This is Walmart...and it seems weird to bother to review a Walmart but here we go... This is my Walmart. I shop here a couple times a month. I don't really expect much from Walmart but today's visit was worth a review. I went to buy some flowers. I park at the garden center, notice the sign says open from 8-8. Perfect. I walk in, load a bunch of plants in my cart and head to checkout at the garden center. But that would be too easy. There is an employee standing there and I notice the "lane closed" sign is at the register. I inquire of the nice man who says the register lady closed at 2:00. It is 3:30. This means I have to walk allllll the way to the checkout lines to purchase my cart full of plants. Which I did. I put half of my plants on the conveyor belt and the very nice cashier said she can come around to scan my plants, which she did. When I was done paying, she is having to wipe the plant dirt off of the conveyor belt before people put their groceries or clothing items on there. I apologize and tell her there was no one to check out at the garden center so I had to walk all the way to her and then all the way back to my vehicle which was parked at the garden center. I was very frustrated. I will say the employees that I spoke to were both very nice and apologetic. But, come on Walmart, pay an employee to work at the garden center! At least I got my steps in today. read more

I like to shop at this particular Walmart location because it is within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping centers. The area is usually crowded to drive in just because it is a really busy area, however, if you use your gps to use backroads, you may be able to avoid much of the traffic. This Walmart has a calm atmosphere and unique parking lot layout. The store overall is clean and organized with plenty of inventory. The bathrooms are kept clean. The staff seem friendly, approachable, and helpful. They have a good amount of electric wheelchairs for handicap/disabled people. I feel safe to shop at this location with my family and alone, which I have done frequently regarding this location. read more

No one in Garden center at 10am on a Tuesday, just needed garden soil. went to the front and at the register they said they couldn't ring it up and sent me to stand in line at customer service. customer service said I had to go get the soil from outside on the opposite end of the store and bring it in and purchase it then bring it back out to my car..... what? why could you not just get someone to check me out in the garden center? I left and tried to call the manager of the store, Scott, and was placed on hold for over an hour then hung up on. I will be shopping at anywhere but Walmart. read more

Fortunately the young lady I found was more than pleasant and helped me purchase the cable I needed. As with most retail stores there are times I go in and the store is out of stock. Each time, the store manager or person in charge at the time informed shoppers that the store was closed while patrons were literally in line. I checked the website before coming to have my oil changed this morning. I was thrilled to see they opened at 7:00am as I have a very busy day and time management will not only affect me but the other people involved in my planned activities. It is now 7:28am - I have been sitting on the parking lot of the automotive center since 6:50am and there is no acknowledgement. Someone walked into the floor of the area but never acknowledged the customers. The door is still locked. At least 4 other customers who were waiting in line have left.... make that 5. Stopped by for just a few things and I was shocked at all the empty shelves. The children's department has bikes, but everything else is pretty empty. Why??? The cashier lady was super cool. So I'll be nice and give this place three stars. Good customer service is very important to me and at some Walmart's that is non-existent. Walmart is excellent with their marketing, advertising, ROI, and inventory records, yet this store fails to see what is on the floors, or simply does not restock shelves. Design... Why do all Walmart's have different flooring plans? All Walmart's should be designed with the same floor plan to make the shopping experience easier for the customer. I'm big on great customer service & BIG SMILES! I usually don't patronize Walmart due to personal reasons. But today I was looking for a particular item & Walmart carries it. I wish I could give this experience "0" stars ... this place is full of workers with LAZY MINDSETS. 1st: my daughter & I were in the furniture department for a good 15-30 minutes when "Devin" showed up . "Devin" showed up, turned around, & avoided us. My daughter got his attention & this guy literally gave every excuse in the book why he couldn't help us get the item & then gives me false information. "Devin" had the appropriate tools to help us but decided not to help! 2nd: We walked to the front of the store for assistance & none of the "workers" in this particular area had any knowledge or understanding about the "assembly card", how to ring up the furniture items, or whose suppose to assist me. So "Fitzroy" whose wearing a different colored vest because he's a "CSM", turned his head, shook his head, & mumbled under his breath ... I guess him assisting us would be under his "pay grade". "Fitzroy" stood there on his cell phone because he did not want to "work", although his job is to assist CUSTOMERS! Finally he walks to the back to get the item & walks back to the front with his lips poked out like he's pouting , left the basket next to us & walked away REAL QUICK! I'm truly puzzled & feel like I'm in the twilight zone! Nobody knows anything, the men don't want to assist women customers, & etc etc etc. 3rd: We wait & wait & wait for someone to assist us with getting some furniture in our car. I did not catch this particular guys name, but he was in lala land. I thanked him for helping us , but he needed a 2nd person to assist him, the box was heavy. 4th: I bypassed the Walmart that's closer to my home because I thought I would find more items at this Walmart. I did not find more items , but I did find LAZY MINDSET WORKERS! I think the manager needs to reevaluate his workers & some continuing education/training needs to happen! All of these Super centers are pretty much the same. I don't think there is anything special about any of them that separates them from the others. What stuck to me this particular day was the fact that I was looking for a printer as Best Buy didn't have what I was looking for. Walmart didn't have any and from the looks of it no other Walmarts had any either. I ended up going to Target. I normally have longer reviews but there just isn't much to say about certain places. read more

I can't say enough about this store!!! I recently moved to this area from Las Vegas Nevada. Overall the store is very clean and well organized and the employees seem to really care about the customers. The bathrooms are clean , and the most important reason for this comment is what happened today to me in the tire center. I went in because my car tire on the front driver side picked up a nail and immediately start losing air I had to call my husband to come and take off the tire and follow me to the nearest Walmart . I proceeded to talk to someone to get some help! I have purchased tires in Vegas which I cannot say the same for their customer service is horrible ! But at this location there was a gentleman I cannot remember his name but he had red hair red beard and blue eyes he was very personable he was an assistant manager he really cared about what was going on! He saw that I was taken care of right away he put my spare back in the car and put my tire on and gave me a new tire because I had road hazard! This really made my day because I didn't get this kind of service back in Vegas even though I've visited Same Walmart over and over again , because it was close to me. And I was always frustrated with their service but today the customer service was so A1 , I am going to tell everyone about this location! It was a young lady behind the counter who was just as courteous. Considering they had a very irate customer there who was screaming to the top of his lungs, issuing threats , to the employees , and the store , and even then ---the employees maintained their composure, and they took care of that irate customer , who was practically terrorizing everyone, there with his rants , about his tires.. all in all this is a top Walmart Super Center!!! We pulled in to see a dozen cops with a helicopter hovering overhead while a guy was being arrested. Some poor guy was shot and killed here not very long ago. I almost got hit while entering in the cross walk. I tried to buy a product today, but the UPC didn't register so I was told I couldn't buy it. Have they never heard of a price check? Several stalls in the women's restrooms in the front and back of the store have missing door latches. I would have complained, but there was a long line at customer service. It is bad enough that only two registers were open but when I got in lineto check out the cashier was on her phone then she left for a few minutes ewhile I was in line,she continued to talk on her phone while trying to check me out!! I have never worked at a job where I could be on the phone while waiting on customers! I came to get an oil change 01/16/23 and the lady asking for my car information was rude. I went to the front bathrooms and they looked like they hadn't been cleaned ever. Grime everywhere, shit in 2 out of 4 toilets, no toilet paper in the only clean bathroom stall, and when the custodian came he just stood outside the bathroom on his phone. I track down a coach which took like 20 minutes to tell them about the bathrooms. I return to Tire and Auto to check the status of my car and no one has touched it even though it's pulled in and ready to be worked on. When I came no one was in front of my car and it's been almost an hour now and no one has touched it. The status on the app is "checked in". I am so disappointed read more

Be very cautious if you use their grocery pickup. Orders always are missing from the order, yet always seemed to be charge on my card. Before you leave the parking lot please pull aside and check your items match with what you ordered. Very unreliable service, great way to pad their pockets during a pandemic much to the disadvantage of the customer. Please check your items!!! If an item is refunded please check you bank statements to make sure it reflects the refund. read more

A NICE CHANGE FROM THE NORM! I had a really unique experience at this particular Walmart. First of all it is one of those older designs with a straight front, side and rear section, (no secret additional aisle). It was easy to get what I needed here because the staff was very helpful. They were actually roaming around, offering assistance to customers. Each time I had a question, it was easily answered which made my shopping experience quick and easy. The store was clean and organized and I was able to get what I needed. Since there was only register open, I exited through self-check with no problem. When it comes to Walmart, it is what it is and you should just plan on self-check during certain times of the day and especially when you are only purchasing a few items. It just makes your overall experience much better. If I need to do volume shopping, I simply do so very early so that there is no inconvenience. During my visit in this store, I did not notice a "site to store" shipping department which allows you to order on line and pick up items at the store with free shipping. I have used this service quite often and know that customers would appreciate having that same convenience here. Hopefully, this will be considered in the future. 4/30/17 I returned to this store on 4/29 to purchase allergy meds. Due to the predictable layout and great signage, I had exactly what I needed and was through that self-check register within five minutes. It was not a dream! This is a great store that is easy to shop and easy to exit. As a rule, I avoid Walmart on the weekends unless it is around 7:30 am because it is usually crowded and poorly staffed. Not this time! This is that Walmart that you encounter when on vacation in small towns. You run in to handle business and suddenly you have fallen down the rabbit hole or slid into another dimension because things are so different. This time, different is GOOD! I would not recommend this location I am now late for my dinner because I came into the store at 5:20 on the dot and I'm just now leaving at 6 o'clock but between that 40 minute span of time I had to search the entire store for Walmart employees which were nowhere to be found then once locating the hiring/store manager they wasted another 20 minutes of my time just to tell me that the day manager has taken the specific key for this specific box things like this should not be happening at Walmart the corporation it is a sloppy mistake and I'm not pleased. read more

It's somewhat rare for my wife and I to leave reviews for shopping store workers but after being attended to by Theo (from Wal-Mart in Snellville), we felt compelled to leave this review. Yes, it's true. Like many others, we too feel that this store has gone downhill quite a bit over the last few years. The pain points at this location are numerous and considerable ranging from stocking issues and irregularities, broken checkout stations, and the occasional unavailability of motorized chairs to absentee staff members (particularly at the cashiers station and on the floors). As such, we have been disappointed more than a few times at this location. However, there can be a bright side to even the most abysmal of disappointments. Always customer centered, attentive, efficient and just friendly, we're referring to a cashier named Theo! It's so rare to encounter any store worker who is very knowledgeable about stocked items, is fast and efficient, or neat, clean, and orderly but, to find one who is also competent, pleasant, and patient, is a rare find indeed. Theo greets customers with a genuine smile and a level of professionalism unmatched by other workers at this location. She actually makes us feel like we made the right choice coming to the store and that the trip wasn't an abstract waste of our time. Overall, her demeanor makes shopping at this location much more pleasant than it actually is. read more

I swear every time I visit a Walmart my shopping experience worsens and this local is one of the worst for being dirty and highly unorganized! Shelves and hangers are overladen with stuff that seriously is just thrown haphazardly on them, and forget finding a person to help locate an item unless the item being searched is one of the popular ones most any retailer stocks. Lines are atrocious and they never open enough registers to efficiently move them along! Another pet peeve of mine is the lack of open self serve checkouts at this local; hey Walmart, you spent a lot of green to add all these self check registers to your stores but here's a novel concept....have them ALL working and open for use!!!! Parking at this local is a hazard as well and the lot layout for entry and regress plain out sucks! Honestly, the ONLY reason I even shop here is that they are the only place that carries the carpet Pet Stain and Deodorizer I like. Other-than-that, I avoid Walmarts in general and really don't see any savings advantage to them over other retailers. Sure, a person may save a few dollars on their overall purchase, but for me, the time waisted looking heedlessly for items and standing in long lines to get the heck out offsets the few pennies or dollars saved. No stars for this store. I am an out-of-town shopper attempting to place a order for a sandwich tray with the deli department. I called the store ten times over the course of two-hours. I spoke to someone only once who said she would connect me to the deli. I called back after her unsuccessful try, only to ask her to page someone. I called the pharmacy department and asked to speak to the manager and she gave me the stores number. Does anyone working there have a clue? The worst customer service was displayed. A little dismayed by the recent lack of respect for a customer, I called the Lawrenceville store on Sugarloaf Pkwy and they answered immediately. This Walmart is pure boo boo. As with any other Walmart the lines were ridiculously long. 2 lines open per 100 customers appears to be the standard. The items in stock were lacking. Other Walmarts have reduced fat Alfredo sauce. Not this one. This one only had 1 brand of fettuccine. Surprised they had that. Their inventory must be based of the demographic or something because each store is slightly different. I've always hated shopping at Walmart - something about their lighting disturbs me. Two things: 1) avoid the McDonalds in this store. IF you get waited on, the food isn't worth the wait. Staff actually stand in front of you at the counter and until they are ready to ask you if you would like to order, they will smile and IGNORE you. I know - I didn't believe it either, but it happened to me the other day. Oh, and this was while someone from the hair/nail salon was visiting with someone on the McDonalds staff. Quite possibly, staff at the McDonalds and the hair/nail salon could use some refresher courses in customer service. Or, just some common courtesy. Either way, F- for the McDonalds at this location. and 2) nothing that you'll buy here is what you believe the price to be. Learn to read a bar code because it'll come in handy more than you would think. The price tag on the shelf, even though located directly under the item, is not what the price actually is. The check-out process (if you can find an open register with a person at it) will turn into an ordeal with price checks on just about everything in your cart. I don't know why I should be surprised when a cashier asks me if I checked the bar code BECAUSE it happens ALOT at this location. Why ?? This Walmart is by far my favorite in all of Lilburn & Snellville! I drive past 2 to shop at this one. The employees are always so friendly.. I have yet to meet a "typical" grumpy associate that works there. To have quick check out service.. Go to the self serve stations.. Quick and easy! Otherwise unfortunately you do deal with the 1 register open for 100 customers. (It must be a Walmart policy). They offer a new "pizza station" ... It's a rolling oven that has "ready to go" pizzas.. $5 each and they're huge! After 6pm sometimes, they mark them down to $2.50. Great deal either way! Love this store! P.S: I absolutely hate the panhandlers that stand outside this store.. (I'm not sure if Walmart allows them or not) but! I've seen the same panhandlers at this Walmart and Target down the street.. And just so you know.. The panhandler with her newborn child on her IN THE COLD, is fake and false. She holds a sign saying "lost my job, can't feed my kids". Well, her husband is sitting around in the back of the parking lot in a brand new silver town and country van.. So don't fall into the trap of these false criminals. read more

Customer service is horrible here year after year. I bought a pair of work gloves that are wal-mart brand "Hypertough" but the stitching came out after literally a few minutes of use. I returned them immediately but did not have the receipt since they only cost $8 dollars I just threw the receipt out after purchasing. Their store has a no receipt policy that is up to management to decide which items they will or won't take back without a receipt, I figured surely an $8 pair of gloves that is their own brand which has almost no signs of use but has all the stitching coming out on one glove would be acceptable. The customer service manager "Kathy" told the young lady running the register at returns to not accept my return before I even got to the register. I could see Kathy standing behind me out of the corner of my eye with her finger pointing at me shaking her head in a no fashion. She was communicating with the girl at the desk letting her know not to accept my return although at that point she didn't even know I didn't have a receipt. When it was my turn the girl immediately said they couldn't do the return which then I replied "was it because that woman told you not to?" She replied "yes". So this confirmed to me that even without the knowledge of me not having a receipt, Kathy decided she wouldn't take the return regardless. I asked to speak to someone about this and was immediately met by another young woman that asked the cashier why it wasn't taken and the cashier replied that Kathy motioned not to take it. This is when I was asked for a receipt but I replied that I didn't have it and I explained that it was a fairly inexpensive item and people typically would not keep a receipt for such an item. I also explained that it was their own brand which I find it unbelievable that they wouldn't accept it. I also stated calmly " I'm not trying to scam you for $8 dollars, I just want an exchange." I was then told that their policy excludes gloves from returns. I asked to see the policy and behold there was no such thing even remotely close to excluding gloves from returns. I was then told it's up to management and Kathy is management. Also, if their policy excludes gloves, then why ask for a receipt? In the end it was horrible and I think Kathy accepts or denies returns on the way "SHE" views people and isn't consistent with any policy that the store claims is in effect. I could only imagine with the right evidence that this could turn into a very ugly situation for Kathy. I hope they focus on quality costumer service in the future and train their management to be more professional. I don't care how long Kathy may have worked at Wal-Mart, she needs to have additional training and show more respect. read more

It shouldn't be difficult to just do ur job but clearly she isn't qualified to work behind a counter at Walmart. Rude employees and store. Went to Walmart around 10:01 PM. The store stays open till 11. Got to the customer service to return some curtains and pushed the button that said need help? When I pushed the button, the little kiosk responded help is on the way. After standing there for about 10 minutes I started to yell out because I could hear somebody in the back. No one came. Finally, one of the employees walked by and says customer service is closed. I asked her where does it say that? She said it always closes at 10. So I replied, the store is open till 11. But nobody came she said, so we closed. I told her I didn't see anything that was written that they closed at 10, only the store was open till 11, and she went and got her manager. The manager opened the door and then slammed it in her face, opened the door again, shut it again. I'm standing there wondering when's the assistance coming that still was showing up on the little kiosk. She finally came out and said, we are closed. Where is it listed that you're closed I asked. She says you'll need to go online to see the rules for customer service. When I left customer service it was around 1020. We checked out at the self check out at 10:31 and the door that we came in was closed and locked. We were parked right outside the door, and it was raining. We had to walk in front of the store in the rain to get to our car at 10:35 in the evening when Walmart closes at 11 PM. I know it's Walmart but if you're going to close at 10, why don't you just close at 10? read more

Customer Service is nonexistent at this location. I've been on hold for a CSM for 23 minutes and still no one has picked up. While on hold I've called again on a different number and asked to speak to the store manager. I've been on hold for the manager 10 minutes without anyone answering. Completely unacceptable time to wait. I recommend you go to Target down the street before going to this Walmart because if you need assistance you won't receive it here. read more

I have called twice now with no response from the manager in regards to my complaint which is about Walmart policy. I was asked to leave by a theft Prevention manager this past Sunday and escorted to the register to check out...his reason my dog a service animal was not allowed in the store. After reading up on Walmart policy online he should have asked if my animal was a service animal and that is it and based on my response proceeded, however this was not the case and being escorted to the register and watched over like a common criminal is not customer service...I do hope to hear from the manager or management in regards before having to take this matter further. read more
