This place was great and I actually like it more than the one on Washington. I'll admit it's not quite as big so of course it might not have as many products but I found the products at this shop from clothes to housing products, accessories, beauty and seasonal decor, to be far more quality and types of items that I was interested in. Everyone was extremely nice and there were no lines. Great parking option. So well, I don't live in Utah. I do come here probably once, sometimes twice a year, I can see from here on out coming to this Walmart over the other. read more

i came in to buy 17 storage bins. The bins were up high. I asked a Walmart employee to help me get them down. He came over, got a stool, then told me he couldn't get it for me because he couldnt touch the top shelf due to inventory. He walked away without helping me! I talked to a manager and she was no help either. So keep your inventory Walmart. I will buy my 17 bins at The Container Store instead! read more

Just arrived from out of town. Needed a few items, as usual. Walmart is the place to go then. They have everything. This Walmart was exceptionally clean. The shelves were well stocked. In spite of there being so many customers there when I was, in store traffic moved well. No long lines anywhere. Staff were especially nice even. No idea why, but this Walmart is doing a great job. I placed an order for a cake for pick up the day before Valentine's Day. When I went to go pick it up, they said that they didn't have my order. I had placed it a week in advance, but they said that no one put it in the system when they took my order. I ended up placing another order to pick up the same cake that I wanted for the next day. I showed them my inspiration pic from Pinterest and the lady took a picture of it. So I thought that it would be pretty close to what I wanted. I picked it up today and the bakery lady showed it to me. I determined that it would just be too much to tell her to change so I just took it. It looks nothing like my inspiration pic. On the box it says that I wanted purple font, but I never said anything about purple when I ordered it. They did give me a discount for messing up my first cake. Today is a day of celebration. I'll never go back to Walmart again. I'll never have to check myself out again. We spend between $400.00 and $600.00 a month on groceries. I am deathly tired of checking myself out while employees stand around and watch. The store has a poor selection and is dirty. After dodging and getting out of the way of personal shoppers I've got nothing left for checking myself out. I will shop elsewhere. read more

In a store where it is hard to find an Associate willing to help and seem annoyed by Customers it was very refreshing to come in contact with Sandy Hardin. Sandy not only had a beautiful smile but physically walked us over to where the item was that we were looking for. She certainly is a great example of how the Other Associates should treat customers. Mire often than not, when asking for help from others we get a frown, sigh and if we are lucky they will only point a Ross the store. Just yesterday we were looking for something close to the pharmacy area. Asked a woman where the item was and after getting a disgusted look, she garbled something that wasnt English then ignored us. Sandy Hardin should be commended for her kindness and willingness to help. It's because of her that we will return. read more

First time at this location. Better stocked than Hurricane store or even the Washington store. For the most part it's like all Walmarts. We came for produce and fresh chicken. Busy location , but they did have almost everything we were looking for. read more

I was actually very impressed by this WalMart, and that's saying something for a WalMart. Not only is the place kept very clean and organize, but I was shocked at how hospitable the employees were with us as customers. Everyone we interacted with was very helpful and friendly. That's not the norm with this particular establishment, so that was refreshing. read more

I went to this Walmart today and was racially discriminated against by the Team Lead Alex. My mother and I went to self check out line because none of the registers were open. Once in the self check out we scanned several items including alcoholic beverages and we needed the employees to enter their code so we could proceed. Alex was in the customer service department and walked all the way to the self check out line to tell us he would open a register up for us to go through all our bags and scan them. At this point $100 worth of items were already scanned & bagged, and I told him we were not going to unbag everything when we only had 4 more items to scan. He gave us a hard time, got extremely loud with us, and was being extremely condescending. We were the ONLY black people in self check out line, and we were being targeted. I let him know he could just enter the code to let us scan our last 4 items, then check the receipt and see for himself everything was scanned. He said we could've been done with our conversation by now if we would just let him scan everything. First he said he wanted to scan it to make sure nothing was "misscanned". Then he said he wanted to do it to make sure we weren't being over charged. We have no reason to steal, money is not an object, and I don't appreciate being racially profiled. He could've just looked at the cameras that were in the self check out line or viewed the receipt. read more

Tire Center/Auto Care I am very grateful to see Walmart opening their auto center again. I feel very bad for the department and how they are understaffed. This place needs some management and some go getters, maybe that happens with better pay or more quality control. I have a day off and decided to get my oil changed, I've been here for 90 minutes with only two cars in the bay. One was in front of me and the other was worked in before me as they arrived about 30 minutes ago. The workers about 90 minutes in are starting to see and find some urgency. Probably because there's about five cars parked behind me. Now I'm just waiting because I'm curious to see if they move someone in front of me again. Walmart please figure this department out, it could be great and I know some of the workers would like the help to make it better. I'm giving a one star because is the last time I'm ever considering waiting 2-3 hours again with one car in front of me. read more

Another $1000. Oil change. Went in for an oil change. And got the usual sabatage of the vehicle to work already done by a great mechanic so that the friend of WM can get business. Same work on this vehicle every time I leave Walmart. This has been going on for 10 years now. I thought Utah would be different. Nope. Same scam. Andrea in the electronics department was super unhelpful... I came in to buy an apple pencil and when she came to help me she had a super rude vibe and lacked appropriate customer service skills. I had to go back later that day after realizing I bought the wrong apple pencil for my ipad. I asked if they had any left of the pencil i needed, and she just glanced at the case that was 15ft away from her, and said they were out of apple pencils. She didn't even move from the spot she was standing in to check. I have never met such an unhelpful person like her. You're better off anywhere else. read more

I'm not one to usually rate grocery stores, but the friendliness of the staff was worth the review. The cashier was helpful and kind, the manager welcomed and thanked us, and a third worker told us they appreciated our business. This has got to be the least managed Walmart we've ever been to! We stood in the section where the gun ammo is stocked with empty shelves. That wasn't the issue. We tried to get someone to assist us in that section for over 30 minutes!! We had been told the day before by a manager that ammo was due to be delivered this evening between 6-7pm. So we went to the store to inquire about it since we are in town for shotgun events at the World Senior Games. We pushed the Assistance Button and nothing happened. We saw many employees who looked the other way when they walked by us. We finally flagged down an employee to ask for assistance and he got a manager (Phyllicia) to help us. She found out no ammo was going to be delivered today. I have never seen more employees walking around with their hands in their pockets or looking at their phones than I did at this store! There were displays that looked like they are about to tip over which I would think would be a safety issue. Someone in upper management needs to take a look at this store. read more

It's a Walmart, what can I say! But went here because needed some stuff because I had a runny nose and sore throat,

Some at this location better get their phone service up to speed. There have been times it has taken up to two days to get through to someone in the pharmacy. No matter what number you try at this location you get the same message "The person at this mobile number is not taking calls" Last week my granddaughter had a SERIOUS car accident and I tried to call the store to have my husband paged, but got this same message. We only have one car and it is a very helpless feeling as a grandmother not to be able to get through and get to her in this emergency. This is unacceptable and needs some serious attention. Grocery delivery is fine but (shipped) items is a joke! MANY of Walmarts delivery service/people do not even take the time to actually READ (EXPLICIT!) ANY address location information. They'll just deliver your shipped items/package to whoever. 8 out of 9 times (Yes! 8 out of 9 times!) they have delivered my (shipped) item to the INCORRECT address. Store went through a remodel and it looks great. Well stocked and fresh looking. I'm rating the overall store experience but if I had to rate the pharmacy, it wouldn't get high ratings. Pharmacy needs to be more professional. So, much chatter about nothing, shelves aren't stocked and they are slow. Usually, only one person working when there's 3 cash registers and computers. There's a lot of screaming kids but the store isn't responsible for out of control parents. I went through tire and battery center, this is about as good as it can get. I have literally never reviewed a WalMart. I expect them all to be the same slightly hellish experience and am always pleasantly surprised when things go smoothly. This was just the worst. We found what we needed quickly and boyfriend and I paid separately. Cashier was polite to him. Cashier drops my stuff on the floor (and waits for me to pick it up with no apology), doesn't look me in the eye, doesn't say a word to me except to give me my total. After she hands me my receipt, she looks at my boyfriend and says "have a nice day sir". Old caucasian lady. WTF. I can't possibly be the first ethnic person to ever walk into that WalMart (Hello, it's WALMART). It took everything in me to not call her out on it to her face but I politely left without a word. While heading up to Brian Head, we made a stop at this Walmart to pick up some provisions. Granted it was latter evening hours on a Friday when we pulled into a somewhat filled parking lot. Immediately I felt a strange feeling not associated with most Walmarts. Making entry into this town's version of Wally World, I was immediately taken back by the lack of hysteria I have felt at other locations. Sure there were people shopping but is was in a calm collected manner. Come to Vegas and visit a Wally World during the latter hours on a Friday night. One might think with all the hustle and bustle, the city was preparing for an asteroid impact on Saturday morning. My St. George experience was similar to walking though a meadow. I saw this this because this was one of the few stores that I could look down a row of items on not see anyone. No one was trying to severe my Achilles with their shopping carts. There was no scenarios involving cart to cart warfare. It was just a peaceful shopping experience....period. After being lost in the experience, I was brought back to reality about where I was shopping. The check-out line was horrendous. This was not clerks fault, though I feel she could have perhaps used some additional training before using a cash register. It's all about the prevision that has become Mr. Walton's vision. No one can make a decision without an overlord coming over and inserting a key or punching a code into a palm pilot. This caused us to spend more time at the register than shopping. All in all.....I would rather shop at a Walmart in St. George than just about anywhere else. read more

Their tire center would not change the tires on my RV and trailer. I'm pretty sure that all Walmart tire centers come equipped with the same tools, so I find it funny that the Walmart in Mesquite, NV was willing to do the job. We had travelled 1,000 miles and blew 3 tires on the last 100 miles while driving through Utah. It didn't matter to the lazy crew sitting around talking like school girls. That's okay though. I LOVED using the grocery app to do Walmart pickup! I've used it for a year and love the convenience of it as a new mom! Sadly I am very appalled on how strict they are with your time slot for pick up. My husband one time had to pick up the groceries instead of me because of personal reasons so he was a little late I called customer service and said that my husband is going to pick up the groceries later because That's the only time we can do it. The lady said that's totally fine, you have 24 hours until they put your things back and if there is cold things they keep them in a freezer ect ect. and they scolded him for not being at the time I reserved. I understand punctuality is good but that has happened once in the 10+ months I've used Walmart pick up. Now today I had my time for 11-12 I planned on being there. My baby is teething so she was tired and took a longer nap than usual and I then had to breastfeed when she got up so I was almost exactly an hour and a half late I pull up and this lady then tells me rudely that I need to be here when you are scheduled I then told her that my baby was teething and not feeling good. She then proceeds to tell me that you have to call and say I'm not going to make it. Then she slams my trunk? Ok I was very mad. The reason why I'm late is the most harmless senario and you have to be rude about it. It really sucks I loved using pick up cause the fee was free but I'm going to take my business else where read more
