Went here at 7:00am on a Wednesday. Loaded the cart up with around $400 worth of groceries. They only had self checkout. They don't have conveyor belt self-checkout, just the one where you can fill like 2 bags. I asked, since I had a massive cart full of groceries, if I could have someone ring me out. They said I'd have to wait, 2 hours, until 9:00 because "we don't have anyone working". Mind you, there were dozens of employees in the store, many of whom were chit chatting "stocking shelves". So Walmart is now paying an employee to walk around the store with my cart putting everything I selected back on the shelf, or likely having to throw it all away because it's food, because they refused to scan my goods. Well played, Walmart. The $30 you would have had to pay ONE worker to be the checkout person from 7:00-9:00 would have been cheaper than the $400 of groceries. Honestly, it was pretty satisfying. Maybe I'll just start filling carts up every morning and walking out of the store until they stop treating their customers like they are their employees. If everyone in the US just did this once a week we could probably bankrupt Walmart in a year or two... revolution anyone? read more

This Walmart is the worst of the worst. They are selling 29 dollars motion sensors trash can that have no better backs. I purchased one and discovered it had no backing to hold the batteries. Went back to same sure and see that the trash can in the store also has no battery backing. The coach Monica. Loris and loss prevention person said I should go to the freedom. Store for a Replacement. Now I have to deal With the corporate office and district manager to handle the issue. I as the customer should not have to use My battery justice to erode to another location to fix an item that was sold here defective. As three stars indicates, it's A OK in my book. It's newer and nicer than the old ancient Walmart on the west side of town by the Target. Since we've been driving up and down 5th and 6th street for three weeks from the house to the hospital, this Walmart is convenient for us to use. Walmart is a good choice when you need soap and toothpaste and a rotisserie chicken and milk! I have friends that refuse to check out themselves so they would not like this store. I think I might have seen one lane open with a live employee scanning items. I used the self checkout and needed cash back which the option appeared for me to do so. Then as I stood anticipating the money to be dispensed it didn't and a warning appeared on the screen. I had to wait for the employee in our section of self check out machines to finish helping another customer. She had to put in a code and it printed another receipt for me to take to customer service to collect my money. I thought to myself: this is going to take forever!!! But to my surprise there was five employees behind the counter talking to each other and no customers in line. I guess this is where they hangout instead of working a register at checkout!! Worst customer service ever- twice now they have 'had a glitch' with pickup orders- they said the order was delayed, couldn't get my groceries until the next day. Then they said my order was ready for pickup, I drive in, wait an extremely long time to eventually be told they don't actually have my order and can't fill it, but I can go online and reorder it again. They never cancelled the original order that they didn't deliver, so now I have a hold on my credit card that never went away until I called customer service to ask what was going on. This has happened twice! Both times, employees have acted like they could care less, both at the store and on the phone. I will never shop at this store again. read more

This place is poorly stocked. Every time I've had to go here, half of their shelves are empty. Also, someone needs to teach the customers not to just stand in the middle of the aisles. Move your butts out of the way. I'm obviously in a hurry if I end up in Walmart instead of Meijer. Auto service department is an absolute joke!! They started my oil change at 11:55am, then at 12:00pm, a whole 5 minutes later they said they were finished. I waited in line for 20 minutes to pay for alleged oil change. I seen the man drive my car out of the garage and he hit the brakes pretty hard when he parked it. As I was pulling away I seen the man that drove my car out of the garage walking across the parking lot, I asked if he was the one that did the oil change on my car and he said he didn't know. WHAT??? HOW DO TOU NOT KNOW IF YOU DID THE OIL CHANGE ON THE CAR YOU DROVE OUT OF THE GARAGE??!! I called Valvoline, and Master Lube to ask if a full oil change could be properly completed on 5 minutes; they said not likely. It takes at least 8 minutes to drain oil completely and change filter. So really Walmart, what the fuck I pay for??? Never ever again will your shade tree wannabe clowns touch my car!!! read more

This review is for the Wal Mart in Springfield, Il. on LEJUNE Drive We were at your store on 8-28-19 at 11:19am. It took us 30 minutes to check out! While waiting in line, there were only 2 lanes open! We ask someone, in a yellow vest, if she could open another lane. She said it wasn't her fault, it was corporates!!!! After waiting another 15 minutes, she THEN called for another checker, and someone came. If it had not been for one particular item, we would have left the cart and gone somewhere else!!! The young man in front of us and the couple behind us agreed----we were not happy customers to say the least!!!! We will not be customers of your store any longer or any Wal Mart . I pay for the delivery service. I even will pay for express. Now no one answers the phone, not even for their own company (I was on hold with their help services for well over 25 minutes and no one answered for them). My express time came and went. I called no answer. Got a hold of help services, got help the FIRST time. They were going out to grab my order right then. 2 hours later- still no delivery. Called again- NO ONE is answerMing for their own company. Walmart may have low prices, but they suck on everything else. You have to shop and check yourself out because they only open 2 lanes at MOST! I would rather pay more and get WAY better service!! read more

Stopped in here while we were out of town visiting family. Had the unfortunate pleasure of using the men's restroom. Remember that scene in "Trainspotting" with the "filthiest toilet in Scotland"? Things are more lax during the late night hours it seems. It's true, only one register is open, causing long wait times in line. The parking lot is usually filled with shopping carts left abandoned all over the lot for several hours at a time. And shoppers are less likely to find items fully stocked. Although, I do see employees working to stock shelves at night. Whenever I've needed customer assistance, someone was always courteous and helpful. Either pick up the slack, or consumers will go elsewhere for their needs. read more

Walmart needs to update there policy's, my boyfriend that is in the military and over the age of 21 showed his ID and to buy beer and they told him no, on the policy for buying alcohol it says that military ID is accepted but the lady said she couldn't figure it out so she said no, they also make everyone with him there to show ID even though he was buying beer and other groceries. This was a very inconvenient and Walmart and they employees need to be more education and clear with policy's. Very disappointed in this company. Will not be going to Walmart again. read more

This is the biggest, cleanest, friendliest Walmart I've ever been to. It's true, there aren't many check out lands open but they try to utilize probably the 10 the self check outs. Sometimes they don't have what you need but that's Walmart. I come here once a week and have no complaints. read more

Love this Wal-Mart. I shop here ALL the time, however I'm giving them 3 stars because the bathrooms are DISGUSTING! And this is AFTER they've cleaned the toilets, it's like someone just wiped the top of the seat off but there's feces caked to the underside of the toliet! I had done business with this location about twice a month for the last four years. This location was the best of the three in town, not so anymore. I spent longer in line at the checkout than I did shopping and was then subjected to the "I need to see your receipt" on the way out. I only went there for simple convenience as it is near my home, never again. I'm 63, a government accounting professional, never been in the back of a squad-car or in a jail cell, and will not be treated like a criminal just to pick-up a couple of groceries and some lawn fertilizer. I am back to spending my money at the local shops, not that Walmart or it's board will care. read more

Nice looking store on the outside, plenty of truck parking at the end of the lot, Golden Corral next door. Friendly employees, clean store, very easy to get to from the interstate. Truckers don't throw trash on the ground please, I just sat here in my truck and watched a fellow driver just toss garbage on the ground. I went into the store to have a watch battery replaced. The lady behind the counter told me they only replaced batteries in watches they sold. I explained that I had purchased the watch from the store several years prior and had even had the battery replaced at the same store. She argued with me for several minutes that Walmart never sold that brand of watch. I gave up and walked away. read more

I'd love to select ZERO stars. I've had nothing but problems and today was the last straw. I dropped off my husband's prescription order at noon. Came to pick it up at 3:30 and was told there was a discrepancy between the quantity and the dosage. They didn't call to make us aware and they didn't call the prescribing doctor to figure it out. Instead they thought the best course of action was to sit and wait until we came in while they did nothing. I called the hospital and was on the phone with the prescribing doctor within 4 minutes, you're welcome for doing YOUR job for you. We came back to pick up the prescription and they said there was an issue. Something about not being able to submit it to our insurance. Again, they did not call and make us aware of yet another issue but thought the best course of action was to do nothing. It's too late to call my insurance to figure out the problem. The pharmacist said they will try to submit it again and if not they'd call tomorrow. Maybe they should have called our insurance when they submitted it and noticed it wasn't processing.Not to mention this prescription is for an infection that could potentially spread to my husband's blood and cause serious complications or even death and these people chose twice to do nothing about some fixable issues. I will NEVER step foot in a Walmart pharmacy again, I've washed my hands of this place and moved the prescription elsewhere. My advice: don't expect these people to do their job or handle prescription processing issues at all. This place is a joke. read more

my wife had knee replacement need to use ur handicap cart we got some shopping done and stop to eat at McDonald in ur store so we park the cart next to the rail. When we came to get the cart to finish our shopping it was gone and everything we had in it was gone. Ur employee Sammy took it saying it was there to long, we was eating less then 10 mins. She was saying something under her breath while walking past my wife, She had no right to remove the cart with stuff in it. She should have come in McDonald and ask about before taking it. read more
