Without the assistance provided to me I don't think I could have made the right call. About three days after my purchase I received a phone call saying my glasses were ready for pickup! Much care was given as I tried on my new glasses. Once again; no pressure to rush me out the door. This store is obviously after repeat customers! This is a great place to one stop shop! Hello to whomever it may concern…read more I would like to speak with the practice manager or owner of the Spartanburg location. Today, I am sitting in the emergency room watching my beloved grandmother take her last breaths. And was this planned? No I found out at 1am 3/12 that I may want to come to the hospital to see my grandmother for the last time. I DO NOT care if this is the second third first whatever time we have had something happen. We are a small family with no one to watch kids and we as husband and wife support each other in hard times (which this is). I am disgusted in how this was handled today so no need to pay a reschedule fee as in we won't be coming back. We deserve as humans to be treated better than this. I should not have to type out this email while my grandma is dying and I should not have to worry about a stupid reschedule fee because we didn't give enough time. I would have liked more time with my loved one. Once again just to drive my point home.... I'm DISGUSTED

Although she also gave me new of some issues that I need to get checked by a Retina Specialist; still glasses were prescribed. No problem there. I was measured for the bifocals. I was told it would be two weeks wait for the glasses; which took a couple of days more. On 4/17/2026 finally went in for the pick-up of the glasses; to find that they had order the wrong prescription (keep in mind I paid $398.00). I could not see clearly upon trying them on; but could see clearly with what I previously had. They had no explanation for me as I questioned where this process went wrong. Why for the first time ever I had a wrong prescription. I admit I was angry; but not disrespectful. I also was pressed for time with a family matter and could not prolong having to wait for them to fix the error. I asked for a full refund but going deducted the lab fee as per their policy. My issue with this place is that the manager did not make the effort to find out where and who did the mistake. I question how they get to keep the lab fee if it could have possibly been the actual lab that did the mistake in the prescription in the first place. They wanted to go further and report this unprofessional matter but will let it go and find another place. Another problem is with a copy of the so-called prescription I received; how am I to know that this is a correct prescription; if I wanted to just go to an optical for frames and give this prescription? They never even tried to reach out to make things right.

So instead of looking into the situation, she did didn't even try to help me comes to find out that my insurance would have covered this fitting went right down the street and spent my $300 elsewhere. If you're looking for a good vision place that will treat you properly don't go here.

I have found the Doctor and staff to be fantastic. They alerted me to potential problems and how they were checking annually to ensure we addressed them if needed. The frame selection is good, and for the first time in my life, I was able to get the same frames that I had last year (and I love). Price-wise, it is obviously insurance-dependent, but I am paying less now than I did a few years back. Lastly, I was told to expect my frames back in two weeks, and I received my progressives with all the bells and whistles in 5 business days (even with a holiday and weekend in the middle)! So quick!
