Felicia Abbott 1 review a minute ago New I have never given a bad review. I was a business owner for almost 30 yrs and I know you can't make everyone happy buy Dr Stewart could have tried today and he did not! I do not recommend Stewart Family Eye Care. I see so many wonderful reviews however my experience was terrible. I do have cataracts I am a crossroads to have surgery or get a new pair of glasses and he told me I would absolutely see better with a new prescription until I am ready for surgery. I waited thought about and prayed about it...do I get new glasses or go ahead with the surgery. Because of what he told me and the fact that I am so young I decided to wait on the surgery and get the glasses. My new prescription is not correct..during my first visit he told me I did not have a distance problem nor did I have an astigmatism which in not correct. I had to have glasses in the first grade due to not being able to see the black board from the back of the class. I have had eye exams my whole life and was told I have a distance problem and an astigmatism. The distance in my new prescription is not correct because everything is blurry worse than my old glasses. I went back willing to pay what I needed to pay to see better with a new prescription. He did not want to do this, everytime I mentioned fixing this one he was pushing the surgery. He never one time said ok let's redo the eye exam and start over, when I realized that that is where the conversation was going I said so I am going to leave here and have spent all of this money and time and I still can not see good. He then opened the door to the exam room like ok I am done. I never yelled, cussed or raised my voice but was questioning what he had told me previously and what he was telling me today. I have spent all of this money and can not use my new glasses, I can not see well but was assured with a new prescription I would. He was not willing to even try and give me another full exam. He pushed very hard for surgery. My eyes are strained everyday, headaches, blurry vision and I trusted Dr Stewart to help me. I am so upset and have exhausted my funds to go to another Dr to start over. I am so disappointed, heartbroken, sad and frustrated....... this is my vision we are talking about. Do not go here! I feel betrayed and so helpless.

On 3/31/2026 I went for a routine exam for glasses. Got what I thought was a good examination by…read moreDr. Lindsay Wood. She gave me a prescription for glasses which I requested by bifocal. Although she also gave me new of some issues that I need to get checked by a Retina Specialist; still glasses were prescribed. No problem there. I was measured for the bifocals. I was told it would be two weeks wait for the glasses; which took a couple of days more. On 4/17/2026 finally went in for the pick-up of the glasses; to find that they had order the wrong prescription (keep in mind I paid $398.00). I could not see clearly upon trying them on; but could see clearly with what I previously had. They had no explanation for me as I questioned where this process went wrong. Why for the first time ever I had a wrong prescription. I admit I was angry; but not disrespectful. I also was pressed for time with a family matter and could not prolong having to wait for them to fix the error. I asked for a full refund but going deducted the lab fee as per their policy. My issue with this place is that the manager did not make the effort to find out where and who did the mistake. I question how they get to keep the lab fee if it could have possibly been the actual lab that did the mistake in the prescription in the first place. They wanted to go further and report this unprofessional matter but will let it go and find another place. Another problem is with a copy of the so-called prescription I received; how am I to know that this is a correct prescription; if I wanted to just go to an optical for frames and give this prescription? They never even tried to reach out to make things right.

negative stars not available so they get a one from me ... in reading some of the previous pass…read morereviews about the front desk people being super nice and accommodating, definitely from your past and definitely not something that is at these locations currently I scheduled an eye appointment at this facility because they were close to my home and I felt like would give me the service that I deserve that did not happen. they charge ridiculous prices for contact fittings and when I questioned this the lady didn't even turn around and speak to my face , so rude of absolutely would never give them my business or money .... So instead of looking into the situation, she did didn't even try to help me comes to find out that my insurance would have covered this fitting went right down the street and spent my $300 elsewhere. If you're looking for a good vision place that will treat you properly don't go here.

The office is new and we'll maintained. Overall, I had a good experience there. At previous eye doctors I have been to, I have felt pressured mid exam to get more thorough eye imaging tests done. Here they give you a form about some optional tests and whether you want your eyes dilated right when you come in. I enjoyed this low pressure approach. I also appreciated that it had clear pricing options listed on the form. There was also low pressure about purchasing contacts or glasses from them. I could easily leave with a copy of my prescription. I did not check their glasses this time, but their contact lenses prices were reasonable.

They keep telling me they have been shipped. I called early this morning, frustrated as it has been a month , and she told me they were on the truck and would be there by 10;45 and she would call. Well, I never heard again and it is 2pm . They closed at 1 and knowing how frustrated i was.... she left without calling me. Even with decent insurance I oaid $600+.
