I purchased 2 prescription eyeglasses in Dec. 2024. During the wait time of maybe a week , I was…read morenotified that I needed to go back , to pick out a different frame as the lab couldn't use my prescription for the sunglasses, I guess? ( And they were designated as Rx frames.) So I'm notified that they're ready for pickup. I go in, but in fact, the glasses are not ready. Nobody knew what was going on! So I'm notified again, that they're ready. I go back again. I try them on , and I had blurred vision. Now the glasses had to go back for revision. I'm notified that they're ready, again. Although somewhat improved, I still noticed blurriness. I was frustrated with the whole thing. So I just finally accepted the revised glasses. I thought maybe I just needed to wait a bit longer, until my eyes "adjusted ." They never did adjust. I was so totally frustrated with eyeglass world. I didn't go back again. I didn't trust them. So I just dealt with it, I guess. At times, I actually took my glasses off when driving at night. I could see better without them! (And I have a driver license restriction to wear prescription glasses!) A year goes by, I have my yearly vision appointment dec. 2025. I wondered if the optometrist could check the accuracy of my current eyeglass lenses. They could! The prescription in my eyeglasses was completely wrong!! No wonder I couldn't see! I went to eyeglass world, explained the problem, showed them the printed lens evaluation from my optometrist It was confirmed..... wrong lenses! I wanted my money back. Was told that I needed to come back to talk with the manager. She did call me, left a message , that since it had been a year, there was little chance that they could give my money back. (I only have an eye exam once a year!! ) Who would think that the lenses were wrong! I never went back to eyeglass world. The point is , I bought a product that was not what the doctor prescribed. I bought a product that made my driving illegal. I was driving dangerously, risking my safety, and the safety of others on the road. I will never get glasses from them again!

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've had photos developed by them and the results are spectacular. We ordered prints from my daughter's wedding from the professional photographer who shot the event to assure high quality. We paid $300 for those prints and they were quite good. However, we found additional photos from the wedding that we needed to be quickly printed. so we sent them to Picture Perfect (Central location) They were avalable the same day. More importantly, they were better quality than those we ordered from the photographer. Absolutely impressive!

Two stars for the in-store service, no stars for the actual fulfillment of my order…read more I am so displeased with the Target Optical experience, I'm still debating on whether or not to return my glasses. I was so shocked at the poor quality of the service because I love and trust Target with my shopping experience. I buy pretty much everything from your store, and when it was time for new glasses, I thought why not check out what Target has to offer? I went in, just to browse, and I was so pleased with Donna's help and your frame selection I decided that I didn't need to shop around. I would buy glasses at the first place I walked into because it was such a pleasant shopping experience. I order my glasses and my first-ever pair of prescription sunglasses from Donna on April 3rd, and I was told it would be about 10 business days before the glasses would come in, though it could be earlier. I also opted for the protection plans on both pairs. I was pretty excited; I've had the same beat-up pair of glasses for about three or four years now (I know, right?). So I got the text message that a pair of glasses had come in on April 4th. I called the optical department, because I wanted to know if it was my regular glasses or the sunglasses. I wasn't going to rush over for the sun glasses, but I would if I could replace my current jacked-up frames. The guy on the phone assured me that they were my regular lenses and ready for pickup. It was too late that day for me to make there, but the next day I showed up only to find whoever I'd spoken to had not actually checked which pair they were. I had driven out of my way and rearranged my whole day just to pick up my sunglasses. Mistakes happen, I get it. But it was frustrating, and it is still more frustrating considering what happened next. On April 13th, I received a call from Cort at Target Optical telling me not only were they unsure which pair of glasses I had picked up, my order had been bungled so badly that the lab cancelled the order. Cort was gone for the day when I called, but the girl I spoke with explained that she wasn't sure exactly what had happened or what was going on other than I needed to place the order again if I wanted glasses. I wanted to cancel the order, but I did need new glasses. I figured I could place the order and find a place with better customer service and return these. What I found especially frustrating was they only figured this out EIGHT business days after I'd placed my order. Nothing was mentioned when I was in the store four days prior. And there was nothing they could to do to expedite my order or compensate me for the trouble, even after I expressed my disappointment and displeasure. These were a gift to myself for my birthday, and I ordered them with the express purpose of receiving them before my birthday. When my glasses finally came in April 19th, I expressed my displeasure to the sales person, who gave me free cleaning spray and a cleaning cloth for my trouble. I feel that at the very least, the cost of my protections plans should have been refunded, but that was never mentioned. So I won't be shopping for glasses at Target Optical in the future, and I will be leaving this review everywhere I can.
