Unable to find them, we called around for an optician and found Queen City. They were able to take our replacement order over the phone, asked me to text a copy of the prescription (which thankfully we had with us) and then drive in the pouring rain to Springfield. Within a hour we got to the store, picked out frames and then waited just 15 more United to get complete glasses. They were literally faster than the McDonald's next door! Great service and great expertise. Highly recommended.

I understand that price is changed with insurance but they would zero my account out every single time on one pair of glasses. Recently they told me my glasses would be completely covered but then they told me I needed $47 to get my glasses for $57 to have the mail to me and I live in the same city. The glasses that I got in August last year are missing rhinestones and when I tried to push the thing of the bridge of my nose the glasses broke in half. They will not replace the frames. Which are a cheap pair manufacturer product with inflated prices. I called them and told them today that because of treatment and decline in quality that I would not be coming back she said okay thank you have a nice day and hung up. I will never go back here beware

Before we dive into the specifics, know this: If you're the kind of person who doesn't mind paying…read morea little extra in exchange for great, prompt service and aesthetically pleasing surroundings, you will probably enjoy your experience with Vision Clinic. If, like some of the negative reviewers on this listing, you are shopping for a bargain, you should look elsewhere. As far as optometry services are concerned, I've clearly thrown my lot in with the former group, having been a customer here for three consecutive years. And it's not hard to see why: the staff run one of the tightest ships I've ever seen, with a wait time that never exceeds 10 minutes, and the wait itself is made more pleasant than usual by the comfortable surroundings of their visually impressive offices. That said, I have never purchased frames from their opticians for precisely the reasons mentioned by other reviewers - the same quality is available elsewhere at a far lower price. That holds true for contacts as well, BUT if you need some in a pinch, there's a good chance Vision Clinic will have them in stock, whereas their competitors often have to order them, which obviously means more waiting. It's a truism of our time that convenience and pleasant experiences often come at a premium, and that axiom certainly holds true for Vision Clinic. But on balance, I think you'll find that the organization's positive traits are worth their costs in the end.

I was told, yes ma'am, yep! Yes, we can do that! Absolutely. Don't get me wrong I LOVE my doctor that I see for myself as an adult but I think it's ridiculous that the staff didn't know how to work with my child. I literally had to take charge of the appt because they asked my daughter what letter is this? SHE JUST TURNED 3. Sweetie, can you tell me what this line is?? Nope, I literally took control and said can you show them where the birds are, the cake, etc. they tried taking pictures of her eyes and couldn't even do that. This appt didn't look remotely close to previous appts I have been at. I suggested multiple times, we can move forward with dilating her eyes but they weren't comfortable making her more upset. On top of that, we were referred to another doctor within the same office but didn't give the option to schedule. I had to call back and schedule. Why was I told that they could take care of the appt and walked out feeling so frustrated and upset. I still had to pay for her visit and we couldn't even get answers. Now to move forward with another Dr in the office and it's a "medical" visit and I have to pay more again when I should have gone to her in the first place. I'll come back as a patient because i love the doctor that I see but I have such a bad taste about how these tests went and how I took charge of the appt because they didn't know how to talk to my child to get the answers they need. They should have pointed us in the other direction instead of wasting our time.

It was quaint & as is customary of them all it housed quite a variety of designer sunglasses. Unlike my husband I'm just not feeling paying hundreds of dollars for a pair of sunglasses (I don't care who's name is on them). To be honest, I don't get all the frills and thrills of how they're made and what this one does or what that one has. It's just not that deep. As for the staff, the salesman was young, cool, well dressed (quite mature for his age) and carried his own unique swag. He was articulate and knowledgeable of each pair of sunglasses which is pretty impressive (seeing this isn't often the case with the younger generation these days). He wasn't overbearing and gave us our space to browse around and was available when needed. I'll sign off by saying that I know there are lots of folks that are into their shades and price is no big deal. If this is you, hey I'm not rain'in on your parade. Stop in and check out the newest and truest in the line of designer eyewear. As for me, I'll keep on steppin'.
