The store has lots of good merchandise and some not so good cheap stuff. I can usually find most of what I'm looking for even if it's not the brand name I want. Today I purchased lots of paper products, from paper towels to bathroom tissue, and a little do it yourself pest control. All items were at good prices. The biggest downer was the obvious surveillance of me while at the self checkout. The observer/associate was so obvious about watching me to the degree that he lost awareness that there were customers who needed his assistance! Just getting to this Walmart from Pensacola or Milton was $5 in tolls so just make sure you really need to come here before you do if you're coming from either of these directions. The Walmart itself was in okay shape. Clean. Not cluttered. My dad and I ended up buying dinner and snacks. They didn't have a very wide selection of specific items since it's a smaller Walmart. For example, I wanted birthday cake ice cream, but had to settle to cookies n creme. Overall, this Walmart is great for residents or guests staying in Gulf Breeze. read more

This is by far the cleanest and nicest Walmart we've ever been to! Staff were friendly and location is convenient.

I can't speak for the customer service because I try to avoid talking to people at stores at all cost... but the cleanliness and lay out was amazing. They have everything you need. The clothes too... this Walmart has some of the best high quality clothes I've seen at any Walmart. read more

This place is a joke, especially the automotive dept. I had to go to parts store down highway to get a oil filter for them to change my oil because they was out, and I was getting new tires and checked with them to make sure they had them the day before and they said we have plenty of that kind and go in next morning and they say their out of them tires. So I upgraded to more expensive tire and they say machine is broke to lift car and can only put on two tires and you haft to come back to have other two put on. Their a waste of time and a headache. I drove to Navarre Walmart and they had the tires and put them on cheaper. read more

WORST Walmart I've EVER visited, I live in Pensacola and my mom and I decided to stop by this Walmart prior to going on the beach.One of the staffs at self checkout yelled aloud for us not to cut line because we went to one of the registers that was located in the front when two other customers were waiting for the ones in the back. Not only was it an embarrassment but it was disrespectful. Especially when the other customers didn't have a problem with it. Wow is all I have to say! This is my favorite WalMart ever!!!! They have an awesome craft section! Totally unexpected from WalMart and so much cheaper then Hobby Lobby and Michael's and have a better pony bead and ribbon selection. They have an awesome clearance section too!!! I always find cute clothes marked down to $1-$3. Brands like Miley Cyrus and Op. They have a nice produce section and bakery. Like I said this is my favorite WalMart ever!!! read more

UGH. I detest the fact that I live on the island with so few grocery choices. When I sourcing organic fruits and veggies, and meats I prefer to shop at PUBLIX MARKET. We're on a very tight budget but If you watch circulars and with some coupons, you can make it work. Sometimes I fail to do so, and so I am driven to go to this disgusting Walmart. This store is just bad all the way from the front door, down the aisles to the check out lines. I know it's just a stupid Walmart, but it has very poor selections and not really all that great pricing. Add to that you're pretty much guaranteed a long wait in line, no matter what time a day you go. There is NO customer service here, I feel sorry for the beleaguered individuals who have to work here. No self check-out, I guess because of theft; This is the Walmart that time forgot. So, if you drive down to Gulf Breeze proper to the Walmart Lite or "Neighborhood Fresh Market" or head to the one in Navarre you'll find a clean store, well staffed and decent produce and good selection of meats. 15 total available lanes and only 5 open. Two of the open lanes were express lanes. Lines were long and many people frustrated. So only 3 lanes for people with 20 or more items. I spent more time in line than shopping for my items. Total line time 17 minutes. read more

Nothing but great things to say about this Walmart. I really enjoy shopping here. The employees are always so nice and helpful. One time I was looking for a coffee and couldn't find it. One of the stockers asked if he could help me and ended up going into the back of the store and found what I was looking for. I didn't even ask him to do that. It's like this all the time. They always ask how you are doing. They are always smiling and talk with you. This place is always clean and fully stocked. Who ever runs this store is doing an awesome job! BEWARE OF PHARMACIST KATHLEEN RITA BERTELLI - LICENSE #PS21975 This Pharmacist is down right rude and sarcastic! Your time, condition, or life doesn't matter only her lunch. I arrived 5 minutes before lunch closing break @ 1:30 to find the pharmacist had already pretty much shut down the place. Gates closed etc. When I approached the drop off counter. Kathleen the head Pharmacist on-duty, let me restate the words "on-duty" approached me. I said hello, I have been working with Donna on an insurance issue and I am in dire need of me meds you already have filled and ready for pickup. I was then immediately cut off and was told, "if it isn't something we could handle in less than 2 minutes I would have to come back later" that she had to go to lunch. I stated I had been in hospital and needed my meds and asked if they took goodrx. She said, she didn't have time again.. This time more pressing. I told her you are being "rude" and I walked away. It was not having to come back later that bothered me, but your lack of care, rude and sarcastic tone. I immediately went and got a head Walmart manager and guess what it still was not 1:30 the time the pharmacy should be closing. Manager of Walmart was nice, although they have no control over pharmacy to share my experience. Kathleen be prepared this is going to the Board for Practicing below minimum standards or negligence. How dare you negate a patients care because your rushing out the door EARLY for lunch. 1:30 is 1:30 and there was plenty of time to help me. I might have looked like crap, felt like crap.
