Unbelievable first let's start by nothing has a price, I pulled out the scanner tried to use it does not work in the store found out I wasn't the only one that was having issues with app scanners. I've Yelped over 200 Walmarts https://www.yelp.com/collection/iEN80LJSkej5A7UvndopUw/ and this one needs some serious attention. I've never seen so much merchandise on the floor, so many clothes tossed back on to shelves and general untidiness in the menswear and womenswear departments. As well, the restroom needed a cleaning as there were papers and water on the floor. Not a good experience inside the store. On the plus side, this Walmart does tolerate overnight parking. I arrived at around 9pm in my Sprinter van and departed before 6am. Parked closer to the gas station so I didn't have to listen to "Walmart Radio" all night, I was undisturbed and had a good night's sleep. Today marks the 3rd time in a year that I've rushed over to do an exchange/return, and the service desk is closed. Well within operating hours for the service desk - they just close it randomly. Greer Supercenter14055 E Wade Hampton Blvd, Greer, SC 29651, Just stay away, Very toxic place for the customer. Had an appointment for a install of tires at 6 pm on Aug 7 , 2025. Showed up 15 min early only to be told they were not going to do anymore tire installs and I would have to come back tomorrow. I told him I called at 1 pm to confirm the appointment was still good and to come on in. The refusal went on for 15 min, with the workers giving me dirty looks. After asking for the Store manager they then decided to put it in and do the tires. Then they started saying if you ordered tires that's not the correct size for the car we want install them. I told them that the online Walmart app picked the tires. They went to the inside of the door and it matched what the tires was ordered to what was on the door. they pulled it in and said they were not going to do it because one of the lug nuts was different on one of the wheels , that it was Walmart policy. Now keep in mind they put the old tires on it several years before. Same lug nuts , same studs and the same setup. While I was trying to get a return on my card for the tires and labor, several of the employees came into the office son they could laugh at me for what had happened at this point I had , had enough. One of the employees acted like he wanted to turn this into a physical thing with me, he was told to go back out to the tire bay. He waited for me to walk out and step into an area in the hall way and was still trying to get me into a physical confrontation with him. I left and will never return to this store. My Advice to this store is , If you don't want to have appointments at 6 pm don't make them!!! For customers if you don't have to use this store go to another one!! Maybe this is isolated to this store only. But as of Aug 7, 2025 it's toxic. read more

Walmart auto center in Greer was once a great place for auto care. My last visit in mid-late January 2024 was the worst service ever from any Walmart. I have always used Walmart for all my auto needs (multiple vehicles) for over a decade now. I wanted the synthetic oil change (the one that cost $50.+) and includes lubricating the chassis and other checks/services, etc.. I was told they were out of that type of oil. I also asked for new wiper blades, front and back, fix the leak in my rear passenger side tire and to rotate my tires. The only thing they did was the oil change (with a lesser type of synthetic oil?) at least I hope they did! when I first arrived, there were no other vehicles in the stalls or in line, I was the only customer, the mechanics were all sitting around socializing in the bay, no one at the counter. I waited for over an hour for them to only change my oil. I also noticed new faces, the mechanics and managers that I new were all gone, maybe this is why the service at Walmart Auto Center, Greer is as bad as Firestone in Greer. read more

Don't shop here. Management is so bad and the store shows it. Also, customers have to start working as soon as you get out of your car. Never any shopping carts inside. So you must bring in your own. When you do, they are terrible. Check all the employees on cell phones, hanging around doing nothing. Also, see how many are always on a smoke break. Also, Don't try to get a propane tank exchanged without having lunch first. It will be a LONG wait even after going back inside three more times. I bought what was supposed to be a 14k gold figarro necklace for a birthday present , paid $580. I was quite surprised to find out during the party that the necklace was fake, gold painted copper to be exact. I went the next day to return the necklace for a refund at which point i was denied, they said there wasnt anything they could do. I currently have a filed case against them, absolutely unsat. read more

No shopping experience at Wal Mart is really enjoyable to me, but they do have good prices and it is a one stop shop for a lot of things. That being said, this Wall Mart is especially terrible. The housekeeping is not good and the customer service is worse. Never go in here if you are in hurry. The lines are long. 15 to 20 minutes long. They started to catch up a little today, so they shut down several lines. It is like they want to make sure you cannot get in and out in less than 30 minutes. If there is any way to avoid this place. Update: My initial review was just on the auto services, but this update is on the store. I purchased some polyurethane here, but when I went to use it, it was already old & cured on the bottom, so it took days to dry and was essentially useless. Additionally, I was there with my kids, and my toddler needed to use the restroom. One stall in main restroom was 'out of order', and the other had feces smeared all over the seat and wasn't flushed. Nasty. An apologetic cashier said I could use the restroom at the Online Pickup center at the back of the store. They had 1 stall back there, and...massive amounts of feces unflushed in there as well. Seriously nasty. When 3 out of 3 stalls are unavailable like this, it's not a coincidence, it reflects poorly on management. AUTO SERVICES REVIEW DISHONEST! I usually take care of our cars, but time was short, this car needed an oil change, and my wife needed to pick up some things at Walmart. The plan was for her drop it off to be serviced with the BASIC (conventional oil) $20 oil change while she shopped. She called and told me the Auto Service rep (Joshua...who wasn't wearing a nametag, but she found his name from a photo on the wall of employees) was telling her she NEEDED the Synthetic for $50. She asked if he was sure (because she doesn't know), and he said "Yeah, do you want me to show it to you in the book?" Had he been uncertain, he could have said, "I'm not sure, I need to check", and that's cool...but he knew the game he was playing. Of course synthetic is better, but it isn't needed in my car. My wife handed the phone to Joshua, I told him I wanted the $20 one, and he said "Ok, I just had to be sure you REALLY wanted the basic one." Very disrespectful & dishonest, trying to take advantage of people who may not know as much. I doubt this was his first, or last, offense. Honesty is important anywhere, but when "dishonest mechanic" is a phrase we so easily toss around, because it's a real issue, honesty is the most important criteria for an auto service center, and thanks to Joshua, this Walmart doesn't have it. If you have to go to Walmart DONT go to this one. It's filthy and shelves were not stocked. Manager Barnwell get your act together and do your job. The check out lines that were open each had lines of twelve people at least. You lost customers. I saw them leave. I heard them complain. The cash register employees were working as fast as they could. There were employees walking around back and forth not doing anything that I could see. And I did have time to watch. You did give me plenty of time to write this review. You could not be found or I would have told you to your face. OPEN SOME REGISTERS. Your losing customers. This Walmart is terrible. It is always dirty and never fully stocked. They are always out of most items on my grocery list. It looks like a second hand five and dime with everyone else's leftovers. They never have what I'm looking for in this store. They are under staffed, never enough registers open, your waiting in line at least 20-30 minutes before checking out. It is really run down. I have been to walmarts all over South Carolina and throughout the United states and this is my favorite. Not because its grand in terms of newness (although a lot of new changes have been made) but because of the atmosphere. This walmart was a different atmosphere. This walmart is one of the better walmarts. The staff is friendly and theres a very nice guy who talks to us when we come in to buy groceries every week named dmarco. He is so sweet. He is a greeter. The store doesn't have as much as other walmarts but what do you expect from greer? It's a small town. It's got good deals and we like the new self checkout lanes. It is so much faster and it makes it so much easier for me to shop. I have tourette's and anxiety and it is convenient to be able to get what I need, pay, and leave without waiting in those long lines read more

I just didn't know where to go with this and somehow I ended up here so here's my story.I don't sleep very much so I usually go to Walmar 5 times a week ,usually between 1am and 5am.I buy something every time I go.I know where everything is and most of the prices.On this particular night I decided to go to the" Garden Center" part of Walmart.In order to do this you have to go through these big sliding glass doors..I went through and looked at several different veg. garden items.After 15 minutes I started to leave and the glASS DOORS WOULDN'T OPEN..This really didn't bother me so I tried to open by hand and,nothing happened.I knocked as hard as I could and still nothing.I am disabled walk but need a buggy)so I took my cane and hit the door as hard as I could.I had been diagnosed with a hernia the week before and was scheduled for surgery in 4 days.but I still beat that door.I called WalMart on my phone and the person that answered said no one was back there but she would check it out.I sat and waited 5 min I called again and the girl cursed me.and hung up.I called right back and tried to explain but was hung up on.Tried again and she answered saying"Greer Police Dept".I figured thAT SHE THOUGHT THE Calls were a prank so I tried to explain,she said someone was on the way.Waited 5 more min and nothing.I called the Greer Police but had trouble finding the right number.ThiRty minutes Had PASSED,MY HERNIA AND BACK WERE KILLING ME(Sorry for the typing and caps but I'm reliving this again).I was getting a little worried,why wouldn't someone come or why couldn't they here my yelling and beating of the door???Any way after 8 calls a young security finally showed up and opened the door.What a relief,my heart was racing and I was mad.I told him to follow me to managers office.I was met by her when we arrived up front.I was hyper ventilating and could hardly speak ,but tried to explain or tell her the story.She was very apologetic and went to the office to get something.I sat down at the blood pressure machine and waited I tried to take my blood pressure but I guess it was to irregular to take.Im going to finish here because I'm tired and mad.The manager gave me a 30 dol gift cert.and said she would get to the bottom.I showed her my phone as proof of making 8 calls and being stuck for 44 minutes.By the way I'm a 59 year old male and still go to wallmart(cant get near garden center)My hernia operation has been delayed because of irregular spikes in my heart beat.Was WalMart the cause? read more

Got accused of stealing something at the self checkout! and GOT ARRESTED! I had scanned an item and then decided it was too high and asked the cashier to void the item, well the cashier proceed to place it back into MY cart! i didn't notice it and walked out the door. The alarm goes off! still didnt notice it, and i even handed the receipt to the door greeter and he examined my receipt and said have a nice day! so i head to my car, and he is loss prevention grabbing my arm(i thought they were trying to mug me, and asking for my receipt. I then notice the item i asked to be taken off my transaction! RIGHT THERE! i tried to explain it to them nicely and they drug me back into the store. and said they just needed to fill out a report and i could go home, no. Greer police rolls in and takes me to jail. UNBELIEVABLE. I have never committed a crime in my life. I have never stolen and never will. But i can assure you this will not go without me doing something. The loss prevention needs to be fired. And charged with assault for spraining my wrist. Oh yeah, that really happened. I just got out of the hospitals with the x-rays to prove it. Get ready for a law suit, and that cocky arrogant loser LP officer, will soon be unemployed. Even though he was kind of cute...
