Tell all associates to put there cell phones away and stop texting on them they don't pay attention to customers phones are more important. The associates who shop for customers are rude and not polite can't help customers. I think the district manager should come there and dress as a customer and see how the store operates. This store is rude and only good place is pharmacy the associates there help you and are friendly with customers. Manager u should start watching your employees in self check out area and associates who shop for customers and start writing them up or more of us start calling you for district manager phone numbers. read more

Parking is always a challenge at this location. I don't like shopping at such huge stores, but their prices on some items make it worth the hassle. Glad that they are adding more staff for checkout; I much prefer a person instead of self checkout. Curbside Pharmacy pickup is great if you don't need to go inside for anything else. read more

Everything was great, but the self checkout! Every time when we tried to pay with our cards, it's always the faulty terminal. We have to rescan everything we have brought to the cashier because the staff was aware of the faulty terminal and cancel our transaction. There's more to address it than just rescanning everything we have purchased. Don't go to the self-checkout lane, it's more likely you will encounter faulty terminals when paying with cards. read more

my brother was making content with Yugioh cards and was practically stalked to the clearance section, My fault, but i was under the assumption that the walmart on telegraph was called ahead because he was making a video on scalpers so he was opening a couple boxes in store, assuming they knew, instead this lady who i had seen just following him rudely interrupted and said"so you gonna pay for these"? ruining placement of said boxes. and made him pay for ALLL of the stuff he had including stuff he was only gathering for the video. did not give him a chance to explain. I saw the footage and was getting a lawyer involved but he told me it was not worth it. If they simply follow anyone in a skeleton hoodie and black pants who grabs cards its understandable but to be aggressive? ridiculous. That women needs to be sent to training and thats coming from an asset security manager. Went the the Telegraph store at 10:30am and there were empty flattened cardboard boxes in aisles, storage containers with no lids, no associate ever asked if I need assistance (but that's all the stores) but the worst was the checkout. 2 ways in (grocery side and home side) but no guidance where to go, self checkout registers with green lights but a small sign on the scanner saying it's closed. People form both sides where going to the same empty self check so it was a free for all. Again, associates were walking around not helping anyone except for 1 female associate and then the 2 cashiers (the other registers were unmanned). Alot of confusion and a lot of aggrevatied customers. As a former Wal-Mart employee, there used to be a rule that if you were 10ft from a customer, you had to ask if they needed assistance. Now I can go to Wal-Mart 100 times and never be asked by anyone. read more

Automotive department manager is not knowledgeable enough to hold his position...... they are giving me a hard time replacing a battery that is still under warranty but has an intermittent problem only when the temperature drops which I have nicely explained to them..... instead of just exchanging the battery they give me the usual mumbo jumbo...... this battery has now cost me four Uber trips and calling into work late twice and I don't have the extra $235 to buy another one at the moment do yourself a favor and never buy a battery from Walmart and it has been confirmed that there is nothing wrong with my vehicle read more

We went to our local Walmart early the other day around 8 AM on Telegraph Rd in Oakville MO (63125) to purchase a couple bags of Brown Year Long Color Mulch that was on sale for $2 per bag. When we went to the Outdoor location, the sales rep told us we could go through the self checkout lanes at the front of the store. Someone there could ring up the 2 bags for us; then we could drive to the pickup location and have them loaded into our vehicle. When we went through check-out with some other items, they scanned in the codes for the mulch but the cost was not $2 per bag. Instead they rang up at the regular price. The sales rep at the self check out said the $2 price was only if we ordered it online and then picked it up at the store. There was no mention of that on Walmart's website. So after we paid for our other items, we placed an on-line order while at the store using our cell phone thinking we would be able to pick it up right away. However, when we went back to the Outdoor area to get the mulch, they said they would have to contact the manager to allow us to pick up the bags because they claimed they were not ready for pick up yet. We then had to walk all the way back to customer service area to speak to the manager. We had to wait for quite a while since all the Walmart workers seemed to be talking amongst themselves and avoiding any customer contact. When the manager finally came out, she told us we had to go back to the pickup area and call one of the numbers posted on the blue customer pickup signs to get the bags loaded. We thought then we were all set. So we then walked all the way back to the pickup area again, and placed a call using the number on one of the blue signs. Finally, someone came out and we showed him our order on the phone, and he said he would be right back. We assumed he was going to come back and load up the bags for us and since we had parked our truck right next to the bags, we dropped the tailgate and waited for him to return. After waiting for him to come back, another Walmart worker came out and told us we could not pick up the bags after all since they were not ready for pick up. There was no indication anywhere when we placed the order that stated we would have to wait an extended period of time before the order was available, so after several trips back and forth between the Outdoor area and Customer Service, and then being told we still couldn't our order, we were fit to be tied. We were parked right next to the bags, and would have loaded them ourselves, but the Walmart worker would not allow it. We would have had to wait for over more 3 hours, and since we didn't live real close to the store and didn't want to make another trip, we just cancelled the order and left. There is no reason the Walmart staff could not have allowed us to pick up those 2 bags of mulch at that time and made some special note to themselves to mark the items picked up by the us once their system made them available. There certainly is no such thing as Customer Satisfaction at Walmart anymore. Perhaps, there was at one time, but not now. We are both retired and have been Walmart customers for many years at both the store and online, and because of this experience we have become very reluctant to shop at any Walmart again. Using Walmart online/delivery shopping has been a mixed bag. However, after reporting a Seller who sells "cases" of 12 items (for example, delivering only 1 item & charging for the entire case) over and over again for TWO YEARS according to customer reviews, Walmart upper management gave me a lame excuse of a computer error the Seller was dealing with "that month"! Again I told them about the two years of people reviewing them explaining how they were ripped off buying reams of copy paper & receiving only 1 or a box of 12 Uniball pens & receiving one ink pen in a bag (happened to me 7 times...I kept ordering, calling for a refund & trying to bring the problem to their attention). They have done nothing. There must be fraud & collusion at an upper level. read more

I was literally molested by a member of this stores loss prevention team when he appeared out of nowhere and placed his hand directly into my pocket (finding nothing in the process). I said i wanted a police officer present immediately and was told by a second employee that they were closing in 10 minutes so there wouldn't be anyone there to speak to the police. Knowing that there is ALWAYS somebody there, I was well aware that they simply thought that I'd go away and forget about the incident. I called the corporate office from the parking lot to report what had happened and an employee came out to tell me specifically that I couldn't be on the lot (there were at least 30 other cars present). I have secured legal representation to assist me in this matter. If you've dealt with anything similar to this, contact me. There is a line between doing your job and breaking the law. The man placing his hands into my pants broke the law and will be held accountable for his actions. Wal-Mart corporate will as well. *SIDE NOTE* They have a woman working in loss prevention that will claim to be a police officer. She is NOT a police officer, nor is she an LEO of any kind. She is a civilian. You are not obligated to share any information with this individual. She may appear to be threatening, but she's nothing more than a member of loss prevention. read more

There are 13 available reserved spots for pick up five of them. Have people just randomly parked there. It took 20 minutes just to get into a reserved spot. I tried to call to see if I could park elsewhere or just come in to get my stuff no answer there was a message to just keep trying to call, then someone came to my car and said my order was not ready even though I received a text message that it would be ready at six. It's now 645 and I still do not have my order. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

We went to check out tonight (Fri. eve) and there was only ONE checkout lane open. The rest were self checkouts. It was very busy and most customers had full baskets meaning the wait was long, about 1/2 hour. It's sad when it takes longer to check out than to shop. There needs to be more checkers open, especially on a busy night like Fridays. Walmart is getting worse about this more all the time! read more

Everyone who works in this store including the deli people DO NOT wear masks. Sure, they'll have a mask on their face but it's literally hanging on their chins as decorations. Mouth and nose exposed ESPECIALLY in the deli and grocery section which is literally disgusting considering they are handling people's food. I saw employees taking their masks on to talk with each other in the aisles too. People are also walking around the store with their masks not even on their face. It's stupid and irresponsible since how do you expect customers to act when employees are not setting a good example. I needed a fuse for my vehicle so we made a quick stop here. When I got to the fuses I had a hard time finding what i needed. Along came Stephanie and was a big help to me. She found just the fuse I needed. then walked me over to another aisle to show me where another item was for me. Then she took me over to a closed register and rang me up. Curbside pickup has gone so far downhill. I've been using this service since Covid to try to stay safe and keep others safe (in the event that I could ever unknowingly have asymptomatic Covid). The service used to be fine but over the last few months the issues have been more and more. A number of times I was told items are unavailable, like stick butter and bananas. Due to my skepticism, after picking up my order I've gone into the store only to see full shelves stocked with my "unavailable" items. Today I took the time to snap a photo of it. Seems like the workers have gotten very lazy and have poor work ethic. read more

I must say the Walmart Pharmacy on Telegraph Rd. Is wonderful, they honestly saved our dog Rocky's life! Our 3yr old dog has a severe case of Epilepsy and will go into grandmal seizures without his medication. I tried for 3 days to get ahold of my vets office to fill his meds with no luck The pharmacy staff tried numerous times to get his med filled by calling and faxing them for a refill with no luck, my Dog went without his meds for 1 day and had a major seizure, he fell down was shaking and urinated on himself, it was awful I was in tears afraid he wasn't going to come out of it! So I went to work and after I got off I went to Walmart to get his meds and of course they still had not received his medication refill from the vet, Rocky is on phenobarbital which is a controlled substance in MO. And it can't be filled with out a Dr,s approval! Mina, Zack, Kalie, Barb, Gretchen & Angie could see I was upset and crying worried about our dog, and they calmed me down and said that they would go ahead and fill his medication partially till the Vet called them back! I couldn't believe it, I was just amazed, and one of the sweet ladies came to me and said try another Humane Society instead of the one on Macklind so once I got home I gave Rocky his meds and called the Humane Society in Maryland Hts. And was able to get right trough to a tech and they approved my dogs meds! Amazing, anyway sorry to go on and on but I want people to know there is still good people out there that care, and I will forever be grateful to the entire staff for taking care of my dog he has had the medication in him for about and hour now and he already seems very calm, So again I just want thank the Telegraph Rd, pharmacy staff for saving my dogs life! Walmart has become so sloppy! Not just this location either! I am a self appointed Target snob. I prefer it for the quality and style and the effort they make to support the community they are in. The reasons Walmart isn't getting only 1 star for the sheer sloppy embarrassment of a store that it is: CHEAP camping gear CHEAP spray paint (TON of colors) CHEAP kids school supplies CHEAP electronics CHEAP medication With the exception of tank tops and the like, I will rarely buy clothes from Walmart. Ridiculous. We went to get 1 hr photos. Fuji apparently doesn't allow the photo machine to turn on till 12pm. The 1 hr photo promised 11:30am. We went back to check and the guy told us they'd be ready around 1130 (the 1 hr mark). We went back again and he then tells us that we can't get the photos till noon at least because Fuji doesn't allow the machine to turn on till 12. I asked- when then, what's the point of 1 hour photos? I tried the insta print but they said that some of those pictures won't print till noon either. Absolutely ridiculous. AWFUL customer service. Told me they wouldn't do exchanges for a different size/ they don't do exchanges at all. I've never heard of a place doing that and considering I was just at another Walmart where they did allow exchanges. I'll honestly drive further now just to go to a different Walmart. The lady in the cashier asked me if I was a Filipino, which is I am. Then I asked them, if does it matter? She asked me there was a code for everyone. What code????? Do they have a code for different race???? I called Wal mart and told them about this situation and they told me that they do NOT have such code. In LA they would have automatically apologize to me about what happened (standard thing to do when a customer is upset), but here nothing. When you need something quick, go to Walmart. This is the location closest to my house. Sometimes its very much a hit or miss here. I feel this one could use a big cleaning and upgrade and maybe reorganization to make it up to par with the others but because it gets customers from both South County and from Illinois, it is a good location. There have been times where I have felt the need to call the manager but the feel I get from the employees is that he won't do much about the complaints. This is the most absolutely worst Walmart I have ever been too. Every single time I have to go here the employees are always very rude,nasty and disrespectful. It also does not help when the so called "managers" are either: A. Just as rude as the the other employees. Or B. Do not care about their jobs so they just allow the employees to do and say whatever they want to customers. On my most recent visit I was needing to cash my Payroll Check at their Money Services department. When I made it to the area, they had already closed it 2 1/2 hours earlier than any posted time. When this happens you are supposed to go down to the customer service area and they are supposed to take care of you. So I did just that. But once I got there, there was 4 female employees standing around chatting to themselves, so I quietly and patiently waited for one of them to acknowledge that I was there. Once they did all 4 of them turned to me with very nasty looks in their faces. The one who was supposedly a manager said " What do you want?" With a seriously bad attitude. I politely said that I was needing to cash my check. That's when one of the other ladies said " yea I'm not gonna do that, I get off in 30 minutes" then the supposed manager said " you need to go to another store, so get lost". I was barely able to keep my composure and not say anything rude back. As I was quietly walking away I could hear the 4 of them running their mouths talking bad about me. So I went and found another employee to get a real manager, which was unable to be found at all. So I went out to my car to call the store. After sitting on hold for 27 minutes finally a person named John answered and asked what was wrong. Once I finished letting him know what all happened he tells me " well there's nothing I can do about it" and hangs up on me. read more

The store manager was rude. Condescending , in helpful . I came to store to grab diapers for my child I arrived at location 10 mins from closing to find that the doors were locked. The employee meaning the door stated he was told by manager that the doors are locked 20 mins before close because register all close on their own at 11pm. I found this strange since this location was 24 hours before Covid. Now they can't help customers. He begins to tell me a story about how you would not be able to order food at restaurant that is about to close. I found that to be inaccurate since I ran many of these businesses and we do accept orders until closing time. He time on the door is entrance time not exit time. I understand that he wants to get out of store fast on Saturday night. But treating us badly. Where I am unable to grab diapers and formula just to save him time. I am let down by the location And I think Walmart managers believe they are better then the people they serve. There was no empathy when I expressed my issue. This Wal-Mart is the closest to my home, so this is the one I go to. They've added the supermarket section to the Wal-Mart, so I do my blitz shopping here. I love the selection you have at Wal-Mart, although at this store, there are items where the selection is skimpy. In one visit to the store, I had a couple items that I specifically wanted to find (candles and plumbing equipment). While they had both items, they only had one type of tealight and one type of the plumbing equipment I was looking for. I wanted neither of what they had. I don't know how other Wal-Marts are, but at this one, it's like driving a car. Before you go into the intersection, you look both ways because you will more than likely plow into someone. The smaller aisles are too slender for the volume of customers they get there on the weekends. Since the remodel was done, I don't notice clothing or other items fallen onto the floor, so kudos to the personnel that keep it cleaned up. The main isles are fine, even with items stocked in the middle of them. A few visits ago, we bought some fried chicken (which smelled wonderful coming into the store), but when we got home, I discovered that it was undercooked. Had the store been closer to my home, I would have carted it back, instead it was wasted money and a lesson learned. Never buy fried chicken at Wal-Mart. Undercooked chicken is enough to put me off food for a couple days. Blech! I've pointed out my negative experiences at this store, but in general, I find what I'm looking for and at a price I consider reasonable in most cases. I don't normally ask for assistance from the staff so I can't really speak to that. The checkers I've encountered have been pleasant and have no negative experience to relate. Parking on the weekends means a good hike. I've never lucked out and gotten anything close to the store, but I look at it as good exercise. read more

So we went over to ask worker about it. She SAID that there was a credit button; we knew that was wrong so we kept telling her that but finally she went to look for her self and wouldn't give us a straight answer.
