I know many wonderful professors that go to SAGU and if you are wanting to go into ministry or music or maybe even film then this a good school for that. The communities can be very close knit here and they have a few great amenities like the wellness center. All that said, I will never be attending SAGU for a variety of reasons. Although they've become more lenient through the years, the rules and restrictions at SAGU are insane. There is no room for personal choice or responsibility and that is important and healthy for kids to be able to exercise their own free-will. But SAGU doesn't want that because they'd rather appease their idealistic board and uninvolved sponsors who are all 55+ in age. They also continue to spend money on things that make them look really fancy but don't really help the students that are already there. Like thousands of dollars on another Jesus statue. The worst of it is things you won't here about unless you're actually on campus and happen to meet someone involved in SAGU's many and frequent scandals. Not allowing students to walk for a variety of unscrupulous reasons. Pressing rules harder on kids with scholarships but turning a blind eye to kids who are having their tuition paid in full. Assault that was covered up to protect the image of the school. I think the biggest problem with SAGU or me is how they value their image so sacredly that its at the expense of their students. The dramatic cases put aside, you cannot justify the strictness of this school and this model is not just old-fashioned but obviously not working. When you care so much about wether you're students are playing COD or if they put a Drake song on their instagram story but then you ignore when there are much worse problems that you just don't want to face. If you go to SAGU you will find a community and you will get the connections needed for ministry or worship for sure. Every one of my friends who graduated SAGU has found a full-time position at a church, good friends, and some even a spouse. Just be prepared for some very high and dubious standards that will hopefully continue to fall away as the years go by.

We chose Andrea after a very in depth discussion over the phone and much prayer! The Lord literally put Andrea in our path to take us all on the journey of a lifetime! We were told it typically takes 1-2 years for a birth mom to match with a family .... It took us 2 weeks!! What an incredible blessing!! And what a blessing to have had Andrea walk us through each and every piece! She is truly a gem on this earth and I became a mama with the Miracle of Adoption of our baby boy! I honestly would choose Andrea again when or if the Lord decides to bless us again!! Thank you Andrea, for the best thing that could have ever happened to me, my life, and our family!!

He absolutely loves going to school every morning and adores his teachers and the staff. They adore him even more! Everyone is so welcoming. You can tell that this is a loving environment and that they truly care about and for the kids. I know that when I leave my son in the morning, he is in great hands. They truly feel like my extended family and I'm grateful to have them in my son's life. This isn't just a daycare. They actually teach from a curriculum. My son knows his alphabets, numbers, shapes, and phonetic sounds of the alphabets. This is truly the place to send your kids to prepare them for grade school. They learn social skills and get a jumpstart on their education. I'm so glad that I stepped out on faith and enrolled my son here. No regrets whatsoever.
