Sac, good food options, and pet friendly. Management is a 50/50. If cockroaches are not your forte, do not move here. Save yourself the headache (I'm being so serious, it genuinely ruined my life at the apartment). Many tenants who have kids do not care whether their kids are nuisances. Parking is mid and there's literally no guest parking. Safety didn't seem like a priority there as well. Do not move here unless you have no other choice. read more

My experience at Walnut Heights has been a complete nightmare. I cannot warn people enough to stay away from this complex. Below is a small list of reasons (many more): Cockroach infested - the entire complex is cockroach infested. While they do send Pest Control, but the treatment is completely ineffective. The severity of the infestation has significantly impacted our ability to live in the unit normally. In particular, we have been unable to properly use the kitchen due to the recurring presence of cockroaches. California law requires landlords to maintain rental units in a habitable condition, and tenants have the right to withhold rent when a unit becomes uninhabitable and the issue is not adequately resolved. Due to the extent of the infestation, I was barely able to live there Dec - Jan and not able to live in the unit for the entire month of February even though I paid rent for it. The only reason why I am back is to start packing and move out. The primary reason I have decided to move out is the ongoing cockroach infestation, which the office has also confirmed is affecting not only our unit but surrounding units as well. My new lease begins on April 1, and we will not be able to access the new unit before that date. Because of this, I will need at least two days to complete the move-out process. For this reason, I requested a rent abatement equivalent to two days' rent for April 1 and April 2nd, which was refused. So after 12 years of living here and dealing with multiple issues, they refuse two days worth of rent abatement for an issue they couldn't fix? Given these facts, I am asking you to clarify why you believe it is appropriate to deny even a modest two-day rent abatement under these circumstances. Since they are unwilling to reconsider this request, then I am formally requesting reimbursement for rent paid during the period in which the unit was not habitable, specifically from December through March, when the infestation persisted despite ongoing but ineffective treatment. Additionally, I noticed that the pest control request for this issue was closed the same day we informed the office that we would be moving out. This was done without any communication confirming the issue had been resolved, even though the infestation remained ongoing. This just shows that the team does not care to fix the issue anymore since we told them we are moving out. Not only this, but the apartment tenants are extremely rude and I feel very unsafe living here. Not only are there always tenants smoking weed in the parking lot, but there have been crude messages written on the windows of dirty cars in the parking lot (I have photos but I know I can't post it here). My roommates car had her window broken into with a rock, people always park in your spot even though they are reserved. Pipes are always leaking onto people's cars. It's just a mess. In addition, this is a money sucking apartment - two years ago I was wrongfully charged over $400 and this was removed from my account once Lisa confirmed it would be removed. Just a few months ago, these same payments popped back up from 2023/2024 and I was forced to pay for it. I told them it should be removed and showed them confirmation from Lisa and I was directed to email another department, who never responded back to me. The only reason I payed it was because it was affecting my roommates credit. Lisa said it was out of her control - how is it out of her control but two years ago she had the power to remove it? Doesn't make sense. Then, after living here for 12 years, I noticed all the other apartments were getting updated except mine. New carpet, wood floors, new paint, new counters, etc - when I asked to have my apartment updated they refused. They said no - that they would only update my apartment when I moved out. Yet, every year they raised rent on me and charged me just as much as the new apartments - for a unit that had extremely dirty carpet, mismatched paint, & stained counters from the previous tenants. One time, we wanted mold removed from our bathroom and our bathtub patched up and my roommate told me the maintenance crew member told her the office wouldn't allow him to do it "unless she acted like a Karen." When I asked them to patch up paper that was coming off of the kitchen cabinets, all they did was glue it back on - which came off the very next day. On top of that, communication from the apartment is nothing but lazy and unprofessional. It takes weeks to get a response back for anything important and time-sensitive. I have yet to hear back regarding my request to receive a refund for the months the apartment was uninhabitable due to cockroach and weekly toxic material being sprayed in the apartment for over 4 months. So, you tell me - would you live here? Not only do they still owe me my security deposit back, they have yet to respond back to any other email I have sent. The Good: Pool (not always maintained), Location close to multiple schools and universities, community gym (small). The BAD: Cockaroach infested since I've moved in, window screens and doors not aligned leaving many gaps for insects to move in, the bathroom fan is litterally a fat hole through the roof where sunshine can even seep through, management isn't always helpful but they try or at least some of them do, The public parking lot is tight and competitive parking is real, your deposit is already set inside management's pockets so get ready to not get any of that back, paint job is garbage as expected but getting charged for their bad paint job is pretty scummy. Personal parking spot is small and could potentially damage your car or hood simply opening it. read more

Living at Walnut Heights has been a disaster since day one. The only reason we stayed was for the school district, but at the end of this year we are moving. The building is literally falling apart. They closed their management office in 2021 (after Covid) and never re-opened. They have no on-site security and there are transient people living on property. The company that owns Walnut Heights, Essex Properties does not take accountability for their staff and allows their property management team to refuse to do even the most basic work on site to keep the property clean and orderly. In the past year we had to stay in a hotel for two weeks after our kitchen wall, which also happens to be the exterior wall of our apartment collapsed. Yes, you read that right. It straight up fell apart and the window fell in. And it took them two weeks to fix it. Our apartment flooded three times in three years when the previous upstairs neighbors knocked over their in-unit washing machine. The parking lot is a terrible, Mt. SAC students regularly steal our parking spaces and break our gate. In the summer our pool is green half the time because they don't even have their own pool vacuum. Their "hired pool man" comes twice a week to service a community with almost 200 units. When we first moved in there were many families and it felt safe. Walnut, CA was sold as a premier place to raise the family. We hoped for a great experience. Instead, we have been faced with major plumbing issues, which are still not totally resolved, crumbling masonry, broken windows and doors and a completely negligent property management company. The pool area is disgusting in summer and has standing water on a daily basis around the outside of the pool due to drainage issues. The roaches. Oh the roaches. I treat with my own chemicals because the lame company they hire does nothing. Their products don't work, we have communicated that to management multiple times and they do not change the provider. Every time we have tried to get anything fixed they argued about it, took forever to fix it, or just haven't fixed it. If you can help it, do not move in to these apartments until they are fully renovated. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. The management team has horrible communication skills. We were not notified of being approved to move in until the day before the month. When we finally moved in the cabinet paint was coming off in the kitchen, there was mold all over the restroom sink. The master bedroom sink smelled disgusting and the pipe was clogged. They charged us 70 dollars per parking and there was NEVER any parking for visitors. They never communicated parking was a problem or we would of never moved. The laundry room is always dirty & smells like mold. My husband found a meth needle on the floor between and on another occasion a bag of weed. They really don't care to take care of this property & maintenance is overwhelmed with the work they have to do every single day. We didn't get indications on where or how to leave the keys... meanwhile they sent us two eviction notes and someone stole the things in our car including one of the keys. This place is a joke. This is one of the most disgusting apartment buildings I have ever experienced. Majority of the tenants here are so dirty and disrespectful. There is literally always trash and shopping carts everywhere, the car ports, the stairs, the laundry mat. They keep the roaches here alive and thriving. And no matter what time of the day you'll always here tenants screaming and yelling. If you're looking for a decent place to rest your head at night after a long day of work definitely look elsewhere cause you're not gonna find it here. I recently moved in and I can't express how happy I am with my new place, pool, gym and laundry rooms. Let me say the office staff is amazing. I worked with some of the girls Paige Lisa, Candi and Yvette but Teresa was who helped me the most, she was the Bomb, all very helpful and informative. Maintenance Andres and Marcus were quick and efficient, got the job done. The area is great, easy access to freeways and great trails to hike/walk/run. I look forward to my next year living here. I been working with this wonderful lady name Trish. I been trying to get into the apartment since the end of November beginning of December. She was very helpful determined to help me get in. Even with obstacles coming my way. After 4 months of trying to get into a 2 or 3 bedroom. I finally moved in to an 3 bedroom and I'm so happy about it :). If I could give zero stars I would. We were scheduled to move in July 15th, 2022. I set up all my utilities and paid rent for July including all the other fees. The manager called me a few days later telling me that there has been a roach infestation in our unit and they need time to fumigate it. I understood and let them have the time they needed. They set a new date for July 22,2022. Fast forward, I call them on the morning of the 22nd Hoping to get my keys. They told me that they still needed to inspect it and would call me later. 2 hours later they call me saying there are still roaches and need to do more treatments. I found out that the roach problem was not only from the previous tenants but that ENTIRE BUILDING. It doesn't matter if they fumigate weekly because the people who live there are uncleanly and nasty. They leave trash everywhere, it's always noisy because of kids running around. And the kids leave candy wrappers and messes everywhere. It is now August 2, 2022 when I am writing this and we still have not moved into our apartment. They offered us to stay in a 2 bedroom ( we are 3 people) and we would have to pay a daily rent until they fix our original unit. They have broken our lease contract 2 times already. Do not move in here, it is not worth it. Find a better apartment with proper management. The only happy memory I have about this place was the day I moved out a month later. Unequivocally the worst place and environment my family and I have had to endure. I urge anyone thinking of moving/staying here to reconsider. Here's why; 1) Security - almost every single door or gate, be it the entrance to the limited parking area to the entrance to the closest supermarket is propped open with a rock, brick or a shopping cart, which leads me to my second point.... 2) Shopping carts EVERYWHERE - with a supermarket extremely close by, many, MANY residents bring back shopping carts and just leave them everywhere. The 'management' do absolutely nothing to rectify this, much like they do nothing to remove the shopping cart used to prop open the door/gate to the parking area, much like they do nothing to ensure all residents have a clicker to open the gate, thus removing a need to have a shopping cart there in the first place! 3) Trash is left everywhere. It appears people simply do not care. As a result, there is garbage left all over the place. Worse still, 'management' does not clean with any urgency, meaning empty bags, bottles, overflowing trash cans are left for days. 4) Little respect from residents. I have unfortunately witnessed residents urinating around the dumpster areas on multiple occasions, loud music being played at all times, day or night. There is much marijuana smoking, which while legal WITHIN homes, here its outside, permeating into non-smokers residences and those with young children. 5) Dog feces everywhere, dog disposal bins left either full and or without bags for days. Be careful where you step! 6) Safety - There are members of a motorcycle club, the M_____s living here. Google them to find out about their drug trafficking, gun running, murder and more. To put it simply, would you want your kids in their proximity? 7) During the summer the inadequate and outdated air conditioner broke, it took many months to replace, and when done so we were told it was temporary - there were large gap not filled around the edges, they never were completed. We were finally able to get out, but as a final aside we received a call asking for a return of the keys. I apologized and explained that seeing as there would be new tenants, the locks would be changed...I was informed that they do not replace the locks after a tenant leaves....... wow! So, to recap - stay away, there are better, cleaner, tidier, more professionally run places. Avoid! read more

I come to visit my girlfriend here quite often and I can honestly say that this place is one of the worst apartments I've ever been to in my entire life. If not the worst. There's always garbage laying on the ground in the middle of the complex. There is weed being smoked at the Community pool around children, and i've seen roaches inside the apartment because of how dirty it is with there being no clean up from anyone that works there or lives there. Parking spots are very small so you're likely to get your car door hit. And I have seen my girlfriend cry over how poor management is and how fake they are when they say they are going to help but nothing gets done. Management acts like they do you a favor by doing the absolutely that they should do when messing up, one of the managers is named Lisa and she is very fake. If you value working appliances, do not live here. If you value friendly or quiet neighbors, DO NOT LIVE HERE. I do not think I will ever be able to compare the horror of living at Walnut Heights to anything else in my life. From the constant screaming of children from dusk to dawn, domestic violence police calls almost ever week and extremely loud parking structure, it is absolutely impossible to find any peace even in the "safety" of your own apartment. The walls are paper thin, allowing every single conversation, foot step and time in the shower to be heard from the neighbors around you. I would be woken up in the middle of the night to screaming and banging on my walls and above me from careless neighbors who are on God knows what kind of drugs. The management staff does close to nothing to accommodate for your needs or fix these issues, if they even pick up or return your calls. It is hard to put into words my experience here, because I could go on to write a book at this point. After a year and a half of hell, my only advice would be to literally just stay as far away as physically possible from Walnut Heights. read more

Our fan was broken from previous tenants on both my room and our kids rooms. I submitted a request and it was taken care of in a timely manner I was very satisfied with the work that was done and on how professional and communicated the maintenance gentleman Jose was with my husband and myself very respectful and completed his work amazing I feel glad knowing that our maintenance guy Jose that helped us will be there if we were to need anything else. I won't type up a bunch of ugly words to share my disappointment, but will say to be very aware when looking at this property. I am a good tenant that pays my rent each month, and keep my kids inside for the most part. Honestly, they don't care about you. Moved in and they were so nice, I honestly shrugged off most of the Yelp reviews & /: was extremely disappointed. There's no parking outside because walnut has a no overnight parking restriction, and there's hardly parking inside or in the visitors area but when I was first looking at the apartment (I'm not from around here) I had asked if they had extra parking and they told us that you can park up the street if needed and just walk down. So I did that for a few months and then received a ticket. That's when I found out they didn't allow overnight parking in walnut/: They also start off jobs inside your apartment to fix things like leaks and don't put everything back the way it was. Our bathroom mirror has been on the flooor for a good two months even though I called a couple times to ask them to nail it back up.... also originally they had told us water & sewage was included in the rent total they were giving us and so that was fine until, they charged us for those things and then stated that even if they had said it was included we should have found on page 4 of our lease that it was charged on the side. And by the way... it wasn't on page 4. We found it on page 28. They tow the cars as soon as they have a chance to; and don't allow double parking in your own parking spot.... I understand if the cars would be to big but I noticed they have a tow warning to two cars one of them being a Honda 2k and the other one I believe a Miata (which are very small cars and fit perfectly in the one spot) I mean if you pay for your parking, I don't think it should matter if you have your cars there?? Oh and the lead in the paint??? When I moved in I asked them about the lead warning and they said it's not in the apartment but in the dirt and I asked for that in writing which they never gave to me so...... this place is just extremely bad, honestly wish I had looked for a better place but at the time I had nowhere to stay. Would leave less if I could. We weren't informed about lead based paint until after we paid all kinds of fees. When we asked for documentation that is legally required to be given if asked for, they refused to do so. They also changed move in day multiple times and would not refund holding fee even though they kept changing the date. Lastly we were told (and I have proof in writing) that parking spaces were included with the apartment. Only to be told afterward (after we paid all the fees) that we were going to have to pay an additional $840 a year just to park. Ridiculous. read more

The place honestly really went downhill in just the 1 year we stayed. We fell in love with the landscaping and the quietness of the complex. First impressions are not everything. Inputting Maintenance tickets are fast and easy thru their online tenant portal so is paying for rent. Maintenance issues are taken care of the next business day as soon as possible. They are very good with that. BEWARE: EVERYONE in the complex EVERYONE. Gets. One. Parking. Spot. ONE. That they will charge you for. Good luck if you have more than 1 car to park. Towing will not tow your vehicle if you tandem park in your one space if you move your car before 7:00AM though. Do what you want with that information. Lots of tenants are also storaging their vehicles in their 1 parking space that they are taking up space in the visitor lot for. Visitor lot says you cannot be parked for more than 48 hours but leasing doesn't care. Cars will be parked in the same spot in visitor for 2 to 3 weeks straight without moving. Also do what you want with that information. Tenants that live there are not good quality people. They don't pick up after their dogs. POOP EVERYWHERE in the grass! And also tenants letting their kids run wild around the complex with no supervision. They're running around on every floor balcony zipping past other tenants doors and shaking all the upper floors as they stomp very loudly past. They're playing or taking up space on all the stairwells and playing and, swinging, and hanging from stair railings. They're throwing balls and playing catch in the major walkways while other tenants are just trying to walk outside to throw out their trash. They throw food all over the cement floors and my dog got sick picking something up she shouldn't have. Tenants are hanging clothes over the railing balconies on the upper floors to dry their clothes and leasing doesn't care. Tenants are smoking marijuana on our floor every day because it always smells like weed every day and every hour of the day I walk by their doors. Tenants in the back of the complex always arguing at 2:30am. Some dudes girlfriend yelling at him for 4 hours into the morning screaming and waking everyone up. Dude is cheating on you girl. Leave him. Every tenant seems to have SO MUCH drama. Why am I always waking up at 7am on a fricken SUNDAY to bloodcurdling screaming and crying from someone that lives next to the laundry room Speaking of laundry room: ptenants will leave their clothes in the washer and dryers for days or hours at a time. No courtesy for others trying to use. There is also A PANTY THIEF in the complex. Ladies watch your laundry. All of mine was stolen. The person that had that thief as a room mate knew who it was and didn't want to snitch their room mate out. Complex is full of loud college kids being rude to my dog because she barked at them one time they caught her off guard. They also party at the pool very loudly during the summer time ROACHES.ROACHES.ROACHES Luckily pest control is on top of it but it can't be helped. There's just so many roaches in every apartment. Just talk to the other tenants. Utilities: trash pickups are scheduled every day that bill is split among all tenants. Water is not individually metered for every apartment. You are paying the water bill for vacant apartments. And also sharing the water bill cost with all other tenants in the complex. It's in your leasing agreement. Read your entire lease. If you are not in a rush to move, HARD PASS on this place. Once January came around and we had 4 months left on the lease we started counting down the days and started hunting right away. Thanks for coming to my ted talk. Edit after seeing Walnut Heights response: Hi Lisa, I'm a Community Manager, and soon to be a Community Lead on the industrial/commercial level. I would be damned if any of my 8 facilities that I manage on a daily basis went into horrible conditions like this complex has. No one needs to reach out to community that is never onsite to be able to see and know these complaint-worthy things are happening. If your Community Associates would take a walk around the complex a few times throughout their shift they will know immediately what's happening if they took notice to these things if they were ever present. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that people weren't picking up after their pets seeing how much excrement is on the grass that children play in, and it doesn't take a degree to figure out that kids are throwing food all over the concretes and tenants aren't moving their cars in the visitor lot. Thank you for trying though. Fortunately, I am also in the same professional position as you to understand that a lot of these things are not in Community's control, and I truly sympathize. But these issues also could have been tackled over the course of 1 year if community associates simply did their job. Thank you for trying though. read more

Wow! Have you seen this place?! When you pull into the driveway and walk into the leasing office, you feel like you've walked into a luxurious place! They really take care of the first visual of the complex. The leasing office is remodled and up to date, they really put some money into it. Don't be fooled by the appearance of the leasing office though. The appartment complex is old. They slap some paint on the walls and in the tub/shower. This latex paint in the showers collects mold and mildew easily, is hard to clean, and peels up easily. The sinks smell horrible. The building is poorly insulated, freezing during winter months, and hot as hell during the summer. The parking is a nightmare. One assigned parking space behind a remote-accessed gate, that is often broken and left open. Not very many guest parking spaces available if you have more than one vehicle or have a guest over. The city does not allow over-night parking on the streets either. There are several Mt. SAC students that live on the property. They are loud and rowdy. They throw parties with underage drinking and illegal drug use, and cops are always being called to the complex. Now to the WORST part of this apartment complex. It is riddled with rodents. There is a large, unmaintained field right behind the complex. I'm sure the mice are coming from there. There are rodents all over the facility and IN the apartments as well. AT LEAST 10 apartments have had rodents in them. I've caught 6 different mice in my own apartment over the last 4-5 months. Essex Property Management is a joke. They set sticky traps and slapped up some drywall over a few holes (which the mice can chew right through). The sticky traps are inhumane (the mice die a slow death of dehydration). I've come home or woken up to loud squeeking. Makes it hard to sleep at night when you know these pests are roaming around your apartment, with various diseases, and getting into your things and food. I've never had to deal with such a disgusting and disturbing living situation. The management does not even have much sympathy for the situation. Why would they? Its not like the mice are in THEIR homes... ridiculous. This place is a health hazard and the city needs to shut them down. In addition, they will raise your rent significantly when your lease is up. Very nice neighborhood. Great place to live if you go to Mt.Sac cuz it's right across the street, and I can easily walk to Stater Bros for groceries or the nearby fast food places for a quick bite to eat, but the parking is TERRIBLE!! You only get one spot for your car so if you have two or more cars it is a constant battle to find parking. There is barely any visitor parking and if you park in the future resident parking, your car will get towed during business hrs. (Happened to my brother twice) you cannot park on the streets on weekdays until 10pm but then cannot park at all weekdays/weekends on the street 2am-4am or you'll get a ticket. so that means if you can't find parking in the little lot then you're screwed. It is a nice place to live, and the rooms are spacey but parking kills it. I can't wait til my lease is up so I can move! read more

I've lived here for a year and let's just say I couldn't wait to move out after a couple months of living here. I'd like to apologize for the long review but I want to open your guys' eyes to what it's really like here and how much I would not recommend anyone living here. Let's discuss the pros cause those are actually not bad. The location is right next to Mt Sac and less than a mile away from Cal Poly so it's great for students. In terms of food there's Stater brothers grocery store and dollar tree within walking distance and there's plenty of restaurants you can easily walk to. Now let's cover the Cons because they far out way the pros. So at the beginning they give us a key for the laundry room which I later found out doesn't do anything. Laundry room closes and opens at a certain time and the key is useless. Parking as everyone keeps says really is bad. Each apartment is given 2 spots. This makes no sense because many of the residents here are students. Students living together means roommates and each roommate is going to have their own car. In an apartment with 3 people 2 will have a spot and the 3rd person will be left to stake out a visitor's spot which is rarely available. I notice that the Walnut Heights representative keeps saying there are two spots in the city of walnut where parking is available but I don't understand why that information wasn't given when we came to check out the apartment. We were told we could rent a 3rd space for $25 a month and then pay extra for another gate control. They're just trying to make money and yet the giant empty field next to the apartment hasn't been bought and made into another visitors lot. To not worry about parking far or wherever that ambiguous parking lot they keep mentioning is I wouldn't mind paying a little extra a month to rent a space in that lot. They could easily make a couple hundred a month renting parking spots in the field if they made it into another parking lot. This parking issue isn't just for residents. The staff don't even have a space to park their cars when they come for work. Maintenance and office staff end up parking illegally behind resident's cars or in the fire emergency lane. How is that safe? I've been late to work a few times cause I have to go find who in the staff was responsible for parking behind my car in the garage and then wait for them to come move their car. Unacceptable. Due to the limited space there's been many times where I've come home to find someone in my spot with a piece of paper telling me to contact them to move their cars so they don't get towed. When I first moved in I had been told I could get put on a waitlist to rent a 3rd parking spot if there were any open. I waited a whole year to get contacted and didn't hear a peep from the office. Now I mentioned the location is good for students right? Well maybe it's too good cause there are definitely a lot of them. Many occasions I come home from school or work and I can smell weed as I walk through the apartments. Can I also stress that families live here with their kids. I've seen a few kids wander around the parking lot stoned or high sitting on the trunks of people's cars. I know it's not theirs cause they're always in different parts of the parking lot and we have assigned parking spaces. Another thing I noticed is that there are always shopping carts lined by the parking garages. I don't know if they're student residents putting them there or families but they're always strewn about with trash in them. Having student residents also means I can hear some guy always arguing with his girl on the phone outside my apartment. Dude if you're always so angry break up already. I've heard guys arguing with each other about eating each other's food and playing loud music in the evenings like a parking lot party where they leave all their trash in the shopping carts. (I'm pretty sure there's an apartment with a whole football team in there) This place also does not have anywhere to throw away recyclables in case you're trying to save the planet. Noise is also something you're gonna have to get use to in order to live here. If I understood Chinese I'd know what my downstairs neighbors were always arguing about. I can hear the husband snoring at night and the baby's cries and wife's yelling always come together, not a pleasant combination. I've called the courtesy number for noise complaints and nothing was changed. I was given my itemized bill from the apartment a couple days ago stating the costs to prepare the apartment for the next residents and it was a large amount. I noticed one of the items on the list of possible charges was for a paint job. There's so many layers of paint on the cabinets and drawers that they stick together and when they peel due to use you can see the previous layers of paint! If you can find a better place I wouldn't recommend living here EVER read more

I've lived in this complex for over a year now and have had nothing but horrendous experiences. Between the unwilling staff and constant disturbance from fellow neighbors it has been a sheer nightmare to live here. The neighbors are extremely loud and the police are called to the property weekly due to domestic violence, child abuse situations, and other disturbances. The staff is very unresponsive and does not intervene or set any type of standards for the property whatsoever. I would not recommend this complex to my worst enemy. read more

I was reading the previous reviews and I completely agree with them. I did not experience the mice issue, maybe because we are on the 2nd floor, but the parking here sucks! There is no where to park. The front office does not even have a place to park, they will park illegally behind people in visitors. Do not park on the street because the city does not allow any street parking and you will be towed or get a ticket. There are always other people parking in your assigned parking spot. They leave a note on their car apologizing for parking in your spot and give an apartment number if you need them to move their car. This is stupid!!! They shouldn't have been parking there in the first place. People are on a schedule and do not need this type of stupidity. Just the other day, a car was vandalized and was missing their side view mirror. The side view mirror was sitting a few feet away from the car. It completely looked like some drunk person wanted to see how tough they were by popping off that side view mirror. Stupid drunks! I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate it if that happened to their car. I wonder how management will handle this situation???? (probably nothing and say that they are not responsible to anything that happens to their car) The previous reviews were written a few years ago. There is a review written in 2011 complaining about the parking spots and there still hasn't been any changes. Management needs to try something or think a little harder. DON'T MOVE HERE, unless you have more than 3 years of patience about parking and you don't mind anything happening to your car. Just don't live here if you have a better choice, really. I've lived there for couple years. I moved out last year, and I just wanna do this late review to help people make their choice. The apartment is just too old. It's crazy hot in summer, especially on the second floor. the AC is really sucks, old and doing nothing but making a lot of noise. Trust me, this single problem will drive you crazy in the summer. And this is not the only problem. Parking is terrible, there is not enough place for parking, and there's always visitor park on the side and block you in or out. You can spend 30 mins just for getting into your own signing parking lot. And yes, the mice problem is true. You will definitely having fun with mice, fly, and cockroach here. And finally, the people. There are a lot of college kids here and make sure you're ready for this. I can hear my neighbor having sex, talk on the phone, fight with his girlfriend, shout to his dog, and listen his rap music in midnight. I saw people sit on the stair and enjoy their weed in evening. I've seen college kids getting drunk and fight in the parking lot. Honestly, staff here are nice. At least make sure who is your neighbor before moving in. Or, you might have to hear your neighbor having sex at least few times a week and listen your neighbor's party music in the midnight frequently. Good luck. read more
