Clothes , purses, home decor , pharmacy, banking, Claire's store added in for preteen and teenage accessories. Walmart third party has really popped out for Walmart stores. Great selections for these new brands but they are pretty pricey. Staff were friendly and plenty of registers open . Yay , this alone will get you an added star . Everything about staff and management of tire and auto department! Refused to put 4 tires on CADILAc had 700 am appointment delivered tires then called us after putting them on the inside of my vehicle! Rubbing interior! They were not brought their buy this vehicle my husband and I got up early at 530 am to bring tires for appointment! They could have used jack like they do daily to put on others! I absolutely love coming here I do prefer Target over Walmart, but every time I come to this location the door greeter always so friendly asking how my day was and smiling from ear to ear. I really like that they have kept this personal touch because it's what's sets them apart from their competitors and it really personalizes the experience. If you want to use manufacture coupons DONT come to this location... they go against every Walmart corporate policy on coupons and will make you feel like a criminal for even trying. They refused to allow coupons that have a higher value than the clearance item purchased despite it being clear that Walmart allows it. They also stated that they can't take printed coupons or allow more than 1 coupon. ALL of this goes against Walmart policy. read more

Let me tell you about Isaiah...stopped in this Walmart this morning between 10-11 am....found what I needed and proceeded to checkout ( there were 4 to choose from). He was on lane 7 and he was absolutely the sweetest, most polite young man I've dealt with in a long time. It was yes, Ma'am, would you like this in a bag, Ma'am, anything else I can do, for you, Ma'am, etc. I commended him on his politeness and he was very appreciative! The Walmart in Wentzville is a JOKE, a disgrace, and an unhealthy place to shop for food. 11:00 in the morning and there was ONE checkout lane open. Their business philosophy is for you to forget the regular checkout lane so you have to check out your own items, bag them and do the work a clerk should be doing. They pay slave wages for slave labor. Some of the lower prices are no worth the aggravation and inconvenience. The rest rooms are a disgrace and unhealthy. The health department will be notified. If the employee rest rooms are like the public ones, they should be closed for decontamination. There are cleaner porta-pottys cleaner at a fairground. The manager of this store should be fired. The question is, does upper management even care? I doubt it. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. read more

What a complete shit hole. The food shelves especially around the bottled water look liked Somalian refugees had been picking through it. Crap in isles, stuff just piled anywhere. The guy at the register was nice enough but Jesus Christ pick up the pace a little bit. No sense of urgency; must have thought he was on a nice little vacation somewhere in his head. This Walmart is very frustrating. I have been there every day of the week to see what might be the best day to shop, when shelves might actually be stocked. Unfortunately, no one day is best. They have always been polite and direct me to my item ( usually on the bottom shelf ) ! If you need to do a return from a Walmart Grocery App, go to another store. This one fains that because they don't offer the service they don't do the returns--which I have had done previously at other locations--even this one. Somehow, they always manage to find the receipt. In general Walmart needs to make WGA an easy process for customers to make returns. It should not be counted against the customers annual $300 without receipt limit because of a failing of Walmart systems to communicate. read more

I am very disappointed in the Wentzville, MO. location. My daughter is Type 1 Diabetic, and celiac disease. She is on a strict Gluten Free diet. We have always been able to get Gluten Free Complete Hungry Jack pancake mix, just add water, at this location. Now they don't carry it anymore. They used to have a Tagged Gluten Free Isle. Now they just put a few gluten free items in the Asian food section. With all the crap my daughter has to go through, from needle sticks before each meal, and before any snak, I hated seeing the disappointed look on her face when I had to tell her, sorry honey, they don't carry the mix anymore. Instead, they have some gluten free biscuit mix that taste horrible when trying to make pancakes. WHY ??????? read more

Usually I don't have people very helpful at Walmart, when I ask for help finding something , I usually get ignored completely or just pointed in some possible direction of where it may be but NOT TODAY! Brendan was extremely helpful and when I asked him if he knew where salt for slipping was located, instead of just pointing us in the right direction, he walked us all the way there.. that is the kinda service I have missed. So. I just watched a employee tell a customer that was of color and he was carrying a plastic bag with items that he purchased at s different store but because it is right next door to Walmart he decided to take the bag with him into Walmart and the door greater stopped him and told him that he needed to take the bag out of the store and put it in his car. He asked the door greater why he had to take it to his car she stated and i quote "because you look like your going to steal something ". I was shocked that she said that but after the manager had come and the guy was talking to him and all the manager did was defend the other employee. It was crazy and very moraly wrong. Even as a manager, and you should always (in most situations) defend your fellow employee, but when it comes to ethics and morals and values those things are not acceptable in the professional world. They had a greeter at this Walmart, which seems stupid but several walmarts in the area have stopped hiring greeters. They have a Burger King inside and several services including a salon and a check cashing center. It was a typical Walmart experience, lots of fat people and food. read more

I shop early Saturday mornings and find that there are no cashiers available. Only self check out. I do not like to self check out as I feel I am taking away someone else's job. Employees complain that Walmart pays low wages, but after shopping there today and observing many employees going about their jobs with enthusiasm of a turtle on Quaaludes, it is no wonder that Walmart pays low wages.
