Woke up this morning to hearing a kitty meowing somewhere under my hood. I attempted to go to firestone autoshop where I was brushed off and they refused to help. This is when I called walmart auto and asked if they were able to help. When we got there a kind young man named Jacob walked up and was bound and determined to help us. After about 15 minutes of looking around the car he finally located the bushy tailed bright eyed kitten. Jacob was amazing and has said this was the second cat he has had to help out. He truly was a hero today and deserves the best. If you ever need help and hear a meow coming somewhere from your vehicle take it to this walmart and they will help you no matter how busy they are. read more

We stayed the night at a nearby hotel. Ran in to get some bottled water and windshield washer fluid before hitting the road again. Loved that we were able to grab the needed items be on our way. We even gassed up at the Walmart/Sam's gas pumps out front. As for this store, we were able to find our items and a couple other things as well. Randomly, on the way to the auto area, I passed the Women's clothes and they had a pair of black mesh shorts in MY SIZE that my local Walmart NEVER has in stock. Grabbed those as well!! I don't recall noticing the store in disarray. Seemed pretty clean. My husband used the restroom here and he said they were ok. Not great but not terrible. We used the self checkouts and didn't have a wait. I don't mind ringing out myself. From the exterior, I wasn't expecting much. Maybe they're repainting soon??? Looked pretty ghetto. read more

Debit card only and cashier's were not helpful and rude with the exception of one. They lack a sense of urgency. And the fact that there were only 2 register that took cash last night and they have the same issue the following day is observed considering the volume of customer the get. 2 bad experience in a row. read more

As a general rule, I only shop here when absolutely necessary. I usually do business with the Walmart in Milan or Humboldt even though they are a long drive. The north Jackson Walmart seems to have a huge problem with theft, shoplifting, and disturbances inside the store and hit-and-runs, collisions, and shady people in the parking lot. I've been there several times when shoplifters were caught. In fact it happened the last three times I was there. Our local news last night reported a shooting inside the store! Handicapped parking here is a joke. Spaces are there, but non-handicapped people use them. Rude and inconsiderate. The motorized shopping carts are In deplorable condition and are in disrepair. The batteries are usually dead. Maintenance on the store is non-existent. read more

Pathetic, 1 star for being consistent with for poor service, first delivery order I get someone else's groceries, next delivery order they bring to someone else's house and have to go back and get them, 3rd order for delivery I get expired chicken cutlets, this time I pick up my order , get home and 7 items are missing. You then have to go in circles to get someone on the phone and it's a problem they have to speak to you. Hope one day management sees there's a problem with so many complaints and bad reviews. read more

Ohhh the employees here are all rude the managers are all rude you can't asked for help because they don't know where anything is nothing but kids work here literally nothing but kids the only adults that work here are the managers and they act like the kids stuck up rude and nonchalant they make 14 dollars a hour to literally do nothing at all but walk around and listen to music and they are always upset and angry and annoyed as if we told them to apply for a job and the freezer food is always either freezer burned or old I don't get it read more

I went to pick up my scheduled grocery delivery at Walmart on emporium Drive in Jackson Tennessee in April 2022. As I was approaching the grocery pick up area I felt a large thud collision with my driver's back portion of my truck. I looked to that area and saw a shopping cart bounce away from my truck and a Walmart employee wearing a Walmart vest about 15 ft away looking directly at me. I informed the store personnel who directed me to their complaint person who took a report and pictures of the damage to my nice truck. She said she would send the complaint in and I would hear within a few days from Walmart corporate. Walmart corporate did call but would not provide me with a copy of the video of the incident so I can prove to the police that their employee damaged my truck intentionally. Walmart corporate said since they could not tell how the damage occurred they would not pay to restore my truck. Walmart should be legally responsible for accidents but they are absolutely 100% responsible for intentional damage done by one of their criminal employees. I have audio recordings of those conversations to verify these statements. read more

After waiting at the jewelry department for 45 minutes & calling for a worker multiple times. A random worker finally admitted they don't even have a key for jewelry. So then after checking out our other items ( around $40) the lady at the door accuses us of stealing. DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

The bar for Walmart is already pretty low but when a cashier blatantly says she won't check you out because she's going on break in 8 minutes and we have too much stuff for her to check us out in 8 minutes there's nothing that'll make you want to leave your stuff and walk away more than that. But then she chooses out another person after we walked away. The other cashiers were just as bad. We had originally gotten in another line but he told us to go to this girls line and she said nope her lane is closed because her break was in 8 minutes. This girl was just standing there at her checkout lane with the light off waiting for break. And the other employees gave us lip about how we don't work there all day so they don't blame her for not checking us out. I have never seen such lazy, disrespectful, unprofessional employees at Walmart before this and that's saying something. So my advice, just go to Target! read more

Not even a star. I was traveling threw the state stop to get sodas water n snacks for kids. Not only was I spoke to rudely by 3 different employees but I was told " it ain't my job to tell you or anyone were @&$& shit is. I had 2 small children with me. The woman had tattooed lips or they had black lip stick on and a Yellow vest. Stay away from that person. This is by far the filthiest Walmart I've ever been in. I unfortunately desperately had to use the restroom otherwise I would have walked out as soon as I entered. The restrooms have obviously NEVER been cleaned since the store was built. The sinks were so freaking dirty that I couldn't, shouldn't, wouldn't wash my hands there so no produce was purchased because I feared that employees washed in that filth!! I honestly can't believe I'm writing a review about Wal-Mart. BUT this is something I had to do. For you, for me, and for well... anyone who can agree that this place pretty much sucks. I've been to tons of Wal-Marts. I have had my fair share of 'People of Wal-Mart' sightings, but the north Jackson location keeps me fairly entertained when it comes to that note. Everyone who IS NOT from Jackson, Tennessee flocks to this Wal-Mart as well. It's an interesting mix of people for sure. Let me set up the scenario: It's Thanksgiving night. The Black Friday prices are up, and every single person from Obion, Chester, Hardeman, Henderson, Carroll, and Crockett County are at the Wal-Mart with their relatives from out of town. Not a single Madison County resident in sight. The parking lot is full from Chili's all the way to Sam's Club with shoppers. Ok, you get it? This is the one particular night, my mom insists on sending me on a last minute shopping run for my sister to get my niece a Monster High doll. My parents live 2 minutes from the Wal-Mart and the Columns. It shouldn't take an hour to get through traffic to make a Wal-Mart run. It's a f-ing nightmare! As if going in there was not a pain in itself. Going this particular night was only amplified by a thousand. People don't know how to drive in these compacted parking lots. They don't even know how to steer their shopping carts while in the store, let alone on Black Thursday! I barely got into the place. It was barricaded back to back with shopping buggies, and I could not maneuver through the crowds. I ended up detouring through clothing to get over to toys only to find everything off the shelves within two minutes after they let the bulls run. Nothing was left. They did not even have what my sister needed in the first place. The dolls had vacated the shelves and some even managed to lay half heartily in the floor. After all the chaos, and near head on collisions with all the carts and crazy rednecks, they didn't have the damn things in stock! It was my time to vacate the premises. Zig zagging once again to get out of the place, it took me ten minutes to finally make it out the door after the fact. The line for the cash registered made it even more restricting on getting out of there. They probably were about to wait 30-45 minutes to check out. This is nothing out of the unusual though either. Unfortunately, this seems to be the ongoing trend of this Wal-Mart. It's always busy, people don't know how to drive, and the characters of the Wal-Mart make it somewhat intimating. Giving that is a Thursday night after Thanksgiving, don't be surprised if a typical day holds the same kind of terror as my unpleasant experience. Boy oh boy is this place loaded down with great prices on picnic items!!! The staff was so eager to assists searching for items!! Seems like these folks like what they do, the manager was coaching the staff along as they were bring stick items out to the floor!! Great job to this store for making you folks happy!! read more

Had a flat on my moving can and came in at 5:30 on a Sunday and they close at 6. Told me they wouldn't mount it because they wanted to close right at 6 and they were too busy for us. Thanks Walmart. Now I'm stranded in this town 1000 miles from home and 1000 miles from my destination. Will never come here again. Or any Walmart for that Matter. read more

I shop at this location every week sometimes a couple of times a week. On 2/12/21 I placed and order for pickup. I later that day had to return two of the items at approximately 1pm. I proceeded to "Customer Service," if that's what you want to call it, to start my return. The first associate I encountered completely ignored me as I began to talk to her and instead struck up a conversation with another associate about her lunch break and then walked off! The other associate came over and started my return but then started questioning when the purchase was made saying I made the purchase in 12/20 on one particular item When in fact I had purchased it online the evening of 2/11/21, I am not sure what her problem was as I was holding my phone in my hand showing the order #, with the date of pickup etc. Anywho, when she got to the second item she said it already been returned and snatched it up and refused to return my money only returning the money for the first item! What was I supposed to do? She took the item and refused to return the money I had paid for it after she repeatedly argued that it had been returned and even called over a manager who also said the item showed it had been returned! I then contacted customer service for grocery pickup! They showed that there was NO EVIDENCE of that item having been returned OR even in the process of having a return started! They, customer service for online pickup, refunded my money and apologized! So, this store needs some employee training in what customer service means, it doesn't mean walk away like people don't exist when you are on the clock, it means do your job with a smile and great attitude AND never treat your loyal customers like crap, because I am and others will walk away and go somewhere else!!!! This location deserves ZERO stars from me, but for the sake of warning others, I had to give it 1!! read more

The restroom at the back of the store is so bad. Shame on the employees for letting it get that bad. I've worked lots of places where cleaning restrooms was one of my duties and I would've never let one get like this. The floors probably haven't been mopped in weeks. And if they have been, they probably used the same mop water from previous days which is common among today's hourly employee. Ridiculous!! read more
