Had a very frustrating experience at the Walmart in New Caney. I attempted to return an item only about 20 minutes after 10 PM that was already approved for return, with the official return barcode and confirmation from Omar at Walmart Corporate. The manager on duty, Valerie, refused the return, claiming they "stop accepting returns at 10 PM," even though the store was still open. There is no published Walmart policy stating approved returns can't be processed during store hours, and returns can be handled at other registers if the service desk is closed. Very disappointing experience caused by management, not policy. read more

Pharmacist "Maroo" would not fill my patient's prescription. They take Medicaid and are required to fill all Medicaid prescriptions, but he said since they have gotten prescriptions filled at a different store's pharmacy in the past, that he will not fill it at Walmart. Don't even try to get anything in the cases because nine times out of ten, no one will come. You might get lucky but not every time. Partner got there at 6:20-30pmish- sat there til 7, and even asked someone, and no one came. On another note- not a single department knows how to answer a phone I'm assuming because I've called each one seven times to get some help on my application and not one picked up. I was in this place buying a Nintendo Switch 2 console that comes with an included game. Then I asked the associate if I could buy 2 additional games separately, play them, and if I didn't like them, return them. He told me that I could if I did it within 30 days. So after 3 hours, I tried to return the console and the 2 games, but they refused to accept the return of the games, even though it was the employee's mistake. I spoke with different supervisors, and in the end, I spoke with Kaylee, who said no flatly. I felt robbed... $69 for 2 games. read more

Danger!! My truck was targeted to be STOLEN in this New Caney Tx Walmart parking lot. I must have come back to my truck earlier than the thieves expected because they were not successful. Damaged door lock, steering wheel cover damaged and ignition key cylinder destroyed. I had to have my truck towed because I was unable to start it or take the transmission out of gear. Signs all over the parking lot indicate security cameras were in use. However, when I attempted to contact the store manager, no one ever came forward for me to let them know about the incident and to obtain the security camera footage. This Walmart did not have a visible Security Vehicle roaming the parking lot. Follow up phone calls to speak with a manager were a waste of time because no one ever picked up. Also learned of individuals handing out cards to targeted people. The cards were laced with Fentanyl aimed at disabling the victim for robbery and/or vehicle theft. Terrible customer service. No one picks up the phone calls. Not sure why it is so hard for any of the 8 departments to pick up a phone call.

If I could put a 0 I would... Im not one to leave a bad review anywhere. Or even a review at all. But the way I was treated today was incredibly disappointing. This Walmart has maybe the WORST customer service I've ever seen. I went in on the outdoor and plant side. When I got to the register and tried to pay, the girl said "sometimes our card reader doesn't work" and then grabbed my card from my hand and tried again. When it didn't work she said "oh we don't take Visa cards. We can put it in manually" and then did that twice. I've never had any problems before. But When it didn't work, she said it was my fault and that I was doing it wrong. She said "it's not working because you're doing it. It's not my fault so it's something you did". And The entire time she just rolled her eyes and kept huffing as if it was irritating her. Which I'm sure it was but it didn't make me feel any better at all. She was so rude I ended up just leaving my item and leaving. Walmart please fix these issues. read more

My husband and I are quarantine with Covid. I placed an order for door delivery paid 7.95 fee plus tip of 15.00 to the driver for a 17 item order which included 2 flats of bottled water. The water was listed as unavailable with no substitute. Bull... I tried calling store 11 times and was hung up on 3 times during transfer other calls rang until disconnected. I understand short staff but this is not a short staff matter this is lousy customer service and support. This isn't a matter of convenience for us, we are doing our part to stop spreading Covid by staying away from everyone. So, I purchased a bottle jack yesterday after I had a flat tire in my truck and in the middle of having a flat tire, tow truck towing my car because the product I purchased didn't work...I lost my receipt!! Im coming to this Walmart to return the defective bottle jack that didn't work properly the day before to have this Manager named "Andrew" to reject my return for some reason.... This location used to be clean, polite, and well managed. It has gone downhill fast. The workers are unprofessional. The cashiers are yelling at eachother by carrying on conversations while checking out customers, they were constantly checking their cell phones and being interrupted by other workers, and lastly, were bashing other customers! I have not had a positive experience in this store the last 5 times I visited. read more

Clean little Walmart but lacks the size and inventory of many other Walmart locations within driving distance. I'm assuming this store was built for projected 99/I69 growth because this location is just about 3 miles from a larger one. This location has been here about two years but is never super busy so if you need something specific to Walmart this is a viable option. It does have a pick up area for online shoppers/auto center/ vision/ pharmacy like most other super Walmart's. read more

Top that with a manager who tried to solve a backed up line by maki g those waiting the longest wait even longer while helping divert all the newly lined up customers first. So this is the closest Walmart to me and it is very nice it's brand new only been open for a week and associates are super friendly but again we will see how long that last!! great to have a parking lot that is paved with no holes in it and you can actually see the lines in it, people will hopefully learn how to park correctly!! the inside of the store is spotless (again it's brand new)and the bathrooms are awesome! I frequent this Walmart and the one in Atascocita, TX. This Walmart (New Caney Supercenter) is consistently thorough, professional, and chooses great produce when I use either pickup or delivery. Whoever is in charge of that, great job and the people who serve me also - great job. Y'all are the reason I choose Walmart for the bulk of my grocery shopping and dept store needs. The inside of the store is cleaner and more organized than what I'm used to. Everyone at this location keep up the great work and the good news will continue to spread. No one ever answers the phone it just rings and rings and hangs up. I know there are people in that office cause I see it all the time. This also happens in Cleveland, Tx store. I just feel like the office workers are lazy in both stores. The New Caney store is always clean and nice workers, but the office folks needs to be better trained. read more

I will definitely be transferring my prescriptions to some place else. Every time I come here the never put my husband's insurance on his prescriptions, so I have to wait for that. Then I call to check on how long it takes to be filled, I get told an hour so I show up one hour later then get told it will be another hour and a half. Ordered two items online for pick up both were supposed to be in stock because I needed them immediately one item turns out wasn't in stock and wouldn't be available for days so I went in and picked up the one item that wasn't stock told him I wanted to cancel the other one and I would just get one off the shelf I was told I had to call the web service to cancel the other item, purchased the item I needed when Home called them to cancel and they told me it had already shipped that I couldn't cancel and I told herI didn't ask for anything to be shipped I ordered items that were supposed to be in the store and I wanted my refund after arguing with them for 30 minutes supposedly the refund is on the way I won't order that way again . read more

Horrible experience with the new Walmart + delivery. During the 15 day free trial it worked great, we loved it. First order after free trial period, we get a text saying order on the way but tracking not working. 5 minutes later get a text, our order has been cancelled. This was at noon on a Friday. Vague explanation of operational error. So, we re-order the same things again to be delivered with express delivery. It came, but with multiple items missing. Called them, suppose to get a credit. We will see. So, we order again for a delivery at 7-8pm. It happened again, we get a text that order on way, then 5 minutes later, your order has been cancelled. "Operational error". Called and they were apologetic but was firm on we would have to do another order for the next day. There is no manager over the Pick-up & Delivery dept. I was told this by two Walmart associates. Anyway, classic ripoff, they got their money so no more deliveries. Apparently, associates can just cancel orders if they do not feel like delivering. No explanation or any way to get your order. Just try your luck on another day. Store Manager is unavailable for customer according to customer service manager. read more

My husband was trying to look for a laptop and the lady asked him well do you have the Walmart app on your phone he stated yes I do well if you look it up it'll tell you if we have it in stock she wanted him to look up on the app to see if they had it in stock to do her job instead of going in the back to look herself. Man come on, let's open more than 2 cashier registers and 4 selfout checkouts when there is a minimum of 100 people at a time in this place. Also I thought nighttime was for stocking groceries, definitely didn't think it was 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon when church has just let out, and self absorbed, let's have our family reunions in aisle 9, whilst fighting 6 employees with massive carts taking up the whole aisle and conveniently standing right in front of those cheesy puffs you've been craving all week, with no intention of being considerate and stepping to the side for 0.2 seconds, but no worries they'll be happy to sigh loudly, grunt with aggravation and roll their eyes at you, because how dare you grocery shop and feed yourself. Oh also, watched the store manager, "Junior," I guess, rap at the top of his lungs and make wonderful rude comments about one of his employees while cracking up with clearly some of his other cooler employees. Be careful, how and what you say and do, especially in a store full of customers. Professionalism goes a long way. read more
