After a delicious quick bite meal at Jersey Mike's, we visited a nearby Walmart at Westgate Marketplace. It was pratically on the other side of the street. We ended up still driving over here because it would have been a good 5 to 10 mins walk. Parking spots were vast. Bright and clean inside. Aisles were organized and well stocked. We headed straight to the water and snacks aisles. Got what we needed for our road trip (water, chips, popcorn) and went to self check-out to pay shortly afterwards. We didn't waste any time perusing the store since we were on a tight timeline to get to our hotel. Walmart made our shopping experience simple and easy from start to finish. We can always rely on them to have what we need. Thank you Walmart! Note: Part of Route 66 Centennial Celebration road trip with my eldest daughter in June 2026 read more

Mistaken identity? So I'm walking through Walmart doing my grocery shopping and I get stopped by a really old white lady and she asked me are you a basketball player? Me: No ma'am. Then she asked do you play football and I said no ma'am, then she asked are you a NASCAR driver? (I'm thinking to myself who does his woman think I am.) No mam. Then she says: you must be a rodeo rider? I just smiled real big, no ma'am. She says you look like you ride in the rodeo. I was watching you as you were walking and you have that swagger like a rodeo rider and I'm thinking to myself, WOW! Then she asks what do you do for a living? I tell her I work for Tinker AFB, as a shipping receiving clerk, then she salute's me. I guess she thought I was a soldier. Then she said, "black people don't get a lot of recognition where it is due!" I live near spencer and there is a lot of really good black rodeo riders there! I'm like really! The conversation was cool but I was trying to get in and out. read more

Security put his hands on me before I could finish shopping and body slammed me to the ground and put me in handcuffs saying I need to leave we are closed even though it was only 22:58 and the store shouldn't be closed until 23:00 threatening to call the police for trespassing on private property. The stores night manager named Steve came out I questioned him as to why this is acceptable and they allow this treatment to customers and he said idc you need to leave I refuse your business I could care less about your business I don't want you shopping here. I originally came in because they forgot to take the tag off of my boot and the two people at customer service refused to help me. read more

A scam artist in Oregon stole my daughter's gift card number and ordered from Wal-Mart online, draining her entire card. So when she was broke and tried to use the card for food and diapers for her newborn, she was greeted with a nice, holiday "GO F YOURSELF" from Wal-mart. Wal-Mart's fraud department told me that since the card was already used and the item had already been delivered (you know- before my daughter could even scratch off the grey film from her card to even see what the pin number was)- that it was OUR FAULT FOR WAITING SO LONG. I was told to go file a police report for theft because Wal-Mart was keeping my money and I could go fornicate myself with an iron fork. Don't buy gift cards from Wal-Mart. They are very easy to hack and Wal-Mart will NOT give your money back for them. WHEN YOU BUY A GIFT CARD FROM WAL-MART YOU ARE THROWING CASH INTO A LIT DUMPSTER. read more

Walmart Supercenter - NOT SECURE: DO NOT BUY - Department Stores Near Me - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Picture this: My mom, niece, and I roll up to Walmart, not knowing we're about to embark on the Indiana Jones of Retail adventures. The mission? To find a strap for a fanny pack my mom was handcrafting with the precision of a NASA engineer. And let me tell you, we had no idea what we were about to walk into. Armed with the trusty Walmart app, we were feeling pretty confident... until it led us to the mysterious, possibly haunted, Aisle B62. Was it under construction? Was it a portal to another dimension? No one knows because apparently, it doesn't exist. After wandering the store like lost tourists looking for the bathroom in a theme park, we decided to ask for help. Enter Caroline, our hero. Caroline, pushing a cart stacked high with stuff, looked at us like we were either completely confused or about to ask her where they keep the unicorn saddles. "We're looking for a red strap," we said, and bless her, she didn't run. Instead, she embraced the challenge like a personal quest, throwing out suggestions faster than a game show host on speed. Luggage? Sporting goods? The sacred OU aisle? It was a retail scavenger hunt, and Caroline was determined. Eventually, we made our way to the kids' section, where we discovered the holy grail of red straps--well, technically, it was a Sonic the Hedgehog belt (because obviously my niece needs to secure her fanny pack with nothing less than Sonic speed). While we were at it, we picked up some adorable cat ear bandanas for C-A-T, my niece's cat who, by the way, totally rocks them. But the red strap saga didn't end there. Oh no. We also found an OU bag with--drum roll, please--a red strap that was basically custom-made for the fanny pack. Success! Then came the final boss battle: checkout. I strut over to the self-checkout like it's my personal stage. Beep beep beep, scanning items like a pro. Suddenly, a Walmart employee approaches, ready to intervene like I might somehow crash the entire Walmart payment system. "Need help?" he asks, looking suspicious of my scanning skills. Nah, buddy, I'm good. But he stood by anyway, just in case I needed to be rescued from the perils of modern technology. Meanwhile, my mom, not one to waste time, gets waved over to a regular register by a cashier who was not just friendly, but had that Walmart zen--totally in the zone, making the checkout experience feel more like an upscale boutique than, you know, Walmart. In conclusion, did I expect to walk into Walmart and emerge with a Sonic belt, cat accessories, and an epic red strap? No. Did I enjoy the unexpected, action-packed retail experience? Absolutely. This Walmart gave us top-tier customer service, and I have to say, it was hands down the most fun I've had searching for random fanny pack parts in my life. Caroline, wherever you are, you're a legend. read more

Motorhome has a bad tire. Traveling from AZ and had to spend the day in OK. Sunday waiting for Discount Tire to open Monday. Walmart does not allow vehicles taller than 9 ft to enter the parking lot. I am sure its so they do not camp in the parking lot. But look how much money they are losing out on, 6 motorhome tires are spendy$$$! Plus the shopping for grocery restock for the road trip and whatever else we would have found while waiting for the tire installs. Bad Idea!!! read more

The last straw. After having to avoid all the delivery shoppers and having to run down an employee just to get printer ink out of the lock bow. there is only one checker working at 11 AM on a weekday. I finally get to my truck and get loaded. I start to back out when a cart hauler with his little machine is coming down the lane. I stop to let him pass, but he stops right behind my truck and walks away. He pulls cars out of the space to hook to his cart hauler. I think he will leave and let me out, but no, he walks across the lot to the next group of carts, leaving me blocked in. I asked him to move the machine, but he walked off again and said he would just be a couple minutes. ISREAL was his name. WINCO, here I come. read more

My go to Walmart when I am in OKC. No particular reasons, except for convenience as it is the closest Walmart to my parents' place. I haven't had a bad experience per say. This is the worst Walmart I've been in as far a customer service. I stood at the bakery counter for 10-15 minutes to get someone to write on a cake for me. No one ever acknowledged me so I move down the counter and got in line at the deli. Another 15 minutes of being blatantly ignored. I was standing right in front of the scale so the worker would have to come within 18 inches of my face every time she helped another customer. She helped at least six people behind and around me...??? I finally had to demand some help! I asked if there was anyone who could write on my cake..... her response" I don't do that" as she turned her back and walked off! 40 minutes of waiting and my cake was slid across the counter to me without a word.... only to be spelled incorrectly read more

You should employee someone to answer the phone. I was supposed to have some photos ready for pickup on Sunday. I never got an email or anything saying they were ready it's now Thursday I've tried to call 3 days in a row and not once has someone picked up the phone when I select the option to talk to an associate it just rings and rings I let it ring one time for over 30 min and still no answer so I say again hire someone to pick up the phone it's the little box that makes a ringing sound! read more

The worst walmart in okc!!! It's filthy dirty. Employees are not friendly at all. They ask to see your receipt too.

It's Walmart... being lousy is expected, but this one... Went in to get an Apple Watch and accessories to go with it. Workers had no idea what I was talking about regarding cases, bands, etc. Tried to send me to the jewelry department. I found them myself seconds later about 10 steps away. They just made changes to the checkout process and the layout to get to the self checkout registers is new, you walk through a long isle of candy before you can get to registers, well the problem there is if people are shopping for candy you cannot pass customers until they move to a register or out of that isle. When I told management they said people have complained since it's changed to this and Walmart Corperate will not listen to them so customers need to call 1 (800) 925-6278 and make a complaint, I did that and after I made the complaint the rep told me Walmart Corperate would call me within 72 hours, that was 8 days ago. Walmart Corporate employs people that have no experience shopping at their stores & to try to get a manager in the store to voice my opinion took 20 minutes! Store employees make it a point to not look at customers because they don't want to help us. I've been giving Walmart a lot of chances, they do not care and they aren't going to change anything. I'm driving further and shopping at Target. read more

After the Wal*Mart on Belle Isle Blvd, I headed here still in search of a battery for my Honda Civic key fob. The floor was pretty weird looking. It was very much different then what I was used to at Wal*Marts. This one seemed a little more busy as well. I was ready for my key to work! After asking two employees to help me at the jewelry dept for my battery, I was about to give up hope. The employees didn't seem to know much english and didn't really act like they wanted to help me. Then I finally found the jewelry dept. To my dismay they were already closed... Two managers were walking by and when I asked them for help in jewelry, they basically ruined my night. Apparently SECURITY is so strict in this store, that even managers can't help me in certain ares. Really? This is literally worse than Wal*Marts in Tulsa. Nobody trusts anybody anymore. Just go to Wal*Mart on Belle Isle Blvd if you need to go. The employees are much nicer there. read more

This was the only Wal-Mart around us that carried a Nexus 10 that my boyfriend wanted. My husband was told that he could come get boxes to move with from a Walmart associate on May 19th 2023. On May 20th my husband went into the store to do exactly what the associate said he could do. My husband starts looking for someone to ask about the boxes the lady tells him to go look in the back, he goes back there and is escorted out of the store because well he was asking for boxes. They start basically talking shit to him telling him they crush their boxes. Well let me tell you something the associate for Walmart should not have told him that he could come up there at a certain time to get them before they're crushed. I'm pissed off, this is the rudest nastiest dirtiest Walmart that I have been in. And now I know that they do not know how to treat people. They should be ashamed of themselves. The people nowadays have no freaking morals respect or dignity. All you can do is pray for them. read more

A great and very professional pharmacy. I made an appointment at Walgreens in Mustang for my Covid shot. They couldn't find my appointment even with my printout I provided and was treated very rudely and told to leave. The gentleman who took my information at the window was very professional. The technical who administers the shot was a pleasure and kind. Apparently social distancing to Walmart is to funnel everyone in their store through ONE set of doors. Everyone pushed into one lobby to get carts, sanitizer and be counted- I do not feel safe. Absolutely ludicrous behavior by the grocery pickup personnel. We have shopped through grocery pickup since it started at the Reno location. Today, I attempted to use my husbands card to pay instead of mine and was refused my groceries! "Because it was not my name on the card." Are you joking?? I offered to show my social security card, our wedding photos, his name in my phone, everything I could think of-- yet they refused to give me our groceries. My husband works every day, and often overtime, for the city of OKC and I homeschool our child. Obviously I'm home and available to pick up the groceries and he is not. Their answer was: "if he wants the groceries he can come pick them up himself." Wow. We will no longer be your patrons. read more

Cheerful employees, helpful service, good selection. Pretty much a standard Wal-Mart. Close to I 40.

Computer glitch caused $13.57 to be incorrectly debited from my account, which they could not find any trace of in their system after the fact. I use this Walmart a lot, as it's on my way home from work. I absolutely LOVE the grocery pickup! Order online, pick a time, check in when you're on your way there, pull in, seconds later they walk out ready to load your car. It's that easy. Takes me all of 5 mins. They have never gotten an order wrong, they even gave us a free bag of cookies near Christmas. (They were tasty AF!) The women working the pickup area are beyond sweet and so friendly! Which is what brings me to why I only put 4 stars, I do not enter this Walmart ever, if I don't absolutely need to, because the staff inside is another story. They are not helpful, they walk around in their uniforms while on break and get pissy when you ask where something is located, and just plain rude. Also, usually Walmart trips inside the store are always an adventure with the kind of people walking around.. this one has an abundance of interesting folks. Anyways.. grocery Pickup is the way to go! It's free and saves so much time! The ladies always say "please come back and see us again!" And I always respond "we most definitely will!" read more

I'm sad to give them a bad rating bc like I said the staff was great it's just the type or people in this Walmart and made me scared .
