Pros: Really big store, lots of free parking spaces, and some decent helpful staffs. Cons: I wish they would restock as often. This by far is the worst Walmart I have ever been to and do not recommend it. We were visiting Toronto and I wanted to stock our hotel room kitchen with beverages, snacks, and the fixings for home cooked meals for myself and my family. We found that this was the closest Walmart in the area that we were in at the time. You have to put a quarter in the cart like you are at Aldi. The parking lot and outside of the store was dirty in appearance. When we got in we noticed the layout of the store reminded us of Dollar Tree or Big Lots and not Walmart. We were not impressed and we did not notice any rollbacks. I'm all for clearances and not wasting food, but I never seen Walmart ever take almost expired fruits and vegetables and other foods and bag them and make a clearance rack (this can be seen as good or maybe not so good-they could donate the food). The service in the store was very poor. We asked a worker to direct us to an item and he said I think it's over there and then said I'm not really sure where it is located and walked away from us. The store itself looked dirty and outdated looking and not bright. We opted to go through self checkout and at one point needed store clerk assistance. I asked a worker for help and he said hi and just stood at his post and didn't come to our register ( he left us until another worker came past and helped us). I do not recommend this Walmart and I should have walked out and not spent a cent there. I strongly suspect that this location is not practicing the Walmart mission. read more

My first time in Walmart in Canada, and I am not impressed. First you have to walk through a security gate to enter. The store is very small, and there is know one to help you in sight. Also, the lines are extremely long and the cashiers move extremely slow.!!! I think I should have just went to another store. This particular store did not have one Toronto Raptors merchandise in sight. Went to Walmart today and seen a mouse!! Yes a MOUSE! Me and my friend went to go tell someone and they looked at us and is like ok and didn't even seem to care... then we found a manager and told her that there is a mouse and we even said that we don't think it's sanitary because there's food and everything around and when there is one mouse it always comes in bundles of 3 and now it's in there and then they are going to breed and then it's going to be infested and none of them cared ! This Walmart has HORRIBLE customer service. I've gone several times to return a garment steamer but because of the Covid pandemic they keep delaying their return policy dates. As if that weren't enough, they NEVER answer their customer service calls. I've called MANY times so I can save a trip and avoid going for nothing and they pick up the phone just to hang up!! Really quite awful. There is nothing that bothers me about a superstore/market more than disorganization. Every single aisle: hard to match a price (tag) to a product because the shelves are a MESS. If you want to waste your time matching products with the names of products all over the aisle, this is the place for you. The store is dirty. Too long lines. Unfriendly customer service. Even the aisles are a mess; can't you lump the cereal or ice cream or chips section in one area? While shopping, the employees' constant loud chatter about their personal lives was disgusting and disorienting. I didn't want to hear it. No one cares how your dates went; I can't even believe you ugly bitches got dates! Ewww. They also didn't move a big cart that was blocking shelves I was obviously wanting to look through. Ghetto! I hope they both get fired. Moving on... The store lacked most of the things we went in for, and had a really light selection overall. Although, the low price on Vicks VapoRub earned it another star. Returns took forever because the indian lady at returns was spending 45 minutes with one customer and failed to address the huge line up of customers. On Oct 22, 2021, I went into the Rexdale Walmart to buy (qty) 8 of the 6" Hometrends plates. There was just one on the shelf so I asked an employee if there were 7 more in back. Without even checking, they told me to go home and order the plates online. That was around 9:30am. I went home, placed my order online at 10:16am. At 10:27am, I received an email stating my order was ready for pickup. That means they were at the store the whole time and I could have saved myself a $5.00 "order handling fee". For the record, the nearest Walmart distribution centre is 47 minutes away but Walmart had the audacity to claim that the $5.00 order handling fee was justified because they CLAIM it was shipped from their distribution. So, somehow, a driver broke the sound barrier to get these plates from distribution to the store in 21 minute? I don't think so. Its beyond insulting the way I was treated when I asked why I was being charged this OHF when they were in store the whole time. I will never order online again. Also, I will drive as far as necessary to go anywhere else to avoid this Walmart at all costs. I don't promote unscrupulous, shady selling tactics meant to defraud people. The store is usually in disarray and if it weren't directly across the street from me, I never would have gone to this location. The aisles are almost always cluttered or blocked with skids of products. The employees are bitter and unhelpful. This is, quite possibly, the worst Walmart in Ontario. I would say drive the extra miles to go to a cleaner, more respectable store. This one lacks in all areas of customer service. Also, if they scammed me out of $$ (OHF), when they had stock available, how many other people are they doing this to? It's completely disgusting to treat people in such a shady manner. read more

This Walmart never answers the phone no matter what department you transfer to. Customer service, electronics, pharmacy. The phone will just ring and ring. And once after 25 rings Customer Service picked up and then hung up the phone immediately. Whoever is the GM of this location seriously needs to have a conversation with the incompetent employees in these departments. One of the worst walmarts in Ontario (and anywhere else for that). Never more than 4 cashiers working including express lane. Very unfriendly staff. If you absolutely need to do shopping here, don't do it at night as everything gets much worse. Terrible, terrible staff and store is always a mess. Why do I try? This place is the worst. I came to get some bags of cat food and ended up waiting in line for over 40 minutes while a bunch of losers 4 people ahead of me proceeded to price match EVERY ITEM and then bolt after they didn't have enough money on their gift card. People are rude and discard their items everywhere. Someone in front of me sent her daughter back 3 times with 3 different bags of chips. THEY ARE CHIPS JUST BUY THEM SO I CAN GET OUT OF HERE. If I could give this Walmart zero stars I would. First of all it's very dirty, messy, and very disorganized. We wanted to buy 250 excersize books because they were on sale for 25 cents each, we thought it was perfect for our charity function we were holding for kids. We asked the sales team member if there is anymore on the back we can buy, he said he dosbt know there is no way for him to check and he wasn't about to check even he could anyways. We tried asking someone else she told us it's not her department she can't help us. Umm.. Why are you at work then? Just to put stuff back!! Seriously what kind of customer service is that. He then told us to go to customer service n ask them we did, the line was really long and only one cashier working.
