Where do I start..1st let me say I'm a loyal Walmart shopper...I'm there almost daily...ok so at about 1030pm on Sunday I went into Walmart to get groceries...I got everything I'd planned to get, which I later discovered was almost $300 in total...I went to self check out as usual...as I scanned my items, 4x the customer service for self check out, was dinged to come over to "ASSIST"...I was very agitated now... the items were more than expected so I was standing there transferring money to 1 account...OMG here's where I lost it... Mind you, I had already rung up "ALL" my items and packed into their cheap bags, that kept tearing, as well as falling on the floor...Remember I said I was already agitated, this was another reason for my losing it at the end...I'm about to Walmart pay for my items and guess what happened next...YEP!!! you guessed it...they turned off my register...I was absolutely LIVID!!! There was already 3-5 Walmart associates by my register because they were closing so the workers were gathering around...at this point I'm the last customer in the store...So the associate closest to me said we'll there it goes...what did she mean??? No clue, all I do know is, NOW I'm SUPER LIVID...she then says, I'm going to have to ring you up at a register...WTF??? WHAT...R U KIDDING ME!!! she says yes...I went the capital F off!!! She then called someone on her radio...I'm still going off...so what are you going to do then, stand there...I'm sure that I said some choice words...but who wouldn't have, after ALL I'd already gone thru...she continued to call on her radio for whomever...then a guy came over and stood back but close enuff for me to notice his presence...I then turned to him and asked if he needed to check out something...he said no he was good...I thought for a second...he must be security...lol... he looked like a person of the streets, ya know what I mean...so I turned back to the lady that was supposed to "CHECK ME OUT AT A REGISTER" and asked, WELL??? what are you doing??? I could've been out of here by now...so I started THROWING all my bagged items into the cart, saying let's go...and some more choice words...then I realized she wasn't really trying to assist me...they thought I was stealing!!! Ok that was f'd up...at this point it's about 11:15pm so I decided to go on and get out of there, whomever she was calling obviously wasn't coming and she definitely wasn't going to help me anymore, I was so pissed that I continued to say choice words to them as the street man, I mean security guy started following me out...I had some words for him too...I left w/o my almost $300 worth of stuff saying I hope you all have fun putting ALL that ish back... This could've been racial profiling or just Walmart accusing yet another person for stealing...I've read so many negative things about this happening, yet I still chose to take my business there...I'm at the point of NO RETURN!!! I'm sending this review so you all that decide to shop at Walmart can be SELF AWARE of what they have going on... Be SAFE out there and DON'T go to the SELF CHECK OUT!!! read more

It's a huge store. Plenty of merchandise. Great prices overall and a place to stock up on everything from home goods, to toiletries, food items, clothing, electronics, and a lot more. Gets really crowded on weekends. Full serves and self checkout available. There is also a Walmart liquor shop next to it. Left my wallet there and Barbie lied about having it multiple times. I I then got fed up with Barbie and asked Lisa if she had found a wallet. She then walked back and then came back with my wallet, . funny enough there was $100 missing after Barbie told me again once I got there, "I already told you we don't have your wallet." The truth is Walmart is not doing inventory as well as they used to. 1:00 pm on Thursday or any day for that matter there are loads of open shelf spots. This has been going on for at least a year. Every store I've been to from Maine to Florida I find the same issues. There competitor Target always seems to be spot on & always a welcoming clean stor. My family usually makes our bi-monthly grocery run between the two Walmarts located near our house in Ocala. This is because you may find something at one that is not at the other, which is very frustrating to say the least. Yesterday was our second trip for the month, so our cart was not even half way full. We went to check out on lane 21, just before 1 p.m.. The store only had two lanes open where the employees check you out. When we arrived, the customers were already complaining regarding the lack of cashiers. Now, I can understand having to wait if there were very long lines; however, we had two customers in front of us and teo behind us. The cashier, Tiffany, seemed to be taking her sweet time. Now most people have a tendency to exaggerate, but I do not. It literally took her twenty minutes to check out the first person in line. When we finally got up to her, she proceeded to place one or two items per bag, which was a waste, and again took her sweet time checking us out. Keep in mind that people have frozen items they are wanting to purchase. Her badge said she had been working there for 15 years, which is sad, because you would think after that much time and experience, she would be able to do her job more efficiently. Now I understand that a lot of people don't want to work, or want to get paid as if they have a Master's Degree for checking out customers, but I can only hope their pay is commensurate of their ability, as I am seriously considering just shopping at Publix instead of hitting both stores. The price difference is not worth the headache. As a company you can't continue to raise prices and expect the customer to use the self checkout lanes. Also, how is it that there are more online order fillers than cashiers in the store? If you do read this, I ask that you take the time and watch this cashier to see what I'm saying is the truth and then actually do something about it. There is a saying as a manager that goes "Put your aces in their places." This means if you only have two lanes open, then they should be your best cashiers and if they don't work efficiently, then cut their hours and find someone to fill their position. read more

Their delivery from store sucks! Today, the driver either dropped or sat the case of water on the eggs that she delivered to me. Her name is Claribel ! What an idiot she is. I am done with them. The drivers are obviously not very bright. They either do not bring your entire order or place items directly in front of the door so you cannot exit to retrieve them. If you use them, withhold your tip until after you receive your goods. Watch out for substandard veggies as well. Shoppers are retarded too! read more

The service of this Walmart pharmacy is terrible. The prescriptions take forever to be filled they always tell you I'm sorry we are back up. They take 3 days to fill a prescription. If you go to the dr is because you need the medication not to wait 2 or 3 days for your medication. I'm transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy. read more

Pharmacist Analyn was very rude. She would not fulfill my dogs prescription. The pharmacist at the animal hospital spoke with her directly and the pharmacist refused to fill the prescription. Under the law the vets do not have to use blue watermark paper for prescription. I filed a complaint with corporate. Very unprofessional. I went to CVS and had no issue. read more

I LOVE Walmart delivery for groceries, BUT when my order is delayed and/or I have questions about my order, there is NO way to speak to an employee- the phone rings and rings and rings and then maybe there is loud dial tone. May 18, 2023 - Walmart 19th Ave Rd East Street Ocala. DO NOT SHOP @ THIS LOCATION. There is NEVER, EVER, enough manned registers. Tonight @ 8pm there was only 1manned register and she turned the light off @ 830p. When we asked the 'so-called' manager on duty (who, by the way was walking around on a cellphone trying to find out "what are you doing Saturday night" from whomever he was talking with) about opening another register, he responded, 'i don't have anyone to work; you can do self checkout.' OH YES YOU DO & OH NO WE CANT!!! What prevented him from getting on a register? So we go to custometr service to checkout. If they had refused we would have left the basket with the $100+ of merchandise @ customer service. Here is the frustrating part w/ management @ this SW 19th Ave Rd location - this ain't new MO for them. Even before they removed the cash registers & expanded to 25+ self check they "intentionally" refused to adequately staff registers. It was always there 'go to response' that self check was there. Also, there were 5 people in the customer service area, but, remember now, 'he couldn't find anyone' to man a register. It was a blatant LIE; it's there new store mission to reduce human capital such that 'customer' ​service is no longer an experience when visiting Walmart on SW 19th Ave Rd ( Easy Street) in Ocala, FL. I went to this location today to return some kids' books that I purchased at the store. The Return Service manager right away said they don't accept books for returns because apparently it's a copy right issue! I have never heard that you can't return books that you bought within 30 days! I asked her to show me the policy where it says I can't return books due to copy right and nothing was presented to me! She basically admitted that the store is making up their own rules!! Nore, did I see any information at the store that says that! In fact, Walmart website gives you 30 days return window for any books you buy! In the end, I went to another Walmart location in the area and returned my books without an issue! Walmart corporate has to control what's going on at their stores! That manager is confusing customers and gives them contradicting information! Nothing like going to spend money somewhere and the person who takes your money treats you like trash because she was given a 5:30p-1a schedule that she was more than vocal about with another employee. This just happened to me. Spent almost 100.00 at midnight because oh, I was just leaving my SECOND job. Tired myself but greeted her with a smile and hello and got a scowl back and not even enough respect to acknowledge me, didn't say anything but my total. I am really starting to hate Wal-Mart. I find this walmart to be, hands down, solution to my needs. I am able to shop for good prices and skip items that are not actually on sale. If I need band-aids, dirt, blankets or tires, they are always available so I can kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. I enjoy the variety of merchandise, helpful staff and people-watching while I go about my chores. I do occasionally stray for sale items but always return to my super walmart. read more

Grocery shopping and looking for one item I could not find. When I did find someone to ask, I was told where the item would be. That was not the case. I found another associate near where the item was supposed to be and I was told to look in another location. The item was not there either. At this point, forget it, I wasted my time going around the store and I will not do that anymore. This has happened before. Now, I find myself rarely going to shop at Walmart. So I go into Walmart to pick up some pool salt. It starts to rain, and to get the pool salt which is located outside, I get soaked. I finally get the salt to the trunk of my car and, when I get it out a day or two later, I find the bag is ripped in several places and wet pool salt is everywhere in the trunk. I use a wet vac. to get it up and find that the salt in the bag is so compacted (and still soaked) that I have to chip it out over the pool with a screwdriver. So much effort holding the 40  pound bag over the pool while chipping (least the flakes of loose salt get all over the pool deck), that my hearing aid comes off and falls into the pool. Come on Walmart! There must be some minimum I.Q. necessary to be a store manager - even at Walmart. You think I wouldn't pay a couple of dollars more to buy it in a pool store? Sam would be turning over in his grave if he knew how the bozos are running his stores. read more

I shop here a lot, but I know what to expect. Do not expect customer service. Never anyone to help you purchase something. I see lots of associates walking around, but they are never "in my department", so they promise to get someone to help me. Then you wait. And wait. I recently bought a large priced item. There was a sign saying "sign up for Walmart credit card and receive $25 off your first purchase". I bought the item, asked for the credit card bonus and was told by the cashier "sorry, I don't know how to do that". I suspect she was busy and didn't want to take the time, but that is just my suspicion. I then went to Customer service and stood in line for 20 minutes, with my receipt, to get my credit card bonus. There were about 6 people ahead of me! 2 registers open, but 3 available registers. Sam Walton would not like what has become of his brand. I suppose they make a lot of profit despite their stores lack of customer support. Must just be cost effective to ignore us, because we put up with it and keep coming back, myself included, because often the prices are too good to pass up. read more

Very average Walmart, lines are usually pretty long in the afternoons. Would recommend going in the mornings or early afternoons rather than later to beat the lines. Staff is friendly and prices are pretty good. Get Walmart app and clip coupons before visit to get even better prices on things. read more

Not only do you wait at least a 1/2 hour for checkout Because they never have enough registers open but now they have started chasing you down for your receipt while you are leaving the store. I could understand if you set the alarm off while leaving. Then yes, by all means show your receipt. But to be hassled for my receipt for 2 jalapeños, a container of strawberries, a small can of chopped green chilies and a dog bed is absolutely ridiculous!!
