I had a terrible experience with Tia in customer service today. I would like a manager to email me if possible. Tia had a terrible attitude and she disrespected me and my daughters . I have never had an issue at this Walmart until today. I was told by Jensen that Tia is a new hire and may need additional training . I would like a Walmart team lead to contact me So I can file a formal complaint against Tia (greeter at the Pharmacy side of the store). She has a horrible attitude and she was terrible to us today. Instead of having 4 of your employees standing at the doors checking receipts because you force us to scan our own groceries, how about you put those people on registers so they can actually earn their pay. I just had a girl stop me this morning to "check my receipt," because I had a few items that wouldn't fit in a bag. She gave it a quick glance and said I was good. Today, I watched the Self-Check Out Associate advise to the young man who was assisting her to scan my water to ensure I paid for it. She didn't know that I saw her tell him that, but once I asked the location of the Customer Service Manager, his facial expression changed. The Self Checkout on the grocery side was only open with a few more lanes open. Mind you, I have been through the self check several times with water and have never had an associate scan my water. When I was finally able to locate the Team Lead she advised that wasn't her home store, she was just helping out, but that there is policy for them to scan some of the items out the cart. I, being a former manager for Walmart, asked when that policy went into effect. She had no explanation or care. I know Loss Prevention policies, and I also understand the point of sale. There was no reason for the associate to insinuate that I alone could not be trusted to scan my own water, in fear that I would steal the water. It was rude, un-dignified, and demeaning! I purchased the approximately $99.95 Walmart Plus membership which affords free delivery. I can't ever order same day delivery anymore from Walmart and this is what happened today regarding the order I placed yesterday for delivery this afternoon. First I received a text saying my order was delivered. I looked and It hadn't. I then received a text, and a push notification from the app, telling me my entire order had been cancelled. This is not acceptable customer service. Especially for delivery service. This isn't the first time they've cancelled an order either. If you're thinking of paying the almost $100 fee for free delivery, know that their service will NOT be like Kroger, Instacart or Shipt. It's nothing close. Also, many of the items that were once available for delivery, that I buy, now have max limits set or aren't available for delivery at all. It's very disappointing. read more

This place is TRASH! This store is always understocked, I live 2 min away and have to drive to Smyrna for my groceries...They have about 30 registers up front yet they only keep 1-2 max opened. They rather have all their employees stand around self checkout and watch u do their job for them. News flash Walmart, I DON'T WORK HERE!!! I refuse to check myself out w/o an employee discount. Once I get out of the speedy checkout, where an actual human being checks me out, I'm then harassed at the door for my receipt so they can go thru my bags and do the same thing the checkout lady just did. Where was management at 9:30am this morning???? No carts in the store. There is always employees standing around talking but nobody can help you or go get carts in the parking lot. The fruits and veggies are not fresh. Bags lettuce is brown. Cauliflower is brown spots inside the bag. Nothing is never stocked up. I bought a apple pie packaged with flies. Today I went grocery shopping for Christmas dinner and went to check out nobody in that store knew how to run a gift card as credit. Ediots kept running the card debit. one lady at self check did not know what she was doing. She closed the register then printed receipt and kept running card as debit. Then I get pushed off on somebody else in customer service and yet she didn't know what she was doing either. since the previous cashier failed to close out register customer service had to rescan all my groceries. Walmart registers always have computer issues. Sounds like everybody in the store needs to be retrained including management. How can you run and manage a store and management is nowhere to be found. I was witnessed on several occasions the managers getting on to employees and belittling them in front of customers. Very unprofessional. my gift card issue did not get resolved customer service blamed it on Walmart register issue she stated customer gift cards were not working. ok will fix the issue then. Then she blamed American express unable to process my payment. She told me to get out of line so she can help this people behind me. REALLY! I called American express and I checked online it wasn't my card it was Walmart. They ran card debit instead of credit. I took my purse and my keys and left the cart of groceries. I went to Kroger and got groceries no issues. I swiped my card transaction was approved printed my receipt. I went to dollar general, post office and taco bell all transaction approved. Walmart has issues. Never going to Walmart again. Publix has the best customer service. Kroger has their shelves stocked up. Only shopping at Kroger and Publix now. read more

I placed an order for curbside pickup. After I was alerted my order was ready, I followed the instructions, got to the store's designated parking spot and attempted to use the app to let someone know I had arrived. I should have known this wasn't going to go well, because the parking spaces are lettered A thru I rather than being numbered 1 thru 6 as designated on the app. About 25 minutes later, the app alerted me that I had picked up my order. Well, I had NOT! I tried to call the number on the sign and got a recording saying the message service was out of order. I waited another 10 minutes, no one came to my car, so I drove around front, and went inside to the Customer Service counter. I waited 10 minutes there and the line didn't move, so I had a floor employee page a manager. The manager took my information, left, and then she never returned after about 15 minutes. Disgusted, I left the store, drove back around to the pickup area on a lark, stopped an employee going in the store, called her over, and as luck would have it, my order was on her cart. However she could offer no explanation to the haphazard way this order was handled nor the inattentiveness of the inside employees. This is the absolute worst Wal-Mart I have ever encountered. Living in LaVergne, we were thankful when the store was built. But it has turned into a crap-shoot on product availability and quality. The only reason we shop at all at this store is for saving miles on the cars. But that is beginning to prove futile. Stay away from the LaVergne Wal-Mart if at all possible. There are better choices out there. I know I'm done with this store. read more

In all the years I have gone to walmart, nothing like tonight has ever happened to me. My girlfriend and I were in the self checkout getting some snacks, and she wanted some drinks. I'm not of age so obviously they had to ID her. However, the boy asked for my ID. My girlfriend was explaining how it is for her and not me. Or they put un-ordered items in your bag then LAUGH when you call the store to tell them (item was a a Dural Vibrating Vaginal Massager). Unfortunately, I have to give a "1", but I would have given a zero for today's service. I purchased glass ornaments for a second grade project (only four packages) at a clearance price. When I got home, I realized they were glass and I need plastic for younger children. I was told I am unable to return because Wal-Mart looses money. How? You could have taken them back and still at 50% sold to someone who can use them. You still had many on the shelf. I am a mother of three and one of them a two-month old on a single salary. All were in resellable condition all of them accompanied with a receipt. This is shady- no signs said final sale, no policies stated that and to make matters worse corporate said they may be different store to store. Well now over 8 dollars you lost more than that, because you lost a customer. I don't do shady tactics. A sign would have helped clearly state to the buyer this is final sale. It's not clearance.....this seems like you are taking advantage of customers if they change their mind or something doesn't work out. read more
