My husband and I have been going to Dr. Jennifer Carr for over 5 years for our yearly eye exams, and I highly recommend her. She is extremely friendly, as well as thorough, and takes time to explain and answer any questions. I've never felt like I was being rushed to leave. When I had a cataract she helped me have the best vision possible until it was ready for surgery, and when the time came for surgery, she referred me to an excellent surgeon. I wouldn't even consider going to a different optometrist. We have also purchased several pairs of glasses there, and the opticians are very helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and patient with picky (and sometimes indecisive) customers like me. read more

The staff is knowledgable, polite and seem concerned that you enjoy your visit. Dr. Branstetter is very competent and puts you at ease right off the bat. This is an excellent place to go for eye care needs. The office is always clean, equipped with modern well maintained equipment, and the staff is friendly and courteous. I have a pair of glasses called Try Change that I can change the stems and nose piece according to what I'm wearing. I LOVE them, but the company went out of business and I thought I'd have to get a new pair of glasses after investing a LOT of money in different stems. But Chrissy had the forsight to order as many parts and stems as she could before they went out of business. She fixed my glasses!! I'm one happy patient! read more

In terms of any health oriented experience (medical clinic, dentist office, optometrist office), my experiences with this office is the best I have ever had. (And, I don't believe I have had "bad" experiences with any office.) My interaction with every person in this office has been outstanding. All the staff has been very friendly, upbeat, and excellent in their area of expertise. Dr. Laura Branstetter is very personable, friendly, and professional. I appreciate her thorough examinations. I had my annual eye exam at this office today (my 1st time here), and all I can say is Wow! I've never had such a thorough eye exam in my life! The appointment lasted about 2 hours (I don't think I've ever had an exam last more than 30 minutes), but they tested everything imaginable and seemed to actually care about my eye health and vision. The whole staff was very friendly and informative. I had been experiencing a "floater" in one eye, and Dr. Carr gave me a mini class, complete with visual aids, on what causes that and what problems to watch for.
