A staff named Alan came by explained he couldn't open it but called on his walkie talkie for someone to help. 10 minutes later I pressed the page button again. And Alan just came by and called on his walkie talkie again for help. This happened last week in the make up aisle. Shout out to Alissa and Raechal for being the worst managers I've ever met!! Had a ridiculous experience today. I was told they had an item in stock so I drove 30 minutes to get there, when I arrived they had one item left in the display and refused to sell it to me. It was a mini baby doll toy, their argument of it possibly being defective was absolutely ridiculous. Associates were rude and unhelpful, arguments against helping me were ridiculous and the service couldn't be worse. Look, folks. It's a Walmart, not Needham Marcus. For the love of all that is good and Holy, lighten up. They aren't rolling out the red carpet for you. There are hardly even have Hors d'oeuvre (read samples). But we all know the place. Products on the cheap, groceries, layaway when it's near the Holidays. You come here for one-stop shopping, not luxury and pampering. Pros: There's one near you. And this one is halfway decent. "Do they have it?" Yeah, they probably have it. Cons: Bathroom is always being cleaned and yet, is never clean. This is because people are pigs and reflects more on humans being gross than staff not doing their job. Calling the store: I mean, have you actually BEEN to a Walmart? Just don't. Or, if you feel the need for an exercise in futility, get in a row boat, head out onto Lake Michigan, throw an oar out of the boat, and row in circles for a while. That should cure it. BOTTOM LINE: It's one stop shopping, not a day at the Spa. Utility is the word you're looking for. read more

Ordered my granddaughters 1st Birthday cake and 24 cupcakes. Inclued with the order, was to be a FREE smash cake Instructions on the design were given in detail regarding the color, and the design, which was a design they carry in their cake design book on the counter. The lady repeated the entire order, with the express directions and repeated it correctly. The bakery lady asked me what time I would like to pickup, and she was told 5pm on 10/8/22. Upon arrival, the bakery closed at 3pm, and the deli clerk had to retrieve my order. He bought out the cupcakes, which were correct. The cake was brought out and it was very clearly incorrect. The crown design was too big, and not placed correctly on the cake. The pink icing was to be dark pink and it was very noticeably light pink. There were way too many gold dots on the cake, which did not look like the picture. To top everything else off, there was NO SMASH CAKE!!!! I understand it was FREE, but it was to be included if your order was over $14. Both the incorrect cake and the cupcakes totaled over $26. Needless to say, this was a huge disappointment for my granddaughters 1st Birthday. The 1st Birthday cake AND her smash cake! I felt like something was not going to go right, but gave Walmart the benefit of the doubt. My gut feeling was right, and this will probably be my last time entrusting them with something this significant. Shame on Walmart for not following instructions as given even after they repeated he order back correctly. read more

It's hard to rate this Walmart Supercenter. I have been in here twice today. I have a really great benefit with my health insurance that allows me to get so much O-T-C every quarter. The only thing is, if it says 200 tablets and they are out, you can't get two 100 count. This morning I asked a woman who stocks the shelves about something they were out of. She pretty much growled that they were out until the end of the month. No smIle, not one bit of niceness. I still said thank you and smiled. Tony and I came back tonight and had to go to customer service. She was fairly nice and did what she could do then took us over to a regular cashier. That cashier was so very nice. I wish I had asked her name. So I guess I'm actually rating the store on the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. I did notice that the door alarm went off 5 or 6 times during our morning run and 3 or 4 times this evening. It's a shame that no one is allowed to go after the people who are stealing from the store. The thieves all know it to. The prices are affected by all of the things that are stolen. I don't know the answer unless they hire an off duty police officer to stop and search all who have set off the alarm. That might curb the theft too. read more

This Walmart has such a major theft problem that they've now made it impossible to purchase beauty products. Everything is kept behind a glass case. If you want something from the case you hit a button to alert employees. I have gone to this Walmart to buy false eyelashes FIVE TIMES. Each time, absolutely no one came to help me. I pressed the button. I hunted down people that worked there and was met with "we'll send someone over". I waited for a ridiculous amount of time. I've done all of this way more than once. When I realized that no one cared enough to do their job I left and decided to purchase what I wanted off of Amazon, instead. I have no time for the foolishness that this particular Walmart doles out on the regular. Avoid it. read more

Took my grandkids in here; wish I hadn't. We were traveling through and didn't know the store or the area. I should have turned around once I noticed all the store security. "Just a short stop to grab s few things for the road I said." What should have taken 15" took an hour. Checker was the slowest I've ever seen. We bet she had the best accuracy of any store employee (that's a joke). While in line waiting to check out we all were treated to a profanity laced discussion between a "customer" and store management and security. Never returning here obviously. read more

Today only one self service area open with 15 customers waiting in line. 20 minutes just to get to scanners. Poor service. If anybody knows me, they know I'm never ashamed to go to Walmart. In Indy, I learned that Walmarts are a bit of a drive, but even then, I think the prices and selection are well worth it. This particular Walmart is about 20-25 minutes from where I live, but I was only 8 minutes away from it when I was going to an indoor park for my son. Am I contemplating taking the 25 minute drive instead of my normal 11 minute drive to the one on Lafayette St? Absolutely. The store is much less crowded and way more organized. I feel like they do have a lot more space and they have multiple aisles worth of clearance items that extend back to the gardening section. My discount winners of the day were 3x5 ft area rugs for high-traffic priced at only $4. Those high quality rugs are usually super high priced. I felt like anywhere I turned there was a Walmart employee actually doing his or her job stocking or keeping the place spotless. I was looking a bit lost in the automotive section trying to find windshield washer fluid and an employee actually asked me if I needed help finding something. He helped me locate my item. I asked another employee where I could find water filters...she knew exactly where they were. And last but not least, my cashier was efficient and friendly. Overall, such a pleasant experience in this store. I have frequented numerous Walmarts but this one is my new favorite. It is even better than the one in Scottsdale, a very rich city in AZ. We bought a computer online from Walmart ( Refurbished HP 6305-SFF Desktop PC with AMD A4-5300B Processor, 8GB Memory, 1TB Hard Drive and Windows 10 Pro from Joy Systems ). We did in store pickup and had no problems picking it up. The computer went together easily and worked well. Windows 10 is not the most user friendly but that's on Microsoft. Use Internet Explorer to download anything because the default browser called Edge will let you download but not install which was seriously frustrating until I read online about someone else having the same problem. Would recommend the computer but wish they had an option of Windows 7 or 8. This was for my mom who found Windows 10 a bit of a learning curve. The store itself is okay but the lines tend to be long. It's best to go early in the morning when there aren't as many people here. read more

This was another store that used to be a nice store to go to but now not so much. The unfortunate thing is let's face it some people could care less and will throw things anywhere and everywhere. Also kids running loose with no parent supervision. I feel that there are some employees in the store that take pride in their jobs and try to help and then you got the ones that are there for the check. I went to walmart when I got off work to grab a few items for dinner and my daughters WIC. Everything was good until I go to check out. The cashier who doesn't greet me at all clearly has an attitude, I ignored it and started putting my things on the counter to be checked out. Very loud and rude did she ask "Is this WIC or Food Stamps" and even though a portion of my purchase was WIC she didn't know that because I had other non WIC items as well. I tell her it is WIC and she says to the lady at the next register "This lady has WIC come do this" The cashier comes over to help and they proceed to have a conversation RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME about how they dont have assistance and if people worked they wouldn't have to be doing all of this extra work. I was embarrassed and PISSED. I couldn't wait to get up out of there. when she was done I let her know that she needs to find another profession because Customer service is clearly not for her and that I would be letting a manager know about how she acted towards me in that store. Her reply was "whatever" I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS WALMART ANYTIME SOON. read more

They did the tires and literally forgot about the the oil change until I went up the desk and asked what was taking so long. Then they took AN HOUR for an oil change.
