The lunches were awful. I've seen, bitten, and smelt many gross things at lunch. Only actual good…read morething they served was Popcorn chicken. Teachers are awesome, many of them looking out for their students. Principals we've had were alright. Some parts of the school are a tad-but rundown, roaches and rats sometimes run around in the halls or classrooms. The classes are great, despite what other students would say. We learn way more here than at many other schools. Despite what many people say, regarding the school as something they despise, I really loved it here, especially my Senior year. Most students were friendly, could make friends with just about anyone. I'd say that might change though, as the newer generations and freshmen keep getting worse by the year. But yeah, it was a very nice school.

For the most part I am very happy with MISD. But this year I get a call from some teacher that said…read moreshe would be my sons school teacher. Told her no we made a request for a certain teacher. Counselor called me she said the principle told her to call me. I told I talked to the assistant principal and she said she would make sure that since teacher and student new each other and that the teacher new what is happening in our family that we would have her. Well another thing that mountain peak school fails to do. In the past I have told them to check my son for dyslexia. Told them that when he was in 1,2,and 3 grade. Finally in the 3rd when he had Mrs Poland and Mrs Burke herd me and saw what I was saying. She started to the process to get him tested. Then the principal called me today and used some of the same excuses that the counselor tried to use. Which was that the teacher that was helping some of the other children that had the same issues as William was also in that teacher room and she wanted them all in the same room. I told her so what I made a certain request for a certain reason and that is that. She told me that I would just have to have her as my teacher. Well we will see what happens.

We have our youngest enrolled and she has loved it. It's full of worship and educational enrichment…read moreand the staff there are amazing.
