The store was large and contained the usual departments: fruits, vegetables, pantry items, meats, seafoods, dairy products, beverages, snacks, prepared foods, baked goods, pet supplies, flowers, gift cards, etcetera. The store also had a pharmacy. During our checkout, the cashier interacted nicely with us. The prices were average. We like to use Giant Eagle's rewards program to earn perks on future purchases.

This angered me so much and it's not the first time it's happened many times, that I am shopping somewhere else! For an active employee to refuse to slice a paying customer lunchmeat is ridiculous!!! I will never shop here again!! There were two female staff members that were very professional and kind. The owner/pharmacist greeted us and returned our insurance cards immediately to us so they would not get lost. The wait time was minimal and they were courteous to a breastfeeding mom having to feed an infant in their waiting area. We are happy to have them as our new pharmacy. Having grown up in Erie, our local pharmacies never provided such individualized and personable service. We appreciated it. We look forward to more positive experiences. Even when I was too sick to pick up my own medication three different people that I pick up my medication for me told me that they are very rude. One of the owners in particular seemed to take an interest in scrutinizing me every time I came in. Although doing your job and making sure that things were described as necessary step in the right time frame it was always done in a very disheartening manner. You don't need to talk down to people to ask questions necessary to do your job . I would recommend going with your mail order or a reputable big box pharmacy. Never thought I would hear myself say that. There are a few small local pharmacies left in the area.
