This review is for the associates at the Automotive tire & lube center. Brought my tires/wheels/lug nuts I purchased online for my truck and had them balance and mount them. The manager was super laid back and was dealing with a couple guys who called out sick, but they made the best of it. Work was professionally done at a price that is impossible to complain about. The automotive department in this store could really use a lot of work. Each time I go here for a oil change I tell myself not to come back. The people behind the counter don't know what they are doing, other workers constantly have to step in and help out. It shouldn't take 20 mins+ while my ride is waiting just to drop off my car for an oil change. I actually shouldn't even have to drop off my car, but they always take over an hour. When I questioned why this is taking so long they claim to be short staffed. I've heard that excuse each time, I will never be back. read more

In a rush after traveling back and forth to Santa Rosa for surgery and follow up medical care we hadn't taken time to get our oil changed, so we decide we need to do a little shopping at Walmart anyway so lets get the oil changed while we do that. Long story short they tried to close the hood of my car with the wand still up. Duh. They used such force that it dented my hood from underneath. We didn't notice the dent right away so when I called they said they would review the video of that day and see if it happened there. I called back 2 days later and was told the video had nothing on it. So I asked for a copy, they said it went to the attorney. I called the attorney he told me there was no video. I called the store back about the lie about the video and was told that Angel. who told me he was the manager in the service department. could not have reviewed the video any way because he was not a manager. Lie upon lie. I figure Angel did it himself and was covering it up. $2,600 in damages. When I went back to the service department to show them the damage done there. Angel came out, first thing out of his mouth is "where is your husband?" That car is in my name I paid for it with my wages, He has a lot of nerve. This review is for the tire center, not the rest of the store. I went in to get my oil changed, and it was a terrible experience. First, I parked in the line behind the lifts, and no one came out to my car like the usual places I get my oil changed. Meanwhile, two of the guys working by the lifts were just staring at me. After a few minutes, I walked toward the office. As I was walking, some other guy on a forklift started screaming at the guys in the tire shop because some cars were parked in his way. The tire guys started laughing at him, and said they were on their break and couldn't do anything. Once inside, I had to wait in a long line for fifteen minutes to even order the oil change. Overall, I'd rather pay a bit more money and go somewhere else...these people are so unprofessional. I don't trust them at all. read more

I just called to ask about getting an oil change and this woman answered and asked me to hold. She set the phone down and I could hear her just chatting with her coworkers for about 8 minutes, I thought it was kind of funny so I didn't hang up. I give this place four stars. Is this a great place to shop? Not when it's busy. Is the quality of products superb. Nope. But for a wal-mart...absolutely. That is what I compare it to, other wal-marts. Against that standard, the wide parking lot, expanded layout of the store, and location makes this place just great. Is the customer service great...oh wait this is wal-mart. I don't expect anything special, and my expectations are met, and then surpassed by everything outside customer service. Service average, quality average, selection average, but the other things I said makes it above average. No groceries? Oh wait it's wal-mart with its cheap, cheap, cheapness. I wish I could give subzero stars. I always walk away from this store with at least one betta fish, because my heart breaks for the conditions in which they live. This store has little regard for living creatures, and actually had several containers of bettas stacked on top of each other by the sink, just waiting to die. They leave aquariums unlocked, and on my last visit, I saw children splashing their hands in the fish tanks. Nobody actually cleans the tanks, causing completely PREVENTABLE deaths. It's a crapshoot whether the fish you buy there will live or die. I have been an avid Walmart shopper and SPENT thousands here, but I'm boycotting you guys now until you leave the aquatic sales to the professionals, and I will have my associates do the same. I contacted the Windsor CA tire shop this morning for four truck tires for mounting. They said to bring the truck in at 230pm and would take about 2 hours. I returned at 515pm and my truck was still parked right outside their bay. I talked to the manager on site and he said they would get right to it about one hour. I went to have dinner and returned one hour later. Truck never moved. Talked to the manager and he said they were going to get to me right now so I went and shopped in the store for another hour. Returned to the shop and my truck was still parked where I left it at 230pm in the afternoon. Only giving it one star because I have to. read more

I was in Walmart last Sunday, what a mistake that was! From start to finish it was the worst experience I have ever had in a store. This whole store , including the staff, is as unorganized and chaotic as anything I've ever seen. Its clear that they are understaffed, but most of the employees did not seem to a damn about any of the customers. We were in a line of around 10 people, there were only 2 check stands open, there was also a line at the self check out. I don't use self checkout because I don't work there! But I was forced to that day. The lines were not moving and the man at one of the registers was yelling frantically at all of the people in the lines to go to the self check out or they were not going to get out of there for quite a while! Even threatening that if we didn't that he would go slower! None of us could bel our ears. From now on I will be going to target of ordering online, which has also been nothing but bad experiences lately. Walmart you need to your act together. read more

Generally okay, but don't ever try to get a price match here. The customer service staff, all the way up to the complete bitch of the manager on duty is apparently illiterate. We brought in a printed ad for a PC game from Toys'R'Us, and after a five minute debate with the MOD, walked out pissed off and empty handed. I went in to get the battery on my vehicle replaced, and was told that it would take about 45 minutes or so. Came back an hour later and my vehicle is just sitting there with a gaping hole where my new battery should be, and some kid (employee) kicking around a cart inside the auto area. Tried to figure out what was going on and three bobble heads all couldn't figure it out. Then they lost my key. Then one of the guys couldn't operate the register. Completely incompetent service. This is like a dream come true: A place to rant about WalMart. Where to begin? Like most WalMarts I've been in,the Windsor store is dirty,poorly laid out,and staffed mostly by poorly trained people who hate their jobs. I can't imagine a more depressing place than the interior of a WalMart. The place is lit up like a prison exercise yard. Aisles are too narrow. And much of the stuff they sell,especially the clothes,is nothing but garbage.(I like the bumpersticker that reads "WALMART,YOUR SOURCE FOR CHEAP PLASTIC CRAP"). Oil change: I was quoted an hour and a half to two hours max and it took two and a half hours. I asked for a discount for taking an hour to a half an hour too long and the manager who quoted me wouldn't come out and talk to me. When I asked for an assistant supervisor, the manager pulled in the assistant supervisor before I could talk with her and she refused to consider the situation as out of the ordinary. They offered that "it could have taken only a half of an hour but not done a good job" and This didn't help. I never really shop at Walmart and now I never plan to. This is perhaps the most poorly run Walmart location I have ever visited. This store is in desperate need of a management overhaul. Everything from product availability, cashier productivity and customer service, to simply answering the telephone when the store receives a call are all poorly underperforming. Have not been here in a while. I was appalled. Starting in the parking lot, which was filthy. Garbage everywhere, you have to be careful what you step on...it looked like a third world country, I am not exaggerating. The store was also dirty. Merchandise out of place, especially in the cleaning supplies area. Items were not where they should have been so finding stuff was difficult. Many shelves were empty except for a few items, which did not belong on those shelves anyway. Once at the checkout, where people did not keep proper distance, I was told that the entire store ran out of shopping bags...I had many small items in my cart. I had been in line for a while as the entire store only had two checkers. I bought the items anyway as I wanted to get it over with. Definitely not ever going back, to any wal mart. I would rather pay a bit more but not be surrounded by filth and utter disorganization. I lived in Europe for two decades, any store like this one would have been shut down by the health department. read more

I took my car in for tires and oil change service before leaving Windsor to drive to South Lake Tahoe, I waited hours for them to finish I expected it to be done and safe. They NEVER put oil in my car!!! I was leaving Tahoe with a passenger on limited oxygen and kids in the car before heading back up the mountain my engine light came on, my oil was empty bone dry. I added 5 quarts of oil I drive 4 hours home. I told Walmart and they said they would check cameras to see what happen. I just got a phone call and they are denying... I still have 100% oil in my car since I added oil in Tahoe and it's almost been a month. They can't even be honest. I will never NEVER use Walmart service again to keep my engine safe!!! read more

Funny, Walmart brings with it some of the most love- hate situations I can possibly imagine. As far as Walmarts go, this one is the best I have been in. It is cleaner than most, and yeah, it has some real drawbacks, but let's think about this... This Walmart employs more seniors than I have seen in any other. I think it is a real plus, as they need to have jobs that don't put their SS in jeopardy. Many other companies fail to see the need and benefits of hiring our precious older citizens. Walmart brings revenue to the community, and a place to get cheap Downey and Tide! I never buy things there that I could buy from a small family owned business, but if I can get toilet paper cheaper there than at Safeway, why not? I have Talked to people who say that they come all the way north to our Windsor Walmart to shop because it is so much nicer than the one near their home. This Walmart has terrible customer service and they never have very many cash registers open even when all the lines have more then 20 people waiting many times I just don't have the time to wait and hour in line so I just ditch my cart full of stuff and leave. I think they should handle their security more subtly because It feels like TSA Security and they assume every customer is a thief. (original review) There are some real bargains to be found, but you have to keep your eyes open. Many items are outrageously overpriced. This is not a "spur of the moment" last minute shopping kind of store. You really have to plan ahead and prepare to go. Shop the WalMart online store to get the best deals and pick it up an hour later. Bring your own basket or bags. I suspect the high prices are just this store though. I have to say that the employees are extraordinary people laboring for very little money. My brother worked there years ago and it sounds as though they threaten employees with unemployment. Certainly enough motivation there. The biggest problem I have when shopping there is damaged goods. You must inspect every single item that you place your basket. Many times, you find the items crushed or opened. I used to buy chocolates regularly, but I somehow kept getting melted globs in boxes or packages. Anything not thoroughly sealed runs a real possibility of having missing pieces. I would recommend staying away from the perishables. The wine is hit-or-miss. Most of the time it's fresh, but you can definitely tell when it's been sitting in a hot trailer or sun for some excess amount of time. The shopping baskets are rusting and nearly all of them have damaged wheels. I used to be embarrassed to roll the carts around the store as they would echo "Clack Clack Clack". More often than not there are long lines. It's got worse since the plastic bag ban. They charge you 10 cents, but still give you the same thin cheap bags. I would expect that for 10 cents, they could offer you a thicker, maybe garbage bag thickness bag. I think this store can do much better. read more

Traveled up to the Windsor, CA WalMart to shop early on a Sunday morning, around 8:30. Checked out with a lady named Tania. She was obviously in a rotten mood. I gave her an insulated bag for the cold/ frozen items. She didn't use it and when I asked her about it she gave me major attitude and I had to re-bag everything myself. She didn't even glance up at me through the entire transaction, then did the same thing to my sister. I believe she grunted a thank you when we left but she was on automatic and never really saw either one of us. We have been up to this Walmart once before and had a good experience. Don't think we'll be going back anytime soon. Walmart can do better than this. read more

i'd give this ZERO stars if possible. i went here to browse through the dvd's. while i was browsing i got HARRASSED by a young lady trying to sell me internet service. she came up and asked me what internet provider i had, what my name and address is, i said "LOOK, I AM NOT INTERESTED. NO THANK YOU." that should of been the end. as i continued browsing, 5 minutes later she came up and asked me the same questions. i said "you already talked to me, i am not interested." then while browsing, she kept asking about what streaming services i had, and if they had alot of movies to watch. i got so enraged i walked out of the store. i will NEVER spend another penny in walmart, amazon has all these dvds cheaper anyways. read more
