I had already purchased a dress from Alfred Angelo in Boardman Ohio and it came in 2 sizes too big and was just a horrible look for me. So somewhat panicked I decided to just see if David's Bridal had a sale that I could get an idea of what looked good since Alfred Angelo botched it. I had low expectations going in and didnt plan to buy. Toni was my attendant. From the beginning she looked at pictures of my old dress and explained to me what I was having a hard time verbalizing that my old dress was for a taller girl with a longer waistline and therefore wasn't flattering. I was so grateful for the honest yet kind feedback and she got right to work picking out several different styles that she felt would look great with my shape and size. I ended up picking the first dress she had me try on which was stunning! It was on sale for $200 off and I cannot tell you the peace of mind that I left with yesterday having found the dress of my dreams just a month before our wedding day! I'm so glad I walked in and my advice to any bride on here is if you are having second thoughts about your dress purchase get a second opinion. If you are in the Erie area, ask for Toni- she is wonderful! Also, stay away from Alfred Angelos. They are totally overpriced and have been unprofessional to work with from the get go.

The worker I had during my dress shopping experience was phenomenal! I went back twice after…read morepurchasing my dress for alterations/fitting. During the first appointment, the staff was extremely impersonal and unhelpful. Upon leaving, the seamstress insisted I could leave my veil in the garment bag with my gown & they would steam it for me along with my dress. When I came back for my final fitting, the worker at the entdance was extremely rude. She insisted they did not have the undergarments I was requesting & that they never would have provided or recommended those undergarments for me even though I had used them for both my dress shopping and alterations appointments. I was finally able to try on my dress and soon found out that my veil was missing from my garment bag. After the seamstress and the worker from the front looked throughout the store and back room for my veil, the worker from the front then accused me of not bringing the veil in at all and stated that it was probably at my house although I had never taken it out of the garment bag since receiving it. Their solution was to give me a veil off the floor which I can only assume others had been trying on for who knows how long with no discount, reimbursement, or apology. I definitely will not be recommending their services to anyone I know in the future for bridal shopping or otherwise. There is a reason people talk poorly about the David's Bridal in Erie......

The section was a decent size, but nothing seemed to out of the ordinary. H&M is known for their monochromatic clothing and jeans. Every so often they will throw in a novelty tee or sweatshirt. Much like shopping at other stores that day, I did not find very many deals or items that were popping out at me. It didn't help that I wasn't really looking for anything in particular. Oh well, that happens sometimes when you go shopping.

This particular location is at the Millcreek Pavilion shopping center on Interchange Rd. and directly off of I-79. The building itself neighbors a Ross and Michaels as well as many other retail stores and restaurants in this area. Parking can be fairly easy no matter what time of day or evening you come. They also have very respectable hours being open Monday-Thursday from 9:30am-9:30pm, Friday from 9:30am-10:00pm, and Sunday from 11:00am-8:00pm. As many people know, HomeGoods is also part of TJX who also operate TJ Maxx and Marshall's stores around the United States, Canada, and even some European countries. HomeGoods mainly focuses on small furniture items, linens/bedding, cooking products, ceramic dinnerware, lighting, art, area rugs and other home accessories including candles, perishable food items, pet accessories, and bath decor. During my visit which was on the evening of Friday 9/15/2023 at around 8:00pm, the Erie, PA location had a decent amount of customers while the store itself was very well stocked. One employee was organizing pillows while another was sweeping the floor. I did also witness several sales associates ringing customers up as the line moved rather quickly. Again, many retail stores including this "HomeGoods" can be very busy depending on the time of day you shop. They also carry quite a bit of seasonal items to spruce up your home; autumn/Halloween from Sep-Nov, Christmas from Nov-Dec, so on and so forth. With that said and done, I am giving this store an above average four-star rating.

Ross buys overproduced and unsold merchandise from manufacturers at a discount. Typical merchandise includes clothing, footwear, linens, home decor, beauty products, housewares, etcetera. When I was walking around the store, I noticed that the racks and shelves were full of miscellaneous merchandise. Especially for clothing, customers must really sift through the racks to find what they like. I selected a bath mat for $7 and a jar of fig preserves for $4. Both of these products had prices that were significantly lower than what other retailers would charge. The cashier interacted with me in a very friendly manner. Overall, Ross is not one of my favorite stores, but I like to shop here occasionally to find bargains.

A younger guy helped us, I can't remember his name, but he was WONDERFUL! He listened carefully to everything we wanted and took our price range seriously. He helped us look at things only within the price range we could afford, and since we didn't have a whole ton of money to spare I really appreciated that, and it definitely earned my business in the future because I know I can feel comfortable coming here.
