I drove over to a plaza where there was a Kohl's to shop. I noticed this Dollar Tree next door. I…read morewanted to check it out and I did. I ended up parking in front of the midpoint of both stores. I then walked over to Dollar Tree. There is a ton of parking in this plaza. Since it was a couple of days since I had arrived in Nashville, I was already thinking about doing laundry. I find that Dollar Tree has the best laundry supplies rather than shelling out for them at any hotel. I ended up getting a small box of Gain scent enhancers and a small bottle of Gain liquid laundry detergent. I am normally not matchy-matchy with these items, but it was kind of funny that it happened. This store had cute, small Disney plushies. I looked at them fondly such that a woman felt like she needed to take a look. She was not as enamoured with them as I was. This store has a decent assortment of sugar-free candy. I got a package of lemon drops and a package of Werther's original. They are yummy. I brought the remainders back to Markham. The sugar-free single packet drink flavours are also great. This store has Hawaiian Punch, which was new to me in this format. I paid for my items and got a nice woman at the cashout area. I used a credit card. Tap worked fine here. We wished each other a nice day and I left with my goods. The liquid laundry detergent lasted my entire stay in Nashville. I did two loads of laundry. You don't need a whole lot of scent enhancers, so I brought what I had left back. I do love the smell of Gain. When I unpacked one of my pieces of luggage, I saw a note from Transportation Security Administration indicating that my luggage was randomly inspected. I think this inspector would have been pleased at the scent of clean laundry with scent enhancers while conducting my luggage review. Well, at least it made me happy taking a whiff. It's a good Dollar Tree. It's also deadly having two of my favourite stores side by side. (252)

I do miss the Starbucks that I called my go-to cafe while in Nashville. It was in a plaza. Across…read morefrom it was both a Ruby Tuesday restaurant and this Dollar Tree. The best part about being in Nashville was that one business led me to visit others nearby. It was definitely the case here. After stuffing myself silly with a late lunch at Ruby Tuesday, I waddled over to Dollar Tree to work off my meal. I'm glad that I could, as this store had nice air conditioning. I was here to get an auxiliary cable. To make a long story short, I used to carry one in my travels when I had an iPod. Since most portable speakers connect to devices these days through bluetooth, I dropped carrying one. Well, guess what? I bought a Grogu speaker that dances to whatever music that you play, but it uses an aux cable. Really? Ugh! Thank goodness this Dollar Tree came to the rescue. Not only did it have aux cables, but they came in pretty colours. I got a purple one. It is likely the fanciest one that I have ever owned and it's from a dollar store. While in the phone accessories section, I saw a cute duck screen cleaner. It was like a small finger puppet, but it works well and I now have it in my purse at all times. I dropped by two days before the 4th of July. I remember all the patriotic items. I saw a festive gnome scarf. I thought it would be nice to watch the fireworks with it dubbing as my hairband and got it. For $1.25, it was a steal. I also like gnomes. I find practical, fun items at Dollar Tree. I also needed a case for a pair of sunglasses that I had purchased a few days before coming here. I got a cheerful pink ones with hearts. It was perfect and protected my sunglasses when they came over the border with me. The snacks section is deadly and cool. I've never seen Starburst jello before. Rib-flavoured chips caught my attention, as did the assortment of pork rinds. Cookies stand out at this store. You can get single packages of Milano cookies. If you don't want a regular package of them, you can opt for the smaller, single versions. I saw something similar with Oreo cookies. It's perfect, especially when you are travelling and don't want to haul an entire package with you. There is a frozen foods section at the back. I salivated over the breakfast sandwiches. I didn't get any because the hotel offered excellent hot ones, but the breakfast items looked yummy. The man who cashed me out was great. He was friendly and seemed to enjoy chatting with folks. I paid with a credit card and all was great. I thanked him and took my goodies with me. I tried my aux cable at the hotel. Both it and my Grogu speaker functioned well. This cable is now permanently a part of my cable collection whenever I travel. I parked under a tree so that I wasn't burning when I got into my car. It became a habit of mine while in Nashville. It works nicely. (256)

Priced ridiculously marked up!. Ex: Vitamix A2300 not new (retail returned item). Dirt cheap…read moresticker $1269.02. Then two written prices on box $499/30% off. $449 twice written on the box. Got it at $360. Which is incorrect. This Mother Day with an additional 20% off. Which the discount should be 50%. Searched Vitamix A2300 new on Vitamix website on sale for $449. Item I bought was not new it was used and returned. Just because the manual/ menu book is still sealed does not make the item new condition. Called store manager Billy he do not what I am asking him..lol. I did not ask for anything as of yet. Just looking for an explanation on the pricing? The store set up and pricing is confusing to shoppers and workers in the store. The employees even states the prices are not dirt cheap for sure. Unless it's misc small products that can go for 90% off. Basically stuff average people just don't buy anymore. I believe all these businesses are going down and now they overcharged and price gouging. Damn you have to research every little thing you buy in these days. Companies illegally robbing consumers and protected by bullshit laws. Change is coming!
