I recently moved to Pittsburg from Joplin and thought I'd give Dillons a chance over Walmart…read more Dillons now offers online orders and pickup. I tried this service. I spent $225. There were two charges on my bank account of $225. I knew one was a temporary hold and should drop off. Eight days later it still had not dropped off. Kroger customer service is a joke; they are rude and dismissive. They basically told me to go F myself and that they were going to do anything about holding my $225 hostage. It is now a holiday weekend, and by the time the banks open I will have been without this money for 10 days. Now I must dispute it with the bank and wait an additional 7 days. It will then be 17 days that Dillons/Kroger has held my money. At this point they owe me interest on that money. Customer service at the store is zero help, and Kroger customer service was the opposite of help. I'm still trying to find corporate numbers to call and see if they even care enough to take action. This is despicable and disgraceful and illegal.

So we traveled all the way from Joplin to go to Dillon's because they are even better the Ralph's…read morewe used to shop back home in California. Unfortunately I had Chemotherapy yesterday so we didn't get there until almost 8pm and when we asked this very nice lady Laura about the Deli she said it closed at 7pm. So we still found almost everything we needed and out of know where Laura finds us at the front and tells us she could help us at the Deli and she did. This kind of Customer Service is kind of rare these days but not at Dillon's. Before I became I'll I worked in retail and can recognize true devoted, dedicated employees and Laura is one of them. I took a few minutes to track down the Store Manager and shared our experience with her but this kind of over and beyond Customer Service needs to shared in public. If you have a chance, PLEASE drop by there and say HELLO to Laura. She's AWESOME!

A good little small town Italian shop. The sausage has an authentic flavor. The stuffed shells and…read moremanicotti were some of the best we have found in quite awhile. The paninis were large and were very good, and meaty. The make for a great lunch while on the road. I highly recommend this place, it kind of off the beaten path, but worth the detour.

The business card refers to this business as Pallucca's Italian Meat Market and Catering. I would…read moreclassify it as a deli instead of a grocery. I've been confused about this business since news of the grocery store closing a few years ago. If you just drive by on Frontenac's main drag, it looks like the business is still closed. But on the west side of the building is the new entrance. It seems they just blocked off the front part of the store to save on utilities. The heart of the business is the meat counter, for which Pallucca's was always famous. You'll still find Pallucca's famous sausage. I was pleased to find the three types of italian cold cuts that I use to make muffalettas - which I'd previously only found at Tulsa's Fresh Market. There are lots of italian specialties, including several varieties of ravioli and homemade spaghetti sauce. They also carry the famed Frontenac Bakery bread. Also in in the meat counter are ready-made deli sandwiches (featuring fresh artisan bread) and salads. We really liked the cuban sandwich, which was big enough for two people. They grilled it in a panini press, which made it better than imagined. There are tables for dining in, and there and bottled soft drinks. Lunch specials are offered from 11 - 1 Monday thru Friday. Normal hours are 9-6 Monday thru Saturday, closed Sunday.
