Walmart Supercenter - Grocery Near Me - Triadelphia, West Virginia

I use this location quite frequently. It's easy. It's quick. It's always clean. The employees are always kind. I can't be easy working there. They always have what I need. Sometimes it gets busy. It's no big deal. I use a self check out all the time. They have great random selection of things you need. The prices are great. I've never had an issue except when they ask for my receipt I just reply. No, thank you. I always have parking. The carts are usually in decent condition. I appreciate the hard work from a few of the employees. I remember their names Scott and the hunting section for the ladies in the self check out and there's a nice lady who is always cleaning up after everyone she always has a smile on her face. I never see her name tag because she is actually working. Probably my one and only complaint is I wish some of the lanes were wider. Customer service is not an easy business. People do work hard at this location. read more

i'm very disappointed in this store. this is the only store near me. i am a child in need for a mother's day gift card but yet cant seem to find one. i walked my happy self over to the card section just to see that there is NO greeting cards saying "to mother, from son" but meanwhile there are cards saying "to mother, from pets" so you can have pets but not son? very disappointed and im NEVER coming back to this store EVER again. do better. read more

I usually have a great grocery pickup experience here but lately whoever has been picking the items has been severely slacking! I got two different packages of spoiled meat with my last pickup and almost rotten red potatoes as well. They need to train these employees who are picking the items to look for quality and freshness, but instead I think they have them pick items that are about to expire. The whole point of doing pickup is so I don't have to drag kids into the store with me, but looks like I'm gonna have to start going in to pick out my own meat and produce. Such a shame, because the pickup employees that load my groceries up are always a delight, but the pickers are making everyone look bad! read more

The lady in Walmart with the green thing in her wrist was yelling at me child because we walked in an obviously closed self checkout lane. The ropes were visible if our eyes were open enough. Walmart get better. I could give this zero stars if I could. read more

Place is super clean but the cashier was not customer friendly at all... There is a display as you walk in of left over Easter stuff which my daughter grabbed some bubbles out of and when I handed to cashier she looked at me and asked me what the price is? Wtf read more

Our camper refrigerator went out and we needed a dorm size refrigerator asap. We found one online that fit our dimensions and according to the store locator they were in stock, I searched throughout the store without any success. I retried the website and it was listed as oos. When I reached customer service Debbie was so helpful by calling other stores for me. While she was on the phone another Debbie who works in the dept. Overheard us and let us know that she did have the refrigerator on the shelf. She walked me over there and found Hannah who helped me to the car with the item. I have NEVER experienced such wonderful customer service at any Walmart! They all were so pleasant and friendly and helpful. Usually I despise going into Walmarts but while my husband and I are here I will gladly shop at your store! read more

This day marks our one month anniversary of being saved by True American Hero, Donny. On our way home from our trip to D.C., my three friends and I found ourselves stranded on a very precarious shoulder on the side of a highway in Claysville, WV. My tire was completely shredded and my rim was bent almost in half (thanks, Indiana potholes.) While waiting for AAA we were looking frantically for a shop that would be open on a Sunday evening. My friend found a Walmart nearby that according to Google Maps, had a tire center that was open until midnight. As that didn't sound QUITE right, we decided to call ahead and make sure. Don was the angel to answer that call. He told us that unfortunately they were getting ready to close, but he didn't feel comfortable turning us away. He told us that he was going to ask permission from his higher up to stay late for us and call us back. Sure enough, he called back saying he would wait. AAA still wasn't even with us, but he told us it didn't matter, he'd be there waiting. The AAA man eventually came and told us there was no way Walmart could fix this. After putting on my donut and accompanying us to the nearest gas station to get air, he left us, and we called Don. "I can fix it." We arrived at Walmart an hour and a half after Donny's shift. He had to open in the morning. But it didn't matter, because he just wouldn't have felt right if he didn't stay. Sure enough, Don was able to bang that tire into submission. They don't call him Big D for nuthin'! After two fresh tires he was also concerned I may be leaking break fluid, so he took even more time to just check around and make sure we were safe, offering to help us find a hotel room and recommending garages in the area in the case we had to stay. Finally, hours after the ordeal had begun, Donny got us on our way back to Ohio that night then to Chicago the next day. We were safe and everyone even made it to work on time. When all was said and done, our misadventure had become a fun anecdote and one of the highlights of our trip, as opposed to the catastrophe it could have been, thanks to Donny. He even contacted us the next day to ensure we'd make it back to Ohio safely. It's a beautiful thing to be helped by complete stranger going above and beyond, renewing your faith in humanity. Donny will forever remain in our hearts a TRUE. AMERICAN. HERO. read more

I called the vision center at 3pm to ask what their hours were. Was told someone would be there until 8pm. Told them "great, I get done with work at 7pm, I'll be right out after." Arrived at the store at 7:30pm to a sign that said "Closed at 7:20pm, sorry for any inconvenience." The Highlands is not exactly on the way home for someone who lives in Shadyside and works in Wheeling. Also, I was told to get glasses at Walmart because it's the least expensive place. Still cost me $300 (frames were $38). Should've gone to Lenscrafters, then I wouldn't have had to wait a week. read more

My brother went in to buy groceries including a pack of Mike's Hard and a bottle of wine. He was accompanied by my younger brother who is 14. When he got to the checkout they asked to card both brothers, and because my youngest brother is underage, they refused to allow him to buy alcohol. My older brother took the younger one back and then returned to finish his purchase, after letting him stand in line for 20 minutes, they refused to serve him AT ALLl, and wouldn't even let him buy the AA batteries he had forgotten before. When he calmly asked to speak to the manager about the policy, they had security called and escorted him out of the store. THIS TWO PARTY ALCOHOL POLICY IS NOT A LAW IN WEST VIRGINIA AND IS NOT EVEN A COMPANY WIDE POLICY. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more
