So, today I was picking up my prescriptions at the North Salisbury Walmart, and I overheard an employee on the phone saying the N-word over and over. She saw me looking at her and discussed, and she rolled her eyes at me and said stupid B&$?"needs to mind her business. I do not know what department this woman worked in, but I did ask a manager what her name is Lisa Strohm. Went in the story today for 1 item. Went up front to checkout to find they only had 1 lane up with self checkout closed. The lane was backed up to in the clothing aisle and took notice of customer service having 2 people. When I was greeted by the associate they asked politely if I was returning, which I replied with no just wanna check this one out. She gave me a blank stare. I stated I didn't want to wait in that long line for one item. She went on about saying that if that's something they did then everyone would do it. I told her I worked customer service for 5 years and we had to check people out. Granite it was a different business, one that actually provided real customer service. Like if you would have checked me out I would have been gone already but instead you are choosing to argue and making it difficult. Not like I showed up with a cart. THE PREMAID FRUIT SALAD WAS PUNGENT WITH A CHEMICAL ODOR!! I took a small bite of the apple and that's when I realized the chemical smell was literally in the fruit!! Either someone intentionally sprayed the fruit prior to sealing it or it's stored in an area with poisonous chemicals! read more

Bright, clean, well stocked. Slightly confusing layout, but employees are very helpful. No complaints.

One of the less than amazing Walmarts I have been to. Very weird layout. I am lost finding things a lot, and I've been going to the Salisbury location for quite some time now. Lines are absolutely ridiculous. Self check out line frequently goes past the fruit/veggie aisle. Occasionally, the scanning lines are open, but there are only 1-3 people running them. Lines are just as long in those as well. All employees I have run into are very friendly once you talk to them, though. read more

This is regarding the Fruitland, MD Walmart store. As others have said this store doesn't generally meet the standards most of the Walmarts I have been to do. Employees are sub-par, items are often strewn around not organized and frequently placed where the price is wrong and often out of stock. I asked one employee where I would find something and she was busy on her cell phone and blew me off kind of rudely, and this isn't unusual here. But yesterday I bought a small item and as I was leaving the guy at the door wanted to see the package and if I had a receipt, which isn't unusual but make note: You DO NOT legally have to stop and submit to this and if they put a hand on you, you might end up owning Walmart. So anyway, I pulled the receipt out of the bag and held it up for him also letting him peek into the bag but then he insisted I give him the receipt and started questioning me as to the price and other details. This seriously put me off, but this time I cooperated.. From now on I won't be stopping for their "searches". I hope others note this as well, this was a bit intrusive ... I don't go to Walmart to be interrogated by a "greeter". read more

This Walmart has gone down hill in the last 6 months. No fly curtains working on either end of the store and the flies are TERRIBLE. The a/c is not working in the deli or inside the dunkin and those poor employees are miserable. How can it be food safe if the food is all hot and covered in flies? Never can find or speak to a manger in there and the employees are all rude. Plus all I ever see is walmart employees sitting inside the dunkin eating their own food, taking away tables from dunkin customers. Don't ya'll have your own break room? read more

I went to this walmart at 9am on a Saturday to pick up two items that were ready on friday. I called multiple times intending to ask whether my order has been put together, with no answer after 4 attempts at calling for over 30 minutes and did not get connected to a single real person. I came in expecting my order to be ready after calling almost a week earlier asking to make sure that this bike was assembled, with a promise that it was going to be, and it wasn't. This was a very time sensitive case, and I ended up wasting Uber momey traveling for an order that wasn't ready. Couldve easily been avoided if someone wouldve picked up the phone. Overall, if you need something in a hurry, go to another walmart. read more

Bought a pair of headphones from Walmart's own "onn" company. Lasts a good 3-4 hours, not the promised 7.

I use the drug store section about 3 times a month. When I visit the store I always need to pick up a few things other than durgs. The employes are always very helpful. I am an 84 yr old white man. I have been around long enought to know that If do not like the way employes react to me I just go someplace else. I have used your store for about 20 yrs. If only we had one of these in the District (of Columbia)!!!!! I will always be a fan of Walmart, regardless of where I find myself living. Went here late, late last night (it's open 24hrs) and though most employees were stocking produce and other necessary things for the stay-at-home moms or weekender planners for next (Friday) morning, the cashiers were still upbeat and friendly. Found what I needed and didn't feel like I was truly in the ghetto. And talk about "rollback prices"!!! I would have make-up and other "luxuries" shipped from this place to DC if I could! I came through here with a few friends shopping for our dorms/apartments. Of course, we got lost because most of us were from 2+ hours away. I ended up asking an associate [Kelly] for help finding two products - and she was phenomenal! I appreciated her walking us around helping us find items, and just her overall patience. I don't usually expect that from Walmart employees, so this was a nice refresher. Besides that - the store was clean, we found everything we needed, and was able to check out quickly. Such poor customer service throughout the store and managers. I bought a tablet through store pickup for that day Thursday 15 minutes later get an email saying not in stock but will be available for pickup on Tuesday. I cancelled the order but no email confirmation called store said they cancelled it for me, check next day for the confirmation email nope not one again continued calling speaking to various managers all saying it is cancelled. Guess what never was had to go to the store on Tuesday was going to just pickup and return and instead of letting me do that they cancelled it right there now have to wait another 72 hours for my money to be returned. Called corporate and they are now looking into it for me. read more

I came in rushing to check out being that I had to get back to work, for some reason my debit card wasn't working, embarrassed, panicked and truly not feeling good to start with (had an awful headache and left work to get Tylenol so I could finish my shift) and he was so helpful, truly went above and beyond to help me! This store is lacking in the stock and shelves are empty of the same items of frequent trips. Their restocking is a major issue! Also the rotisserie chicken is being over cooked. It's not a one time issue. One I bought was"petrified. Threw away most of that one. Missing out on sales. Can't buy what isn't there?! Put lipstick on a pig, still a pig. This used to be the store in which I did the majority of my grocery shopping, but I got sick of the items I bought on a regular basis not being in stock. There have been times that I thought that I had entered a Kmart by mistake because the shelves were so bare. The other two major grocers in the area may charge more, but you know that you will be able to find most of the items on your shopping list. Soon, the new Aldi's will open nearby, so there will be even less reason to visit Walmart. It is a shame to see Walmart deteriorate the way stores such as Sears have done in the past. I went to walmart in fruitland, md.; on Saturday the man told me it would be 3 hours before I would get an oil change, I said I would come back later told the same thing with only 3 cars in front of me. On yesterday, I get to Walmart at a few minutes before five now mind you I understand that at a certain point they block the driveway showing no more oil changes, but when I got there there were two vehicles getting their oil changed and another vehicle waiting, so I get out of my car walk into the area and this one guy wearing glasses, earring in his ear saw me walked inside the building with another guy,both of them looked at me and did not say a word, another guy was waiting to be waited on inside came out to me and said "are u waiting for an oil change, I said yes; he said well that guy said he gets off at five and will not be doing any more changes, he did not have the balls to tell me that himself. What kind of service is that? I have been going to them for years and this is the kind of sevice I get now, they seem to be getting lazy, if they do not want to do the job..quit..If not you will be losing a lot of customers. read more
