I was at the Walmart at 10600 W 21st Str, Wichita this morning getting my tires rotated. I got the lifetime rotation/balance on all tires originally I bought in Independence, MO. Two of the tires' belts slipped (no fault of WMT) while in Missouri. The people at the WMT in Missouri didn't update my record on the new tires. I bought the lifetime rotation/balance on the replaced tires. But, WMT in Missouri failed to update my file. Today, the Walmart in Wichita, via Mark and Margaret in Automotive honored my request. The experience was very pleasant and expedient. There was no charge for the rotation and balance of all four tires. I would recommend this Walmart based on my interaction with Mark and Margaret in the Automotive Department. read more

Walmart has a bunch of lazy employees that do not take accountability for their actions, also if you ask them a simple question they love to huff and puff and have an attitude. I've noticed time and time again while being here. Worst experience ever. read more

Attention all Walmart managers please train your folks that are the greeters when people walk in the door to make sure they are to actually be on the motorized carts I told two workers today July the 11th between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 that two girls look like they were under 12 riding the motorized scooter one was driving it and the other one was standing on the back when I caught up to the girls I'd let them know they shouldn't be on that that is for folks that needed. I as a disabled senior citizen need to be on one of those and now I understand when we come into the store most of the time the carts on enough, and I've seen other young kids riding it and they don't need to be on it. read more

This store is my life, really. Bad day? Go to Walmart. Dog just die? Go to Walmart. Find out your husbands been cheating on you with your sister? Go to Walmart. Can never wrong with Walmart, truly. Not to mention the bathrooms, nothing like those ice cold seats and sheer toilet paper. Sometimes after eating Taco Bell and I just KNOW it's gonna be one of those, I go to Walmart. And I'm always welcomed. Safe to say, Walmart's always the way to go. F U target read more

Customer service is next to nonexistent. Today's failure, not sure why I keep coming back to this dump, was waiting 20 minutes for someone to come outside to handle a propane exchange. I had to go back in the store three times to ask for assistance. Really enjoyable when the windchill is -2°. read more

Still have not heard from the "appropriate team" from corporate, so wanted to warn others to beware of the policies of this Wichita store to hand out online orders without checking ID if deemed "grocery items" like Airpods and Google Nest Thermostats. Read on ... Response By Email (12/16/2019 03:31 PM) Hi Diane, We have reviewed your email and want you to know that we have shared it with the appropriate team. Thank you for contacting Walmart where we are always happy to help! Customer By (12/16/2019 12:00 PM) I received an email on Sunday 12/16 that my order was ready for pickup at the Wichita Walmart store. I live in Georgia and did not order anything for pickup. I called the Wichita Store and was told the items were already picked up and I was billed for $351.94 through Walmart.com. I asked how can you have given the order to someone not me? The Walmart associate said that Identification is not required for grocery items. I asked what items were purchase for $300+? He said Ice Cream, pizza, APPLE AIRPODS & A GOOGLE NEST THERMOSTAT. I said those are not grocery items and how did the store just hand them to someone without identification. He said to call 1-800-walmart to discuss with them. I called the number, talked to a woman with an accent I could barely understand and she could barely understand me. After 1/2 hour, my call was passed to a manager (and obviously back to the U.S.) where the manager was very understanding and horrified. Due to the Wichita Walmart not checking identification and letting someone charge to my Visa account, she had to cancel the Walmart.com account linked to my email - so I'm officially done ordering with Walmart online. I also called Visa and they will not be paying the $351.94 to Walmart. The manager also said I should call the Wichita store (I had already and they told me to call 1800 walmart) and I should write to Walmart corporate, which I'm doing now. I've over an hour of my time and dinner time with my family (and my dad who had just arrived in town). Please tell your associates that APPLE AIRPODS and GOOGLE NESTS are not grocery items! And unfortunately, you've lost an online customer since I'm not allowed an account with my email due to the un-caught fraud and your policy of not checking identification. Very unhappy. read more

Today my mom, me and my little sister were checking out at aisle #12 the woman's name was TIONNA around 9:33pm. We told her we had a bottle of water pack under the cart, she said okay. And she went on with doing the other stuff. At the end, my mom asks how much was that water? She looks through the list and doesn't find it so she scans it. My mom asks are you gonna double charge it? And she said hush and was extremely rude! She got loud with my mom and my mom told her she needs a manager. And the woman named TIONNA Tells my mom to go get her own damn manager. And she continues to talk rudely at us after we leave the aisle. We wanted to talk to a MANGER and it took so long to find a manger. The person told us he would take care of it. And we left. You should never disrespect a customer like that. You will get fired in a heartbeat. read more

Came to return AirPods 2nd gen that have been in possession today as the 7th day. They wouldn't refund them because the ear pieces won't match the serial number on the AirPod case. Even after talking to Apple support and they them selves told them that the earpieces won't match the case. The only thing that with match is the case with the box and the receipt they still wouldn't do a refund. After asking for a manager they got me a team lead who decided to agree with the cashier. Ask for a manager and they wouldn't bring one. So if u buy AirPods from here make sure the serial number match on everything when purchase. Or just don't buy apple products from here and go where they know about apple products like bestbuy. Cashier was Alma and team Lead was a guy with a Mohawk I think his name was James.the guy in tech dept was also rude and disrespectful and wouldn't even listen to me. read more

This place is a joke. They ALWAYS have about 12 pharmacists working and 1 person working the cash register. Long lines, and they are as incompetent as it gets with the meds. I won't even come here until I've spoken with a pharmacy tech to verify they even have my prescription. Avoid this hell hole if you can! read more

Walmart Supercenter - Pharmacy "customer service". - Department Stores Near Me - Wichita, Kansas

Busy place. Lots of people buying groceries, just like us. Oh, look! Samples! This is nice! We didn't shop the entire store as we had come to get a few groceries and get out. The place is full of all the things your super Walmarts have to offer. Lots of every day low prices, then bargains on top of that if you pay attention, just like we did. read more

Cat food is next to soap which means dry cat food gets soap residue on bags and makes your pet sick. Why is this ok with FDA? This store closes at 11:45 even though sign says closes at midnight. Enforced by police officers. Why are customers treated like criminals? How is that even legal to close before time listed? Once there was a fake threat at 11:15pm. Everyone had to leave their groceries at checkout paid or not. Was after 11:45 before all clear and no one was allowed to go back in to get their items. read more

I wish it were possible to give his place a 0. This Walmart is absolute trash. It's dirty all the time. The stuff is knocked over on the shelves, old produce, and crack heads at every turn. They have maybe 3 cashiers check people out on a good day. Last time I went, there was some horrible smell coming from the meat department. It's impossible to get any help from the staff. Do yourself a favor and do NOT GO . read more

I've been trying to get ahold of the HR lady for a week now and Everytime I call she's either not their, just left, or in meetings. Which is odd because I know a Walmart employee that knew the HR lady was their and when I asked for her they told me she wasn't. Many times they tell me that she's their from 8am to 1pm or 1 to 5pm and every time I call she's not available. This Walmart could be better if they had a good HR employee hiring experienced employees. Employees like me can make those stars go up. But I'll be Moving on. :) read more

Went for a tire change, ended up in a claims battle for a door that will no longer latch on and is now being held by a bungy (or however you spell that word) cord. My biggest question i suppose is how does one go for a tire change and leave with a door that will no longer latch on and no longer aligns properly? I should have learned from previous experiences with this walmart that I shouldnt have come here.. but i needed a last minute tire change and i was quoted 30 minutes or less. Suddenly we were pushing an hour despite being first in line and i got restless. I drove off after finishing up, turned the corner onto pawnee and my door swung open and would not shut. I went back in a panic due to having work that day... essencially, the assistant store manager told me "if you need to be at work so bad, we recommend you hold your door shut and get there." Never... ever... in my entire life.. even if i did somehow "make up" my door being broken.... how could they speak that way to a customer? I spoke to probably 3-4 people who were either managers or auto center associates before being told to leave and file a police report because they "wouldnt speak to me because i was yelling"... i was panicking because i have a buick with a very heavy door that swings open if i dare make a turn and this all happened right after a tire change. I wouldnt ever recommend visiting this walmart to anyone.. however as stated this is 'walmart'. Expect less and itll at least meet 'satisfactory' read more

Took my daughters car. In to get two new tires on the front end. The person initially helping was curteous and professional. I was told that they would have the car readyin half an hour and would call/text once the car was complete. Many random wanderings around the store and a visit to McDonalds ate around 45 minutes. Thought I would go check on the car it was done, no call. Was told that the car needed an alignment. They don't do those (thank god for that one). Took it to another shop to have an estimate for the alignment, in the process of evaluating they found that the tires had not been balanced which I had paid for. I asked the shop to fix the problem and validate. Back to walmart.... I asked for the manager, which I was told that the manager would not come unless they knew why. The manager came when I stated that I was charged for something I did not receive. He proceeded to argue with me, needless to say I did get my money back. Beware of auto services at this walmart. read more

Had tire issue they took care of us, By the way we squeezed in just before closing time. Thank you guys!!!!

I think it's bs that they put something on sale for $2 but they charge you full price for it when you check out! Especially when it's a baby outfit. The table says $2 clearance but you get to the check out and it's full price. That's bs! read more
