Went to this location to get an oil change. Appointment was around 8. Went into Walmart, and by the time my wife and I walked to the front of the store...I received text saying oil change was done. The text came around 8:10. I figured that couldn't be right. We went to another place to have car checked, and they informed us that Walmart didn't do an oil change, yet they charged me for an oil change. I would definitely recommend that you do not take your vehicle here. read more

Forget getting photos developed timely. The kiosk that prints them right out didn't take my devices. So I had to use the hour-wait kiosk. When I was texted that my prints were ready I went to the counter. Some woman sitting there playing on her phone asked another employee, an older man who was already busy, about "prints to to pick up." He had to finish what he was doing and fetch them for me. While this was going on another customer walked to her to ask for something. Again she told him to wait, sending him to the man who was busy with me, and went back to playing on her phone apps. $15 an hour ppl want to sit on a stool and blow customers off. Also, like every other Walmart I've been to, I have to fish thru banged up cat food cans to find non dented ones. read more

Clean store in a good location, well stocked for the most part, with friendly employees, but a better and more plentiful selection of cactus and succulents in the gardening dept should be offered. read more

Thank you to the three individuals that helped me out finding the specific item I was looking for today. Devante, the assistant manager, was absolutely made for his position and couldn't have expressed his customer service in a better way. He went over and beyond trying to track down the 'few' items that were showing in stock but nowhere to be found, and when he came up with nothing, he offered a price match on the exact same item that was ringing up different from online. However, the woman at the register who refused this price match even after the okay from not only the sale manager, the assistant manager, and then the coach manager, needs a lesson in customer service. Not only was she rude to myself but the lack of respect she held for her management blew my mind. Devante, throw some discipline in your style and you're by far one of the best employees. Congrats on being an assistant manager. Hope to see you as the head hancho someday soon. Overall, most of the employees were pretty awesome with their helpfulness. Store is a little messy but it is after the holiday. read more

This Walmart is the worst. Always have problems here and today we had to wait 30 mins for someone to show up and help us in sporting goods. Holiday weekend and not one person back there to help. Called in to complain to a manager and they wouldn't even take my call and hear my concern. This is why I try and buy everything online and not rely on people that can't do their jobs. read more

The store is ok to shop at but I'm just fed up with no customer service. I don't just love to write a bad review but on more than one occasion I've pulled my buggy up to a register only to have the person flip their light off and feel my they are closed?? Really?? Guess I'm just too old fashioned. I guess I really should just get used to the fact that even though they have like 99 registers only 3 or 4 are open and they'd rather you just check yourself out at the self checkout. read more

Of the Dothan Wal-Mart stores, this one is best. Cleanest, most organized, friendliest people, newest. I do my grocery shopping here and find them to have best prices. read more

Tried 3 times to get info, one picked up never said a word put me on hold. 10 min later on hold called back, ask for a manager, back I go on hold hell. Call back after 15 min, to it not being picked up for 4 min then back on hold I go. I'm sorry I bothered your staff today to ask a simple question.. Is your Wal-Mart to Wal-Mart up and running. Well where to start, I'm making some renovations in my home and came here to get some things to do my bathroom and had several things in my cart. Also needed some oil and binders but that's besides the point. I went to check out at one of the scan and go's and one of the associates named Amanda walked so she could watch me which isn't you know uncommon but then part way through my scanning she got two feet away from me and watched me like a literal hawk regardless I was scanning everything and bagging everything correctly: she stood there just watching me. Like there are cameras for a reason. THEN to add on to that one of the bath rugs I picked up didn't have a tag on it so she looked it up on her phone for like 10 minutes then got someone else to take the rug in her arms and go look for the price I sat at that register for 30 minutes (literally) with Amanda less than two feet away from me watching me regardless that was my last scan I needed. Then as I paid she watched closely at the key pad. Like she was trying to see what I was tapping which was just wrong. Walmart have cameras for a reason. I am the last person to ever steal anything and do not look the part either. So definitely don't recommend. Will be going to target or bed bath and beyond from now on. read more

Poor stocking, or supply? It is convenient (for them) as of late that often more / highest expensive options are the only available option at higher intervals ... Price check? Price sticker? This is Reminiscent of Kmart before their great fall, poor organization and information. Good luck "saving" or finding the one working price check machine let alone the item looked for if it is among lost price options. Ug like they are practically daring us to amazon or elsewhere... Absolute worst deli counter. I'd almost skip it if I could, but Publix is just too expensive. Every time I come here, they need to "clean the slicing machine." Seems to me that should already be done, and you should be ready to help customers. So I stand and wait, for 20 minutes. read more

I was in this Walmart tonight and was in line with several more shoppers behind me and the cashier put a closed sign right in front of me and told me I would have to move along with others behind me. I know that's not Walmart policy. If you have coupons the cashier complains and has to call half the management to get approval. They only had 3-4 registers open and people in all lanes backed up into the clothing area. This is nonsense and Walmart just abuses a few cashiers scared to open more registers even knowing it's Memorial day weekend and holidays are extremely busy and requires more help.
