Wow. I love this store and it's just a golf cart ride away from home. Great prices, with great quality products. There is always a unique selection of Seasonal specialty items around the Holidays and an aisle dedicated for these items. The selection of fresh produce is always good and I heard they keep it local, which I like. I didn't know about the Quarter for the shopping cart until another shopper told me about it, but that's kinda cool to keep the prices low. The lines are long sometimes at check out, so I like to shop in the morning when they first open. This location is super clean too. I also found out Aldi is a brother company to Trader Joe's...so I'm a fan of that too. Oh, and don't forget your shopping bags, you'll need those to pack up your groceries. read more

I shopped at the newly opened Aldi in Lady Lake Florida, Spanish Springs area, Is a nice store but one thing I did not like. No cashiers were open and all these people are doing self check out. I refused to use it and made the employee scan everything. People need to wake up and refuse to do self check out and make these stores run the regular cashiers or they will continue to get rid of their employees. read more

I only noticed this place because I was at a medical appointment nearby. I wasn't even sure what it was. It wasn't open yet,had shopping carts, but no ads in the windows. It turns out it is a funky discount supermarket with weird brands, like "Thin Wheats" instead of Wheat Thins. Not everything was a bargain but some things were ,noticeably, over Publix, most notably bread products. So I see why the Stonecrest folks all zipped over in their carts and lined up to get in. read more

Closest Aldi to me so I shop here the most and I hated it at first because it's the reverse of the layout of the Aldi I used to shop. Florida is so high prices on everything I would be absolutely lost without Aldi! Although EVEN ALDI has higher prices on some items. Coming from Ohio my Aldi receipt was cheaper there but I would much rather shop here than Publix! This Aldi tends not to stock their pasta very well. Or people just buy the heck out of it. I find some things cheaper at Walmart but I get the majority of shopping done here. read more

Impressed all away around. The prices!!! I do not remember buying quality food at that cheap. The fact that we return our own card back is incredible. It is amazing that only 25 cents make people act differently, polite, and respectful. I like the fact that there is no plastic bag. I am environmentally conscious and reuse as much as I can. It makes me feel good to see other people around packing their own groceries in fabric bags. Ah and of cause Sydney, the young lady who is working at the cashier register, was the one who made me take my time and write this 5-star review. If I could give 10 I would have given it to Sydney. Several times, I was shopping at that location and about 5 times she was my cashier. Coming from the mega-city, anything slow drives me literally crazy. Here in Florida, I mellowed down a little, but still. I always check out cashier before I get in line anywhere. Sydney is the faster cashier I've seen and I am New York/LA type of a girl. normally I am a bit pushy, but in this case, I could barely keep up with her, as I was loading my items onto the register. JUST WOW. Fast, Efficient, Very Professional and not to forget Very Personable. Her positive energy just welcomes you to the cashier registry and make my grocery trip so much more enjoyable. Many times, I would not go back to a place where it is slow and the stuff just has small talks about nothing just to be nice and wasting my time instead of off just giving me my groceries. Sydney is polite but professional at the same time. The smile is always there. There is nothing in this world worse than to waste valuable time. Sydney's work ethics made a customer of Aldi for life. We shop here for all of our essentials. The price is almost half that of other local Super Markets. Then we head to Fresh Market for fancier food. Almost forgot, Aldi's cantaloupes are very good. Their solution to shopping cart management, by charging a quarter to use a cart (which is returned when you bring it back) is typical of how well this company has planned to keep their small parking lots uncluttered with used carts. Check out is very fast. No lines held up with price checks. Fastest check out of any store. read more

I do most of my weekly shopping here in less then 30 minutes with a bundle of savings compared to a large supermarket. The good thing is that they usually have one single brand of the item needed making your decision easy. If you are unsure of an item, have peace of mind that you can return it with their guarantee. Bring your own grocery bags and a quarter for a wagon/basket. Having these items will make your experience easier. read more

I have seen Aldi other places but never stopped in. After hearing others talk about the deals (my office is almost directly across the street), I thought I had better check it out. I now stop by every Friday afternoon on my way home to purchase whatever they have to offer. I can't do all of my grocery shopping there, but I can get enough deals to make it worth it every time. I think Aldo's is great.! I love to go there for fresh fruit vegetables potatoes and eggs & milk. There cheese selection is very good too. I get a kick out of the household workX items they sell (I recently purchased a steam mop in Pittsburgh, and was so happy to find it again in Florida for my new FL home). My fav is treating myself to a couple dozen fresh roses when I can find them. I love Aldo's and would have given them 5 stars, but you really have to be careful when purchase the fresh produce. I'm not sure if some item are bad because they got jostled or if they were sitting to long. Happy shopping! read more

Trust me, they have the best russet potatoes in the villages. Every time I purchase at Publix or Winn Dixie, they always go bad. Been here 10 years. I love fresh potatos. They have that. Other things are great as well. read more
