My husband came back and informed me that we had to continue to wait (which took another 15 minutes) until they could find people to literally lift my wheelchair and carry me up all those stairs!!!! I was HORRIFIED !!! And EXTREMELY HUMILIATED!!!!! Not to mention I felt it to be EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, what if one of them tripped going up all those stairs, or lost their grip!!!!!! I called the number listed for the funeral home and reached a phone service instead of the actual business. I provided my name, the name of the deceased, and my phone number. The representative didn't ask the reason for my call but said a director would return it. Three hours later, I followed up and reached another agent who informed me the funeral home was closed for the day but would still pass along the message. This time, I was able to explain that I was calling about a service happening the next day. It's been 72 hours since I left those messages, and I still haven't received a response. This doesn't sit well, as communication is a major part of service when planning for a loved one. I don't have a good impression of Walker Funeral Home and would not consider using them in the future.

I cannot say enough good things about John Croxton and how much he and his family helped during an extremely difficult time. Each death was sudden and his team was very responsive, great with communication and was able to tend to our families needs. They did a nice job preparing the bodies of my relatives before we had to identify them (required, even with cremation). They have always been very accommodating, even on short notice and during inclement weather (in the middle of a snow storm). I highly recommend their expertise and trust the staff at TP White. They are empathetic and made a difficult process a little easier by handling all the details for us and walking us through each step. The Croxton family is also deeply connected to and invests in the Mt. Washington community and surrounding. They are good stewards and I prefer to spend my money with a local business that genuinely cares.
