Outside store

I just wonder why those people were hired at the first place and if they don't want to work that much why they work at all. Walked in before the store close and plenty of workers around and they all trying to hide and run away but when it's time to let us know they about to close they surly appear and they really close ! Even the self check machine they made sure it's turned off to get us out! If they still have hundreds of customers still trying to give them business why they never consider open to later time ? But why would they and since there's no manager that care exist their only concern will remain be how do we do less job with more money ! Sadly this is how Walmart turned to be !

The store had a few supplies I needed to continue my road trip (yay!). The store was clean, and the staff polite, but not very friendly.

Make your life easier by ordering on line. Then just come and pick it up!

I cannot deny that this Walmart will (should) have everything you need. It's a large location with great variety and believe it or not, it's never super crowded! There is a large garden center, Subway location, a decent size pharmacy, a money center, vision center and Minute Key machine. I also love that they have grocery pick up. This makes it really convenient for that busy individual who doesn't have time to do the shopping. There are two major areas of concern: location and customer service. This location is so far east! I mean I have to drive away from the city just to get there. It's not super far down the parkway but I think the main point is that it is away from town and likely in the opposite direction of a person's dwelling. Thus, I wouldn't every "pass by" and say, "Oh, let me stop in for a few things." I would actually have to plan to make a visit and this often leads me to waiting until I'm in an area where I can "pass by" a Walmart. The staff are are lacking in the customer service department. They are "nice" but not friendly, warm and welcoming. Additionally, they are not going to go out of their way to resolve an issue. Many of the employees seem to involve themselves in playful banter (amongst themselves) and they almost act as if customers are no even present. This isn't a location that I frequent....or would frequent. But it's there...if you need it....

On-line Sale price applicable only here?!?!?

Shopping here truly is a pleasure. The produce department staff are perhaps the friendliest in the store. The stockers are always quick to greet you and offer help. And there is a charming lady behind the fresh produce counter who makes sure she welcomes each shopper who gets within twenty feet of her station. In general, the cashiers and baggers are friendly and keep the lines moving. A shout-out to Brittany and Dolores who have to be the best cashiers in the store. They both exhibit the perfect balance of interacting with the customer without needless chatting, which ultimately slows down the check-out process. IMO, management should have new cashiers shadow them to learn how to best work in that role. However, there are a couple areas for improvement ... Some of the college students working at the sub counter in the deli need more training. On several occasions, when ordering a premium sub (e.g. Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Holiday Turkey, etc.), the associate had no clue what ingredients to use; I had to read them the ingredients from the placard that is taped to the glass facing the customer. For the $8+ subs, this is kind of a big deal because if you aren't paying attention (or pre-order online), and they don't add the bacon or specialty cheese, for example, you really aren't getting your money's worth. Sale tags are notoriously left up past the end-of-sale date so that they don't ring up with the sale price at the register. While the customer service counter will normally refund the entire price (not just the difference) when this occurs, it can still be an inconvenience, ranging from small to huge. The inconvenience is small if I notice it while checking out, and I can go immediately to the customer service counter. This becomes more of a problem during the summer months when my groceries start to thaw while I wait for them to walk back and verify the sale tag is still up. The inconvenience is huge if I don't notice it until I get home and have to immediately return to the store after unpacking my groceries.

Second of all, every time I've gone and shopped here, I have encountered the friendliest staff around. They're always asking if I need help in anything or even if I'd like to try any of their products. I went in to buy some kombucha and they're selection is the best in Tally! On top of that, they had a BOGO! I was beyond excited. I shopped around their produce and found an amazing avocado deal. 5 avocados for $3. The store is very clean and spacious with lots of lighting. I love that you can find organic products hard to find elsewhere at a great price. Quality of produce is high here. They have a coffee bar area to work inside and seating outside too! If you get hungry, they have many options that are healthy and yummy! I tried their verde chicken fresh out of the stove. I could taste very ingredient in it. I can't wait to be back and try their burrito bowls! I have to mention that their rewards program gave me a five dollar discount on everything I bought. It's super close to FSU and love everything about it! Oh, I was impressed by their faucets in their restrooms. They had a three step faucet integrated with a dryer in it.
