The managers allow underage smoking and chewing on the store grounds and they do not do adequate filling when it comes to reprimanding employees. When they fire or dismiss employees they do not explain why or give explanation in witting. They do not document incidents of sexual harassment or other discipline incidents, This facility is fility and represents this corporation poorly . All this may be verified by a spot inspection and a review of the employee files which are not even keep up, nor do they notify corporate when employees are arrested locally for DWI or other criminal activities. Also the business files for tax break with IRS for hiring employees that are on public or government assistance then does not comply with the law that requires these persons to work six months or more before being eligible for this tax credit, which is clearly tax fraud and also can be verified upon investigation or AUDIT. We will contact Internal Revenue and bring this to their attention. My son Dillen Lambert work at this store a very short time and witness all the above, also including young girls and women putting up with undue sexual harassment from supervisors whom threaten those Lady's the loss of their jobs if they did not comply . When Dillen Lambert confronted another employee who had worked there for two years he was fired without any paper work explain his dismissal due to a complaint from the other employee who as the one for whom was groping the cashiers and speaking to them inappropriately. I don't know if it was incompetence or laziness.....I asked to have a 5lbs bottom round sliced at 1/4 inch for jerky. The guy asked if he could do that to another employee and I explained (I shouldn't have to) that I've had it done before. This is the butcher area of the meat department......a lady walked up and tells me it will take forever to get done . I said "to slice a 5lbs bottom round?" She said "ya, you usually need to call in a day before to have something like this done so we have time." Absolutely mind blown . It's take 3-4 minutes tops to slice one. Mind you, this is after I explained I've had it done multiple times. I just laughed and left. I didn't even trust them to slice it at this point. She told me it would take approximately 1 hour to accomplish lol. I left and had it down somewhere else in under 10 minutes. While this place is usually just OKAY, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth after this interaction. Obviously I'll still go back for some things, but I'll be avoiding this meat department. I would rather pay a little more somewhere else than deal with that type of service again.
