I sat on hold for 25 minutes to see if my prescription was transferred here. Only for them to keep putting the phone back on hold. No please hold, just 25 minutes of elevator music. I mainly go to Walgreens for photos. I love using them for printing out Holiday cards or just photos in general. However, they do not offer all types of printing for same day pick up. This particular Walgreens is located in Lawrenceville off Five Fork Trickum Road and close to Oak Road. It is pretty awesome. Why? It's one of the few that does same day special printing. A few years ago, I came here to get the same day pick up for an Instagram frame. Note - not all Walgreens do this! Recently, I came to pick up some address labels. Staff is outgoing and sweet. Had to purchase a heating pad for my back yesterday got home only to find it didn't get hot enough even on the highest setting, not to mention it was Walgreens brand. When attempting to return the merchandise, I was given the business, the cashiers always told me my receipts go to my email address, but when returning this item no receipt in my email, the cashiers was very rude and continuously rolled her eyes, as if she was irritated. I finally got help from another gentleman in the store and got my funds put back on my flex spending card. read more

The pharmacy moves very slow. Was told my order would be ready at 10:00am. I showed up at 11:15 and still had to wait until 11:45am.

They changed their hours and now the lines are terrible. I waited 30 minutes at 8:15 and finally got my prescription.

Pros: Good and fun seasonal merchandise. Good photo prints. Cons: 'Not-so-good", unflattering passport photos. This is a reminder for myself not to make passport photos here. I don't mean not this particular Walgreens, any drug stores in general. I got passport photos here 3 times, but all of them are really "Not-so-good" quality and outcome. Let me get to the point, the images in their passport photo looks fuzzy and blurry, and the color of your face and clothes look faded. It makes the image absolutely unflattering. My photo even looked like a mug shot. I personally don't want to use it as something to represent me in an ID used globally. You would think, "why, they sell something that meets the passport standard." Yes, they have a big and bright white fluorescent lights, white back drop and have a template on the computer, so it will pass the test as a passport photo. But the problem is their old, outdated digital camera. Since our eyes are used to the new school iPhone camera with 12 mega pixels and 4K videos that produce sharp, vivid, and flattering images, that makes the passport photo shot with an obsolete dinosaur camera so unflattering. The detail of your face would look fuzzy, and color of you and clothes would look faded. Meaning, you would look worse than real you in person in their passport photo. It was probably OK back in 20 years ago, but it's not OK with with me today. It's not just this location, I think any passport photo shot at any drugstore would look unflattering. I had a same problem with CVS as well. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied, so I returned all of them. So my go-to for passport photo is Photogenik Photo Studio located in Sugarloaf Mills Mall. I had very flattering successful passport pictures and other photos m there. They have photography level professional lights and camera. You can't go wrong with this place. While Walgreens charge $15 for 2 passport photos, Photogenik charges $20 for 2 for adult, $15 for 2 for kids. If you are picky about photos, you would go there and get that done by a pro. read more

After driving an hour to pick up my son's graduation cards, I found out that the cards were not ready. However, the manager, Admam, and his staff were genuinely concerned with my order. Admam went so far as to offer to drive my cards an hour away to the closest Walgreens for me. I was a little frustrated, but decided to wait a few minutes while they try to get the machine working. To my surprise he called to tell me they were able to print my cards and I could pick them up. The cards were beautiful and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service given to me and the concern that they had for my individual order. This store was bright, clean, and well organized. Every member of staff I encountered was pleasant and helpful. I will not hesitate using this Five Forks Trickum Walgreens for all of my future photo/drugstore needs. read more

Advertised as a 24 hour pharmacy- wrong! Apparently Walgreens is now just a overpriced convenience store with a pharmacy that closes at 9pm. I arrived a couple minutes before 9pm and the "pharmacist" said she was no longer filling prescriptions. The store manager had an attitude, had no idea where to fill a late prescription and simply said come back tomorrow. I don't know what has happened to Walgreens, but they seem to be hiring at the bottom of the barrel. If you want a knowledgeable pharmacist and great customer service near this location go to the Publix Pharmacy. If you need a late night prescription, there is a 24hr CVS at Toco Hills. And avoid Walgreens. read more

Horrible service and the manager does not follow Walgreens policy on western union pickups. Attempted to pick up $300 which is the approved max at any Walgreens and was told by Availe (manager at the time) that the max was $200. Too bad I've picked up $300 at least 3 times at this very location in the past week when a different manager was on site. The issue here is that the staff is apparently too lazy to go get cash from the back room and would rather deny a perfectly legitimate transaction when there were at least 3 associates standing around doing nothing. Spend your money at a place where they won't give you false information just because they don't want to take a few extra steps to take care of you. I find it very hard to believe that a standalone store has less than $300 on hand. Please come up with a better story if you plan on lying to your customers. read more

I was charged $39 for a prescription that costs only $4 at Kroger's and $9 at Target. When I asked the girl (in a blue coat) if they could give me a better price she laughed at me and said "what? you think you can bargain here?" I then told her that I was at another Walgreens and they were charging me $39 and I asked them if they could lower the price and they lowered it to $23. She laughed at me again and said well I ran the price using the Walgreens card and it is what it is there's no bargaining. I can understand that there are price differences between competing stores however to be disregarded and laughed at is just plain rude. read more

I called the Walgreens RX automated service. I then asked to speak to the Pharmacy. After Bing on the call for over 7 minutes, someone in the pharmacy disconnected the line. I went through he drive through to pick up a prescription. The lady came to the window and asked all the usual info. I had a discount card for the prescription and she didn't understand how to add it on. So she turns around, grabs her QT plastic cup and walks out the pharmacy door out into the store and just leaves. Leaves me sitting there for 5-6 minutes before another lady came and asked if I had been helped. She helped me and everything was fine. But for someone to literally just turn around and walk off was the rudest thing ever. I don't think I have ever written a review for any place until now. It infuriated me. I'm very extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service in the pharmacy department at this location. The pharmacist by the name of Marsh P, is completely rude and arrogant. I came in at 6:20 p.m. today to drop off a prescription and I fully intended to sit there and wait for it because I was on my way home from work and the doctor's office so I've already been in traffic for a good hour and a half. I attempted to drop off my prescription and the pharmacy tech was assisting me and then advised me that my prescription won't be ready till 8 p.m. I asked very calmly is there any way that I can get it sooner because I'm on my way home I'm not here to just drop it off I wanted to go ahead and get it today within a reasonable amount of time. Marsh decided to to chime in and say what they had 29 other prescriptions in front of yours so 8 o'clock is the soonest you'll get it. So I then directed my statement to him and I said well almost 2 hours to wait for a prescription is a long time I'm on my way home I don't live in this area I can't wait here for 2 hours. Marsh shrugs his shoulders like oh well. So I asked for my prescription back and the pharmacy tech didn't really know what to do so he asked Marsh she wants your prescription back he says "let her have it". Like oh we don't care... How disrespectful.... you have no idea how important or life-threatening my medication may be, you weren't even a part of the initial conversation but decided to chime in and be rude about it. His tone was very condescending and unnecessary. I honestly believe if he spent more time actually doing his job and less time chiming in on conversations that had nothing to do with him maybe he could get through the filling prescriptions more faster. Also like to add that I made a complaint about him to an associate in the front. The sad thing is when I told her who it was she shook her head like she already knew that he was bad news and she apologized for his behavior. I definitely think this Walgreens should reconsider having this pharmacist on their team. I will never come back to this Walgreens again. I'll be more than happy to take my business somewhere else. Fyi, just dropped my prescription off at the CVS down the street and it's going to take 15 minutes. Plus the staff is very pleasant and accommodating just because.... This store is horrible. The only store close to my house that does business cards, so I placed my order to be picked up the next day. They emailed me at 7am saying the order was ready, I arrived and chose curbside pickup. It said curbside was unavailable so I went in. The girl could not find my order, was confused on what order I was talking about and then proceeded to tell me that they could not fill the order because they don't do same day. After I left, I got an email stating they were working on my order and my card was charged. I called the store asking if they got my order and she was still confused and told me that their machine was down even though they had several sets of business cards waiting to be picked up when I was in the store... I asked why my card was charged and she said that it wasn't possible to charge my card and that I could not get a refund until Monday when a manager would be in... customer service was horrible and this store definitely lost my future business. read more

I have chosen to no longer go to this Walgreens due to the extremely poor service I've consistently received at the pharmacy. The last time I picked up a prescription at the drive through, they only gave me one of the prescriptions (one was over the counter). When I went in, the woman working was so unhelpful, and actually read the prescription wrong and told me the wrong dosage for the OTC medicine I then had to try and find myself. read more

Appeared to focus any energy she had into making her customers miserable as well. Her disposition was so miserable I might be fascinated if I wasn't so darn busy and needing competent persons to fill a pill bottle for me. I can't begin to say how wonderful Michael (the pharmacist) was last night with his customer service. We were going out of town, and I had to have my prescription. The doctor's office had made a mistake, and Michael quickly corrected it quickly and even did more for exceptional customer service. This is our neighborhood store. We frequent this store multiple times a week. We know so many employees by name. I simply can't begin to say how much I appreciate this store AND it's fabulous employees.
