So this place is supposedly a second hand "thrift store"from what I was told by my friend who loves…read morethis store. She does not wear an outfit more than once so she says this is her favorite store because she wears something, comes in and either exchanges it or buy something else. The owner is super super sweet but the prices are very expensive. A shirt ranges from $100 to a couple hundred dollars for a basic tank top. I bought some jeans in there that I did a Google reverse image and I could easily buy $18 on Poshmark or eBay but I paid $50 here for the same exact thing to keep money local. My friend said oh you couldn't have bought those for $18 and I showed her yes that it was the same exact brand style etc. for less than half. So that is why I gave this place three stars is because they're pricing is a little crazy. I'm not sure if she takes certain brands but it's the higher end clothing she will take in and give you store credit for or purchase from you. So if you like higher end items then this is probably the place for you to go.

Every time I go in it feels like there's a neighborhood women's party happening, and they were expecting me. I meet people, shop, chat, laugh, support other shoppers, and leave refreshed. Bethany remembers what I bought three times ago, and knows what I want to see when I walk in, because she picked it up with me in mind. This is the perfect little downtown gem of a store and a bright spot experience that you need to get in on, sister!

Goodwill Retail Store of Middle Tennessee

I will never understand why this says Middle Tennessee when this is in Jackson. WEST SIDE, baby! I…read morelive in Nashville and am from Jackson. Moving on. Anyone who is from Jackson will understand when you say the "out south" Goodwill is better than the one up north. Here's there thing. The north location is in the perfect location surrounded by everything that Jackson has for any sort of shopping excursion, whereas, "out south", you have untapped treasure waiting to be discovered. 99% of the time when I am in town, my 90 year old nearly blind grandmother will come to this location first before going out north. Now, why mention she is 90 and nearly blind? Well, to say the least, this woman still knows how to spot a deal and age is only but a number. I go home almost every month to take her to the 50% off Saturday sale and south is where we go. My parents and her live a solid 4 minutes from the north location, but it simply is depleted for resources unless you go when they first open along with the rest of the masses. We don't scramble to get up on our Saturdays for that. Our latest endeavor, I scored 7 new shirts/sweaters and 2 new dresses. I needed some new tops for the fall/winter season since I purged my wardrobe back in the spring of bigger sized items. Following our visit to this location, we only found 2 items between us that we were even interested in. We are definitely scavengers for our Goodwill finds. My step dad is more of a bargain hunter than my grandmother and I. He will spend oodles of hours looking for the next best thing to sale on Ebay. 2 weeks ago he bought an atlas for $10 then turned around and sold it for $500 on Ebay. Do these things happen frequently? Actually, yes! He does pretty great for himself and as mentioned, the south location does accolades better than north. Trust me, forgo The Columns and head to Bemis. You'll see my point 5 minutes into your visit.
