The cheese section hanging bagged cheese looks stale and unsafe to eat. Does not look good at all.. uhh I would say dont buy cheese from here.. The hot dog section looked suspect as well.. They need new coolers i think and less products.. more turnover I like that this store is here but feel unsafe eating anything from here.. read more

Very nice and clean. Well organized ,and friendly staff! Great selection of food and the produce looks amazingly delicious. I wish I had seen this store sooner. I went off my normal driving root looking for something and I'm glad I did. Definitely recommend Crest Foods read more

Friendly staff, great prices & selections. I am personally tired of BIG BOX stores & their rude customer service & total lack of it! I remember the day when the customer watched the cashier enter the food price & a sacker loaded groceries in a bag & took it to your car with a SMILE. Now the customer checks the food, sacks it & lugs it to the car WHILE a sour-faced Walmart worker watches you do ALL the work! Our roles have Flipped in the last few decades. Recently I discovered Crest , which is NOW my choice for a pleasurable grocery shopping experience. I actually had culture shock when I walked in and the most happy friendly greeting was given me & each customer individually! Inside the lights were bright, floors gleaming & every worker greeted me with a smile & hello! The produce was colorful & fresh unlike WM where a large portion is bruised, soft & near expiration. There was a deli with FRESHLY PREPARED foods of many varieties. The prices were about 2-5 cents higher on some items, not all. There was not a substantial difference to my food budget. The checkers are always friendly & happy and they will take groceries to your car if you wish! So glad I finally escaped from the yucky dungeon of WM. I'm grateful to Crest for maintaining quality customer service without sacrificing food quality & SMILES! read more

I've always been a loyal customer of Crest & will continue to be, although lately it's getting hard to remain patient while your cashiers & sackers have their very loud conversations filled with cuss words & disrespect. I actually had the nerve to interrupt my cashier the other day by polity asking her to possibly ring my items while she talked..she actually walked away from the register leaving me at the mercy of 1 of the few adults there willing to help me. I wanted to be rude, trust me, & would have had every right to, but clearly since everyone is literally begging for employees, they know they can get away with acting like entitled little brats. Anyway, thank God for self check out! I will use it every time it's available! read more

Gross. They sold me ground turkey that was beyond rotten as soon as I got it home. No receipt, no refund even if it's their doing.

You should probably do your best to avoid shopping here ever. I really wish someone would have warned me about the staff and the store before I went in or at least took time to read the other reviews.. I will now only shop at Walmart Super Center, there better for a reason. This is the worst store I have ever been to. Won't be wasting any money at that waste this waste of space. The store smelled, it was absolutely filthy. The staff is even worse. Their rude and don't even bag your food correctly. They crushed my eggs and bread and when I showed them what they had done and ask to get another they told me I would have to pay for the CRUSHED items and the new ones I would get to replace them. I went in at 3:10 AM TO MAKE A SIMPLE RETURN AND I JUST GOT OFF WORK AND MEANT TO DO ON THE WAY IN THIS EVE BUT WENT INSTEAD AT LESS BUSY TIME. I walked in and a younger girl with glasses came walking towards me and I asked if I could make a return I had the sack , unopened product and the cash receipt from 4 days ago, I went to customer service and about a min passed and an African American man didn't get his name (but was told he was manager on duty) approached me so asked to return the item and he said "I ain't got no till ready" he meant he did not have a cash register ready which in my experience customer service department always should have a manager, a manager drawer (or till as he called it,) and be ready for his or her shift. He told me that bit about "I ain't got no till ready" then I asked how long to get your drawer up here, he said 45 min!!!!!! I mean I drove 8 miles round trip for nada! I asked about the register that was open if he could go there and do it he said no come back in the morning or wait. And a few employees kinda were listening and snickered.... really I thought about the hourly employee..... but I let it slide as they probably have there challenges during the rest of the day... But for real that's is all BS customer service and should be not in the customer service industry! And thats the last time myself and a few others will visit that trap house of a store. read more

I used to shop periodically at Crest Foods but one day near the register and while checking out they had a refrigerator case filled with cottage cheese so I grabbed one. Imagine my surprise when I arrived home and thought I might have some cottage cheese with some peaches...and found out that the cottage cheese had reached it's expiration date and was spoiled. I have rarely set foot in a Crest store again. Make a fair profit is acceptable but when they sell expired food that is an entirely different subject. read more

Our family has been shopping at Crest for several years and it's always been a pleasure until tonight because of one employee's undue disrespect and unprofessional handling of my husband at checkout tonight. Initially, the debit transaction for our purchase went through but then she made a loud public ordeal of some processing issue on her end and kept telling my husband that their machine was showing our card's balance was insufficient, which my husband knew wasn't possible and had to be an issue on her end. She refused to help him and kept on her snarky attitude- this is the rough-looking lady for those who shop at this location often. To prove that the issue wasn't funds on the card, my husband went to the little FNB atm at the front of the store and brought back a receipt after getting a balance inquiry showing her that there was more than enough money and that she should have been trying to help him figure it out instead of treat him the way she did insisting it wasn't anything she was doing. The customer behind my husband ended up having a similar issue with her card but the woman didn't treat her the horrible way she treated my husband. My husband is a soft-spoken Navy veteran who has been dealing with PTSD and extreme anxiety disorder for several years but it still takes alot to get him as upset as he was when he came home from the store, so I called the store to report this woman's treatment to management. To my surprise, the same woman answered and proceeded to deny the entire situation, claiming the entire thing happened on video and that my husband never came back to prove the card had more than enough to cover the small purchase. I hope that video footage covers the unprofessional and incompetent way she sounded as she dealt with him. I also filed a complaint on the website about what happened tonight and don't know what to expect but an apology is owed to my husband because no customer deserves this. read more

Best grocery prices in the OKC metro area. Always busy, but worth it if you need to stock up on groceries.

I had been shopping at Crest Discount Foods, on Reno Ave in Midwest City, since they opened the store about twenty years ago. Prior, I shopped at the other MWC Crest store since 1976. I was generally pleased with their selection and their prices have always been lower than their competitors until Walmart started their super stores. After shopping with Crest, for over thirty years, I had an incident with a manager and the store manager, Kevin, which left a very sour taste and I haven't been back to that particular crest store for years. It was all over a three dollar foam mop head. It didn't fit my old mop stick so I returned the item to the store, unused and unopened, with the receipt. The problem was that the receipt was unreadable because I laid it next to the milk and the ink disappeared. The manager was very abrupt with me and told me that since he couldn't read the item on the receipt that they could not take it back. I ended up talking with the store manager, Kevin, and he was extremely rude to me and told me that the manager said they wouldn't take it back and he didn't bat an eye and told me the same thing in very certain terms. All this was over a three dollar unopened item. I explained to them that it was the first time in over thirty years I had returned an item to Crest even though I had purchased plenty of bad produce that I never returned. They told me to keep the item but I left it there and told them that Crest needed the money more than I and maybe that is one reason their parking lot is always half empty since people in Midwest City now have the option of several Walmart Super Centers around town. I still shop at other Crest locations periodically but never exclusively as I did for over thirty years. I am still giving that store three stars because they do, as all the Crest stores, have competitive pricing. The three star rating is strictly because of the store manager, Kevin. read more
