Some things are decently priced, like the bakery in the back and the bulk section. But today is my last trip to FF for the duration of this pandemic unless major changes in health policy are made with the staff. No one wears a mask, no staff practices social distancing, they work in close proximity (inches!) of each other without any protective gear, and they openly wonder about the merits of social distancing. Staff will walk into your personal space when focused on another customer. The store is cramped and so social distancing is difficult to practice with other shoppers. I don't want the staff to get sick. I want a unique local business to survive. But I don't feel safe shopping there, and I also don't want to support a health food store that won't actually engage in proper emergency public health policies! If the price is good for you, then take advantage of their curbside pickup, pay over the phone, call them to say you're outside, but don't go inside. It doesn't feel safe.

I ordered food and told the guy I'd be outside, which he responded he'd be out to bring it to me. Time passes. Neighboring tables are getting big orders delivered (people who got there after me). Eventually my friends leave and my elderly dog is burning up on the patio (The neighboring bar were the only ones who offered him a dog bowl). By the time half of our table leaves we go in to check on the food. They say it's coming... we check on the food again. They say it will be right up. It was not. I ask for a refund, the guy says "it's done, do you still want it?". I sigh and say yes. Five more minutes pass... I settle on my refund from a woman with a shitty attitude. No apology, no nothing. However, the guy who rung me up looked like it was an inconvenience to make a sale. Plenty of craft beer to make most people happy. Yes, some of it may be a little old (check the dates on the bottles), but with an entire wall the length of the store filled with craft beer, you're sure to find something fresh (or something they inadvertently aged for you) that makes you happy. US brewers from the Midwest, Colorado and the West Coast are well-represented. There are some Belgians and other imports as well. Plenty of bombers, six packs and sampler packs. Prices were average compared to other places.

Once we got home we opened it to find mold on the inside of the lid. Things happen out of many of our control but the low rating is because how they handled it. I had returned it within 15 minutes of the purchase and showed it to the same cashier who of course remembered me. He called the manager or owner and after telling him what happened handed me the phone. I was then told over the phone that they couldn't do anything until their supplier looked at it! I was willing to just exchange it but they would not even do that. They said that they would call me. I had yet to hear back so called today. They gave me an "Oh yeah, can you call back tomorrow?" This is very poor business in my opinion.
