If my hometown Walmart was like this one, I'd shop there on the regular. The sales staff here were friendly and knowledgeable, eager to assist, and knew their specific departments and products well. This is a very poorly managed store. The shelves are empty on many days. The coolers have absorbent pads under them because they're broken. The store is absolutely filthy and no establishment that sells food for humans should be this dirty! The returns people have scolded me for returning things. I go to Camden (about 20 miles away) just to avoid this mess. Do not shop here. read more

Every year I pull a tag from the Salvation Army Christmas tree this year was for a little girl who wanted a bike. I needed help with the bikes and met Manny, he was so helpful and even found me a cart and put the bike in for me. Extra mile and with a smile! read more

I've been shopping at this store for almost 20 years. Today will be my last. No more bags... you do all the work while the blank stares of the rude kids they hire are fixed on thier phones. Pick-up? Not one time have they had every item I ordered. Matter of fact last time the items I was told weren't available... I went in and they they were. A waste of time whether you go in or not at this place. They are also price gouging. Alice Walton is worth 340 billion... never did a thing for it... but she can't chip in to keep eggs cheap. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. People doing on line shopping will run you over if you are not careful. Asked an associate if the could get an item off shelf I could not reach. Coming in from out of town; I stopped to grab some groceries ~ big mistake. It's not easy to find items in this WalMart and the self check out I had was broken. The young girl working at the self check out ignored that my machine was broken and I was clearly having an issue. I literally had to call over to her to get her to came over just to clear it out and say that I need to use another machine.....and she walked away. Seriously!? No apology for the major inconvenience of having to take everything out of my bags and go find another empty machine in the self checkout area ~ not an easy thing to do! This girl seriously walked away and did absolutely nothing but to leave me to figure out the problem myself. Zero customer service whatsoever. I will not be stopping at the Milford WalMart. Terrible customer support from an obviously ill-trained, non-observant, uncaring self checkout employee. If this is how you train your employees to treat your customers, I will be sure to arrange my schedule to avoid WalMart since WalMart does not want or need my money. I'll be happy to patronize Food Lion or other multiple locations. read more

Today's trip was bad. Most of the shelves were not stocked. The dairy section was filthy. The carpets needed to be vacuumed. I wanted to express my disgust and Assist. Manager, Bryant, came to listen, but I don't know if my opinion will make any difference. He said they had such a busy weekend, as if that excuses the poorly kept store. Honestly it's Walmart...It's exactly what you'd expect when you go...Large crowds and long lines. If you don't have the patience before you go, don't go go! OR do a Walmart pick up. It's convenient and my way to shop there now to avoid large crowds or if I'm just plain lazy. Now the delivery from store is pretty sus as my kids would say. Idk where they find these people but I've had someone take a picture of where they left the groceries goo fine, part of your job) but then again of my mailbox and my camera as they were leaving,..Which makes you feel very uncomfortable! Are used to really love the store but as of late they aren't carrying the boneless skinless chicken breast a lot of items are missing from the shelves and I can't find half of what I go there for an end up having to go to Food Lion anyway it's a shame because I used to really love the store.I believe they should check inventory better. I realize the Covid virus has effected some merchandise but both the Georgetown & Camden stores are well stocked carry the boneless skinless chicken breasts & many of the other items I can no longer find in the Milford location. I currently went to Milford Walmart to get a new tire. And the wait time was 45 minutes. It turned out to be over 3 hours just for one tire. The employees were just standing around and knowing they close at 7 they finally get started at 6:30. What the hell. Please don't come here to get anything done to your vehicle. Just went to this Walmart for a few things which included paint, paint brushes, canned air, and WD-40. So then I go up to a self checkout, and I scan my first item and it asks if I would like to continue because they don't except cash. And of course the thing I had on me was cash. So then I went to an actual and she swipes the paint, then the WD-40 and she says, "Do you have an ID?" And I said no why. She then tells me that you have to have ID to purchase WD-40 and I am just furious. So then I just tell her to put it of to the side. And then she scans the paint brushes, and then the canned air. And she says this needs ID too. CANNED AIR NEEDS ID!?! So the only two things I walk out with is paint and paint brushes!! read more

The place is always a mess with pallets always out all over the place blocking access to things. I encourage the fire marshall to formally investigate these practices. I placed a mobile pickup order and it was not until I arrived at the pick up time that they notified me of an ambiguous delay. I called and waited on the phone for a half hour before speaking with a manager. The manager didn't have a clue, said "my order has not arrived at the store yet." It's grocery pickup! Crazy... he then placed me on hold for an absurd amount of time before saying it would be 30 minutes. 40 minutes later it still wasn't ready. Walmart in general is a greedy mega-corporation that refuses to place humans above profit. read more

This used to be a good store. Not anymore. The shelves are barely full no matter what day or what time of day which is really strange since every time I go in there, at least one aisle has stocked carts in it. The shelves are picked through or the item is simply not there. I visit this store at least 3-4 times a month and there are items not available that I buy on a regular basis. I'm not sure what's changed but something has. We already buy all our produce and meats at Redner's because Walmart's suck. I guess we will have to go to Redner's for everything else. They didn't have a negative star so I gave it a 1 star. Shelves are always empty no matter what day... or what time of the day you visit this wal-mart. I left this Walmart's pharmacy and auto center years ago because the wait time is ridiculous. Over the past several months the customer service and convenience of the store has left me wondering if the savings is worth the trip. The paid shoppers for the grocery pick up do. It want to help you if you can't find something and act like you are in their way. They can't keep the shelves stocked. Every trip there is something I have to stop someplace for because the shelf is empty. Today it was plastic forks of all things! Also today to top off my trip I asked the employee in fabrics where I could find a strip of elastic. First she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about then said it's down the next isle. She was clearly annoyed and didn't want to help. I left without elastic and went a few rows over to find plastic table cloths. On the way my teenage daughter picked something off a shelf to show me then put it down exactly where she picked it up. This same employee walked around the corner as my daughter set it down. As we were walking away she picked the item up and says when you take something down you need to put it back. This Walmart needs to work more with employees to teach them common curtesy and customer service. I am done shopping there. The savings is without a doubt not worth the aggravation of shopping there. I will gladly spend a bit more to shop somewhere with employees that are polite and at least act happy to help. read more

I have straight talk as my service plan and it appears Walmart is the store to get it at... my iPhone had been messing up and I decided time for a new phone. Walked in the store,went to the front store and a girl who had been sitting playing on her phone jumped up and exclaimed loudly that I was there for my free Verizon phone. She was so loud, she took me back. I was er no I have straight talk and I need a new iPhone - she promptly sat down and ignored me! I couldn't find anything so I walked into the back and picked up the straight talk iPhone X card and went to the counter. An older gentleman said you have to buy your phones up front. I said I've been there and the girl was only selling Verizon wireless. He was huh? Let me walk up with you. She's still sitting there on her phone and he walks up and said don't you have any straight talk iPhones up here. She went to a cupboard unlocked it and said I have 2 - both were older models. I said I want the x. She said oh you can only get them with a plan. I said I have a plan - straight talk. She said the only way you can get an iPhone w straight talk is to pay about $80 a month and it'll cost you a lot more money that way - it's better to go with Verizon wireless!!! I said and in the long run that will cost a lot more- I've done the math! She actually agreed I was correct! But she refused to sell me an iPhone without a plan and in her book straight talk was not her plan!!! She was rude and totally unprofessional. What happened to "the customer is always right"? Since when does the sales person tell the customer what to buy? I've had issues before in Walmart phone center with a girl trying to sell me Verizon wireless! That is rude and unprofessional! I'm not a Walmart fan anyway and I'm less after that experience! Do NOT tell me what I want and what I don't want! read more
