is often left around the property, creating unsanitary conditions and obvious health concerns. Overall, while the location may be convenient, the combination of aggressive management, unsafe off-leash dog incidents, loud music, poor maintenance, smoke exposure, and lack of cleanliness made this a very stressful and unpleasant stay. I would strongly encourage pet owners and families to consider these issues before booking.

Private showers with a toilet and sink. The one connected to the office is semi private. We tent camped and were on site T2. Very spacious and grass pads. So no matter the size of your tent it will fit nicely. Ours is in the photos. 13 ft in diameter. The pool, playground, jump pad etc were all in great shape and well maintained. The camp store had all the things you made want/need. Text the office and they'll deliver to your campsite even if you buy firewood. Lots of hardwood trees for shade. No raccoons or critters at night messing with your things. Quiet and peaceful environment and lots of squirrels and birds to see/watch. 40 minutes to downtown Cincinnati. Casino less than 10 miles away for those who like to gamble, premium outlet mall close by as well. Definitely will be back! The only thing I could suggest is swings for bigger kids & adults. I love to swing. lol
