My sister and I went to the mall this evening. We got to the mall at 8.54 pm and were well aware that our purchase would need to be quick as the mall closed at 9. When we walked up to the door the security guard told us he locked all the doors because the mall closes at 9??? yep we knew that but it was 8.55. so still had 5 minutes before the mall was supposed to close. The security guard said he locked all the doors and despite the mall closing at 9 he refused to unlock the doors. Hate to say this but this is unacceptable and if the mall actually closes at 8.55 then say that!!!! I will be doing all my shopping online from here on out and I hope this mall goes under!! read more

This mall is GREAT! but i am writing about a certain major complaint. On April 1st me and my sweet daughter came into the Pacsun store ( apparently it's all the rage ), and were treated very bad. I certain worker was inconsiderate and made us feel bad. Obviously this isn't the malls fault because the mall itself is very well structured, and very nice. But this event DROVE us out of the mall. Now let me talk about this woman.The second we got in the store she was yelling and put clothes down aggressively, she almost knocked my sweet Molly on the floor!! OUTRAGEOUS. The Red Cliffs Mall holds a special place in my heart-it's the hangout of my teen years, the space where I held hands for the first time with a boy and where I spent all my babysitting money at long since replaced B. Dalton bookstore. Although the mall looks nothing like the mall of yester-decade, I have to tip my hat in respect for how it's hung on and redefined itself to stay relevant over the years. As a nod to nostalgia, I'll list out some of the other stores that used to be a part of the mall in the '90s. One end had WalMart as an anchor store. Yes, WalMart. Then, there was Tilt, the arcade that attracted all the pre-teens and their siblings. I spent many coins here. My family had pictures done at Foto Studio Expressions, a photography studio. I still can conjure of the chemical smell of that place-they developed the photos onsite and that smell is unmistakable. I forget the music store's name, but I bought many cassette tapes, and even my very first compact disc there. I don't remember all the options that were in the food court, but my friends and I frequently had lunch, or at least a snack, here. My brother and his friends played a practical joke and super glued a quarter to the ground, then hid around the corner watching and laughing as people attempted to pick it up. Oh, the shenanigans that place saw! The mall now looks nothing like I remember, but they have done a respectable job at bringing in new stores and keeping up a modern look to the place. I read the reviews here, And here's what I got to say. This is a lovely nice small town that's growing. Its one of the precious place for the community to escape the heat or hang out. This mall is perfect for this town. I'm sure this will grow. I'm sure the CEO of this mall wants to do more like every other CEO does. Yes I'm so use to going to huge malls. I'm from Vegas. But for a very small mall like this. I think it's really cool. This mall has the perfect stores and vendors to keep this place busy. I don't want to spoil and name off all the stores here. I'll let you guys explore and enjoy on your own. All I've got to say is I bought from three different places here and I even went to one of the vendors and got a massage : ) (yes I recommend to get a massage there) This place would be perfect if it had a real Food court, But I had some sweets pretzel lol! I visit to many big for nothing malls in other cities and the malls look completely empty with closed down stores. This mall is okay, just that. I know that this is a smaller town and that they're not going to have these huge, amazing, 2-3 story malls, but this one just seems so underwhelming. I think the best thing is Barnes & Noble. The store is huge, the people are friendly in there, and there are a lot of choices. If you're wanting to walk around for hours to kill time and shop, I don't think this is the place for you, at least in my opinion. It doesn't offer many stores and the ones it does offer are less suited to my taste. read more

I know that it's not fair to compare malls to other malls, but after growing up in Vegas then moving here, I was pretty underwhelmed with Red Cliffs Mall. The highlight of this place to me was the Barnes & Noble with a classic looking starbucks in it. Its an amazing hang out spot after you walk the what seems to be the single football field length of a mall. It had your typical run of the mill mall stores (Dillards, H&M, etc.) with some interesting concession stands. Overall, not the worst mall I've been to and it gets the job done. read more

This man is a scammer. We were asking for pricing and he started taking our phone apart before we agreed to anything. He pulled our screen cover off which removed the glass that was broken. He then gave us a price and when we didn't agree he threw away our cover. When we asked why he would do that he took it out of the trash and told us to leave. He wouldn't discuss it with us and gave us a fake name and fake corporate name that he is not even associated with. Do not use this phone repair stand. read more

Yes it is a small Mall. Its not like being in Vegas with the big malls but every time we go to St. George we always seem to stop here just to walk around. Kinda a shame more stores do not open here. I think everyone has the thought it has to be a huge Mall but if you shop here you know what your coming for I would think. It has always been clean when we go. Its just not a ton of trendy stores people are looking for. St. George is a small town so I am sure they know what they want. Its not the worse we have ever been to. Very small mall It is one direction and no break offs. There were limited stores to shopping. The foot locker was the best shop in the mall. The associate there was very professional and hoped everyone out. when we went into the other stores like Dillard's and Maurice's there was not much service. The customer service was lackluster and they did not assist guests or customers as well as I feel they should have. foot locker would be the only reason I would go back to that mall. read more

Whatever you do don't go at all close to closing time. I rushed in 15 minutes before closing to find a dress for my daughter and I was treated incredibly rude. There were two girls working folding clothes near the front., I waited for either one to notice I was at the checkout, they saw me and kept working. I had to ask for someone to help me at the register. The one who helped didn't say a word to me except tell me my total. When I asked if I could use my phone number for rewards she said she'd have to cancel it and start over. Normally the employees ask for that first. I'm sitting in my car having left the store already and it's still 2 minutes before closing. I was in and out of the store in literally 4 minutes. I didnt make them stay late. I...hate...this....mall. Locals tell me they are perplexed by it: it was built in the 80s (before the population tripled) and they are surprised no one has either improved it or built a new one. Most people go to the strip malls for clothes, but I find those too whore-y and cheap and I don't like those either. Right before we moved here Hot Topics went out. This mall has a Bath and Body Works but no Victoria Secrets (is this Mormons or economics? Either way its stupid.) For clothing for the young person there is Boho (cheaply made overpriced wholesale crap clothing that dazzles the locals) Pennys (eww), Sears (again eww), and Dillard's. Now I've been to Dillard's, in fact growing up there was a Dillard' near me that was well sized, had great bargain racks, and good clothes. This one not so much. Its steeped in old lady fashions and...something I can't quite put my finger one for juniors (again I want to blame Mormons but frankly even they must know this stuff is ugly.) Its just...horrendous. I quit buying clothes out and about and turned to Ebay (if I can't have an H&M and Macy's then I'm not shopping!) This mall doesn't even have a food court (well...a functioning one anyways)! I go for Barnes and Nobles (though small it is adequate and I'm glad its here), the rides (my niece loves them), and....to cry at Dillard's. Seriously St. George get with it. Build a new mall. Well my review starts off with some unfortunate news I need to share with the community. Unbeknownst to me, our local retail center, Red Cliffs has shut down until further notice. This was such a shock for my family and I as we arrived right after Sunday church service (yes, dressed in our Sunday best) ready to enjoy lunch followed by strolls. This place has been such an iconic staple and really, to be honest, a glue for my family and marriage. My wife and I struggle entertaining our 6 children, 4 grandchildren and a few aunts and uncles who coach surf with us years on end. We always are aiming to keep a healthy routine an Sunday's are what we always make sure remains constant and predictable for our family and guests. My wife doesn't enjoy the sun or clouds so an indoor environment is always preferred. My daughter, Sally, who is turning 9 tomorrow- and her boyfriend are always looking for areas where they offer a unique array of food options while dining as they both have such different food preferences. For example, she absolutely loves pretzels where as Hillep loves his chicken and waffles. This place has been a saving grace for their relationship. Any-who, back to how this has helped my wife and I. Our therapist says that communication isn't our strongest quality in our marriage and neither of us really like it. We've found that whenever we come here it really feels like an escape and we're able to communicate more than ever. We exchange comments and feedback on visual displays, our thoughts on certain unique offers and coupons that are being offered and share special moments when we both get our favorite 1lt Diet Coke to share. read more

I think this is a good sized mall for a small town!!! I live in Vegas were malls are big and there are people galore but in a small quiet town I think this mall does it justice. I never stop in St. George expecting to go to a huge mall. When I was there during spring break, Yeah some stores were closing but not alot and the ones that were open were I thought good stores to shop at. The brand new Borders was big and fully stocked, a good sized DEB and a really cute store I have never seen before-Bohme Boutique. Pacsun, Hollister, Journeys are just a few of the stores.... With the horrible reviews I was expecting the crappiest mall ever but I didn't think that at all. It is what it is - a small mall in a small town with some stores closing as it is in most malls in America because of the state of our economy right now.... So, people if you have or make some extra money go out and shop and support you local mall before it completely closes down!!!!! I do think they should have built at least a 6 space mini food court inside the mall as the only eateries are outside the mall. read more

Wow. That's all I can say. The times have NOT been kind to this place! My mother's family lives in St. George, and as a child we would frequently go up there and visit them. To combat the boredom my brother and I would often experience, we would usually go to this mall. 15 or so years ago, this place was great. What the hell happened? Last time I went in here, probably a good 1/3 of the stores were closed down! The arcade is no more. FYE, Gamestop, and over half the food court are completely gone. They recently opened a Barnes and Noble at one end of the mall, but that is now the best thing this place has going for it, sad to say. This place feels like a ghost town now. All those childhood memories, tainted by my last visit here. Unless I feel a die-hard need to visit a Barnes and Noble the next time I'm in Utah, I won't come near this place anymore. read more

I'm sure 20 years ago, this was a busy mall. But St. George is really growing and compared to other cities, this is hardly a mall... There aren't very many stores inside. Also, there isn't a food court... you have a choice of pretzels or pizza. read more

As of March 2018, about 1/3 of the mall is closed, empty spaces. BN and The Buckle are the highlights. JCP was okay before the awkward Sephora was plopped in the middle (this works in larger JCP but this one was tiny to begin with). Only anchors are JCP, BN and Dillards. It's kinda sad and depressing, actually. Over the years we have seen many stores go out of business here, including AE, Hollister and Hot Topic. Best advice for shopping in St. George is to shop online. read more

This is not a mall you can spend a day or even a few hours browsing through. It is a place to run into and grab what you need and leave. There is only one food option besides pretzels which is a pizza buffet (which runs $8-10 a person). It baffles many people how this mall has had good stores that were doing great business and they leave. The GAP, Hot topic, American Eagle and Hollister all were packed and left. I look at my kids yearbook 3 years ago and 7 out of 10 kids had a Hollister or AE shirt on so these stores were selling but somehow got pushed out? These stores leaving were a big loss for boys clothes ages 12-20. It is very hard to find clothes that aren't basketball shorts or dress clothes for this age range. I feel sad that with a city that has over 35,000 kids we have no real mall. the options are shopping online or running around between strip malls to try and see what is not out of stock. Just a few mismatched stores (there is a huge store selling vinyl letters next to a shoe store and a hearing aid store) and vacant spots in between. The anchor stores are SMALL. They are not full size Sears, JC Penny, or Dillards. These stores carry minimal items and you can get other colors styles or sizes mailed to the store. There are very few kids clothes in these 3 stores. Surprisingly the mall is not full of modest selections. I an not a native Utahan but went looking for longer men's shorts and a modest women's bathing suit and were unable to find any at this mall. As for 2/2016 the main draws of the mall are Victoria Secret, Bath and body works, and Barnes and noble. The rest of the stores are filler and comes and go. Our family makes a twice yearly shopping pilgrimage to SLC or Vegas to go to H&M, Macy's, Bloomingdales, Soma, Pottery Barn, Gap, Williams Sonoma and all the other stores St George lacks. read more

Me and my boyfriend went to this mall and had a good time until We went to the shoe store journey. One of the employees with long black hair approached us and asked if my boyfriend needed any help. We asked if he and a shoe in a certain size and he said he would check in the back. When he came back he showed us what he had and we decided on a shoe we liked. The entire time we were with him He only spoke to my boyfriend. As we approached the cash register I personally got out my wallet to pay for the pair of shoes, once I gave him the price requested (32dollers!) he checked my 20$ bill for authenticity. After that he started counting out my change he owed me, and instead of giving it to me he handed it to my boyfriend along with the bag of shoes that I personally paid for. After all of this I felt very upset at the employee. I'm not sure why he treated me this way but I feel like it's possibly because I'm an Asian female. read more

I'm from Orange County, where I'm surrounded by malls. Yet, Red Cliffs holds a certain amount of charm. It's not large, but the size suits the town. I stop by a few times a year, and it seems to be growing. It has an even balance of low, mid, and high-end merchandise. First of all, to you people saying this mall is "adequate" for the town size, ya'll need to get out more, because I have been in towns wayyyy smaller like Glenwood Springs, Colo. and their mall is sadly comparable. Do you all not realize St George is a metro area of 150,000+, the 7th largest city in Utah today! so NO, this mall is NO WHERE near adequate for the "town" size!! It was adequate and in its prime back in the early 90s when it was first built. It actually had a food court and every mall's signature place, Orange Julius. Hot Topic came and was a hit for area youth while it lasted, then many stores closed down nationally, including Red Cliffs' store. Since then the first and only Victoria's Secret in the state outside the Wasatch Front opened its doors and seems to be doing well today. I look at the logistics and demographics of the area, in addition to the already severely suffering mall industry nationwide, and the fact that St. George is basically in the greater Las Vegas market, locals like the big-city variety and it's a close by get away. Please stop blaming the city's size, we are larger than Logan, Grand Junction and Flagstaff, and I know for sure at least Grand Junction and Flagstaff have decent sized malls, so town size is NOT the issue here. read more

Very small mall.. nothing like the ones in Vegas. BUT, it did have a Barnes and Noble, Victoria Secret, and Bath and Body Works so it was "enough" to help kill some time while I was in town and waiting for a show to start. It's not awful but it's also not much. read more
