We had to make 4 different visits (all worth the trips) while in Orlando so they could monitor the eye and ensure it did not get worse and was healing properly. They were very thorough and communicated with our player's eye doctor back in KY. If you you are in Orlando, and have an eye issue (which I hope you don't), I would highly recommend Dr. Marx and Dr. Nevada and their team at Southwest Orlando Eye Care! 5 !

During a confirmation call, I was told I wasn't eligible for a contact appointment, despite having had one last September and being overdue. After some clarification, I realized they meant my insurance wouldn't cover another pair of frames yet, not that I couldn't have an appointment or purchase something out of pocket. That distinction should have been explained clearly from the beginning. Unfortunately, getting what I need between appointments has already been a recurring struggle, and this interaction was the final straw. I never made it to see the new doctor, so I can't comment on their care, but the front office experience was enough for me to take my business elsewhere. It's especially disappointing because I genuinely liked this practice and had recommended it to others. I can no longer do that.

Florida Eye Clinic Dr Marcy is always very thorough in doing exams and provides me with what I need to have optimal vision. The Clinic has about a two-week turn time to receive contact lenses, which are available for pick up in the office, or for an additional fee, lenses can be shipped directly to home or business. Once or twice I did have to come in on an emergency when my Dailies clear contact lenses ripped apart and I needed to have the piece removed. [Obviously, I can't see to remove it myself]. Those procedures cost me about $100 each occasion, but worth it. I look forward to my next appointment because I know I am in good hands for my vision.
