This is a great (busy) location. Staff is friendly and helpful, though they could use more people for basically every shift. Product is constantly on pallets out in the aisles making it difficult to navigate, and things are very often out of stock but found later on a pallet waiting to be put away (you can see customers just pulling things off pallets in this case) Overall they are doing great with what they have, just wish they had more employees to get product onto shelves and out of the way. I have tried curbside pickup only once and I won't recommend that to anyone, it might've been just the day I tried it, but was much more difficult than just shopping myself. read more

I'd give them no star but.... Never again will this happen to me. So sad, I used to spend upwards of a thousand dollars a month at this store for groceries and home goods. They did a fabulous job. So when I needed to purchase a $900.00+ generator through Walmart.com and it could only be delivered to this location I thought great. They have always done a great job. WHAT happened? What a disorganized poorly managed store. When I came into the store to pick up the item I was asked after waiting patiently for 45 minutes to come back tomorrow, maybe if I lived 15 minutes away, but I live several hours away, my thought was seriously. After watching 5 employees walk by doing nothing and not noticing the few of us at the kiosk the young man attending the door counting customers finally asked if we needed help. I feel like most people who review Walmart it's cause they need to vent about a poor experience, but I have only had good experiences at this Walmart. The employees have always been kind and welcoming. I love seeing the same lady welcoming guests at the food entrance. She's always friendly. The other day my hubs and I were trying to find a butane torch and the employee we asked assistance from went way out of her way to figure out where it was and checked multiple areas. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is cause I have had a few problems with diapers and soy formula being out of stack multiple times. Huge necessity for me. But other than that. Time and time again I have used the Walmart pick up which is most convenient for my family and I but I am not happy with the experience we have had there especially with the employees. They are not careful with the groceries, they are not punctual and they do not keep organized. There have been at least 4 to 5 times where I have waited in my spot after checking in for about 30 minutes and that's absolutely ridiculous. They say that it's because the app doesn't show that I checked in or some thing. Who knows but I believe it's unacceptable especially when you see a car sitting there for so long. I know I'm not the only one that heavily relies on Walmart Pickup and I hope that they can get it together soon or they will be losing customers. The vision center - My son had broken his glasses and we were from another state; Steve was very accommodating and patient with the other state having to fax over my sons information. After calling them three times to fax it again; he was still so nice and respectful to us. Both Steve and Brenden did an amazing job at helping us. The service was great and as soon as the needed information was received- they were quick about getting my sons glasses fixed and ready right there.. excellent customer service and very respectful. Entire shelves are empty and this is the new norm. It's getting harder and harder to shop here. Please, please, build a stocking building nearby so the shelves have food on them! Can't shove soooo many people in Tooele County and not have the food here. read more

It doesn't matter what time you go shopping it's always busy and half the shelves are empty. The employees that do the shopping for ppl that can't come in are RUDE. Not worth one damn star! After waiting to check out for about 40 minutes the clerk rings up our groceries, I swipe my debit card and it times out, run it again and it times out. We said this is going to charge our account several times. "oh no it wont do that" Then they send us to the customer service counter and I paid with another card and it does the same thing. So before I leave I pull up our account on my phone and sure enough it charged us a total of 5 times. And it credited back the amount once. I show the "Manager" (Not sure what you need these days to be a manager at walmart, apparently not much) and the "manager" says it will automatically be deposited back in your account but it takes 5-7 days. I said, it already posted one credit back within one minute, why does it take 5-7 days for the rest. "idk it takes 5-7 days" over and over. I have not met one person at this store (including the subway inside) that seems to have gone through any type of training of any kind. How do you run a billion dollar company and have such clueless employees. I'm sure this same type of problem happens on a somewhat regular basis so how do you have employees who don't know how to handle it. Walmart "Manager" Ha very funny Yelp, please allow us to choose Zero Stars! Update: I forgot to mention one of the employees at the customer service counter said to the "manager" when she walked up "It's lane 7, that register always has this problem" SO walmart is stealing customers money on a regular basis. This walmart has issues re stocking certain items. Especially in the grocery department. Help is usually no where to be found. The electronics department is a joke in its self. You have employees following you and assuming you're a thief. The sad thing is that this is really the only store in the town other than 2 smaller grocery stores. read more

Do NOT use the grocery pickup. My experience has been that they will take your money, tell you your order is ready for pickup. You will go, find no designated parking space, and be told to wait in another spot. 2 hours later you will be told that they have run out of time and will not be able to bring the groceries you paid for. They will then invite you to come back tomorrow. They will offer you nothing for wasting your two hours or the gas for the trip. The only redeeming moment was the nice lady who cancelled my order quickly and efficiently with no questions asked. You are certainly better off just shopping for your items yourself. I would even recommend shopping at another establishment to avoid the incredible incompetence that seems to have infested this one. read more

The store is kind of dirty even for a Walmart. They're out of stock of lots of items. There's a couple employees that will try to be helpful, some are rude and condescending. Every single time I've tried walking out the door with the items I've purchased that are in bags I get treated like a shop lifter by the door Gestapo who wants to go through all of my bags while tweakers walk right out the door without being harassed. Horrible!! I signed up for grocery delivery because I do not like going into the store because a lot of the employees are rude and the store is dirty. I placed my order for groceries and reserved a time for them to be delivered between 3pm and 4pm. Long story short, I called Walmart 5 times to try and figure out what was going on with my order and why my groceries had not been delivered yet. I just kept being put on hold. At 5:30 I was told my order was being loaded up and I'd get my groceries soon. They didn't come so I called again and was placed on hold for over half an hour. Not only is it hard at times to find a store customer service advisor walking around to assist with questions but when one is found they are usually rude and act like the person needing assistance is an idiot. Like the employee has to go out of their lazy way to help someone. Also, have 4 friends and a girlfriend that used to work there and each of them talked about how the staff is rude and full of drama. How management does not care about their employees. 1 of my friends was pregnant at the time and they fired her because she didn't come into work due to pregnancy complications. This business not friendly to customers or employees in most cases. I would not recommend going here for anything. If you have other stores that you could buy stuff at instead of Wal-Mart I do recommend giving those other stores your money. read more

Grocery Pick Up has only ever been an unpleasant experience at this location. Anytime I get amnesia and say "hey maybe it would be a good idea to try it again and somehow it will be better this time" and try it again; Bam, wrong! Coming at my appointed time, waiting for 20 min, letting them know I have to leave to get a kid then and come back and then waiting 30 min again so far and still nothing. It is now 3:10 for my 2:00-3:00 window and I've spent a total of 50 min sitting and waiting for still nothing so far. If I hadn't already wasted 70 min including the travel to and back a few times I would have left sooner. But in the middle of writing this I decided to finally let enough be enough and leave without the groceries and having lost an hr of my day I really needed to use on getting groceries. I'll never be using Tooele Walmart pick up ever again, it was the OPPOSITE of what it was meant for. read more

So, every time we shop at this Walmart we get stopped while someone painfully examines our receipt and bags. I seriously want to know what the criteria for this is? Is it because we have clean clothes, wear deodorant and have our hair cut on a regular basis? We literally saw two male punk kids who stuck out like sore thumbs set of the alarms while hastily walking out and the person guarding the door did nothing, didn't even look at them. Then here we come with over $300 bucks in groceries looking like normal everyday people who bathe daily and we get stopped by the same "guard" who spends a few minutes scrutinizing us. Whenever we shop there we see people eating food and then hiding the trash, we see little stashes of products hidden by people who were obviously shoplifting, we see this every time we go there. I will never use the pharmacy drive through again. I waited 20 minutes for a prescription that was already done. Then when the person got on the phone to talk to me there was no hello, no smile, just "Are you picking up?". I had already put into the kiosk the name and that I was picking up. Then when I told her I had be waiting 20 mins I got "We were busy in the store." No I'm sorry for your wait until I was ready to leave. 3 people had co.e and picked up groceries in less time that it took me to get one prescription! Maybe she should have said something like, Hello, I am so sorry for your wait. Can you please verify the name and date of birth of the person you are picking up the prescription for? With a smile on her face. That would have been way better! If you hate your job that much find a new one. If I could get my prescriptions from the pharmacy that I work at I would. Looking for a new pharmacy. I have never had a good experience with this one and I have been getting prescriptions there for over a year. This was the last straw!
