Even though I explained that I'd been in the hospital at the time of the appointment. They called it a no show/no call and refused to make another appointment. So, I tried this location. The doctor is not only rushed, but he's also pushy and annoying. He informed me that my verified, diagnosed health issue wasn't a real diagnosis. I've heard this many times before, so I ignored him. Along with the doctor being less than professional. LensCrafters has become ridiculously expensive. Even after insurance, my bifocals with tint cost over a grand. I won't be going back. However, the store staff were lovely and kind. I can't fault them for having a crappy employer.

Michael was so clearly not interested in doing a good job that I went to the next Lenscrafters over, they stated that Michael was known for being a problem and they'd have several complaints about him from customers switching locations to avoid him, the tech at the second Lenscrafters found the glasses as I'd requested online which including the specifications I'd asked for were $200 less than what Michael had quoted, so I cancelled the original sale and bought at the new location instead. I don't know if Michael is just completely incompetent or if he gets off on fucking over handicapped people, but either way he should be fired - bad attitude and does a bad job

During the entire examinations, everything was explained to us and any and all questions were answered without any attitude. They have a wide array of frames that are within your insurance budget and also frames that you prefer to purchase without insurance. This is great optometrist office that cater to your needs without rushing you out!! We had a great experience in this office and will recommend their services to any and everyone.

The distance in my new prescription is not correct because everything is blurry worse than my old glasses. I went back willing to pay what I needed to pay to see better with a new prescription. He did not want to do this, everytime I mentioned fixing this one he was pushing the surgery. He never one time said ok let's redo the eye exam and start over, when I realized that that is where the conversation was going I said so I am going to leave here and have spent all of this money and time and I still can not see good. He then opened the door to the exam room like ok I am done. I never yelled, cussed or raised my voice but was questioning what he had told me previously and what he was telling me today. I have spent all of this money and can not use my new glasses, I can not see well but was assured with a new prescription I would. He was not willing to even try and give me another full exam. He pushed very hard for surgery. My eyes are strained everyday, headaches, blurry vision and I trusted Dr Stewart to help me. I am so upset and have exhausted my funds to go to another Dr to start over. I am so disappointed, heartbroken, sad and frustrated....... this is my vision we are talking about. Do not go here! I've been a MyEyeDr patient for nearly 20 years. I've tried other optometrists, but truthfully, I…read morelike the way MyEyeDr does things. Their Annual Supply program for contacts and "discount" on a backup pair of glasses is probably not the most cost-effective option, but I appreciate the convenience. That said, [alleged] sketchy deals between the local optometrists and South Carolina aside, this MyEyeDr location couldn't get my left eye's prescription quite right. That's fine--my left eye has been slightly off for about a decade now. I don't fault Dr. Reid or the company for that. What's frustrating, though, is that despite my vision quite frankly not being noticeably different with this new prescription, I had to go through this whole process just to get a South Carolina driver's license. Why? Because the state requires a specific code from optometrists--something that, due to their [alleged] cozy arrangement with the state, I was forced to obtain despite passing a vision test in Georgia less than six months ago. Even that, I could have let slide. But then Dr. Reid's office gave me the wrong rebate form for my contacts. I drove all the way back only to be told they don't even have the correct form available! That is absolutely ridiculous. I left with nothing but a vague promise that they'd call their other locations to see if they could track one down. What a fucking joke. Trust is hard to build and easy to lose. MyEyeDr, let me make this perfectly clear: if I don't have the form in my email by Monday or at least an update on when I can expect it, you will have permanently lost me as a customer. I sincerely hope a ~20-year business relationship is worth enough to you to make this right.

My eyeglass frames broke. It was a hinge that was unable to be repaired. The frame was no longer…read moreavailable, but I did not want, nor need new progressive lenses. (I had purchased these elsewhere, in 2021). I went back to the place that did my lenses and they just shrugged, clearly too busy to help me and just suggested I start over from scratch with a new frame and lenses, this was a very expensive idea. I decided to drop into Visionworks on Sunday, Michael was working and not busy with customers. He took this on like a mission, to find a frame that fit these lenses. We went through every similar frame in the store and on the last row, the last option to try, it worked! And thank goodness I liked the frames! A lot, actually. I am so grateful. Michael went above and beyond to help me and I purchased the new frames. Highly recommend the frame options, customer service and pricing.
